Today, we're leaving the mountains and cities of Peru behind and traveling to the coastal town of #PARACAS, home to Peru's "Poor Man's Galapagos".
Despite it's not so glamorous name, there is nothing poor about the insane wildlife encounters and incredible biodiversity of the Ballestas Islands. Here you will find South American sea lions, fur seals, cormorants, boobies and even penguins!
The town itself full of charming little shops and restaurants mainly catering to local tourists who make the day-trip here from Lima, Peru. Stay the night and you will be rewarded with an incredible sunset over the Peruvian coast.
