I would go with older engines personally. I bought a 2013 389 with a ISX15 2250, it had 400k. First thing to look at is replacing fuel pump ceramic plungers to steel because if you don’t bye bye to the engine. I then deleted it, then ran it all the way close to 800k. Did regular Pm and only major thing i did was replace the cam and rockers. Also rear main seal and front gear housing seals went out around 600k, replaced clutch when they dropped tranny to replace rear main seal. Some of these engines are known to blow head gaskets when you delete them. Not sure if it’s the 2350s or newer ones. I ended up swapping mine out and replacing it with a rebuilt cat 6nz, instead of dropping 20-30k in rebuilding it.
With how perfect that paint is, looks more like a turn key engine than a overhauled one

Depends anywhere from 10000-35000
I paid $35,000 cash & trust me.... it was worth it 👌. I'm good for another ten years.
Now a days is better to just rebuild an old truck and knowing what you got instead of getting a new one full of sensors
