Hey Chris. I am a collegiate soccer player. I just wanted to say I've been watching your videos (Elliot's) since I was a high school junior (now college senior) and they've definitely impacted my athletic development. Also, similar to the athlete featured in this video, my college strength and conditioning coaches knew about your videos and even featured one of your clips on acceleration (wall drills) as a form demo for our offseason workouts. Keep up the awesome work! I have no idea why you don't have way more subscribers
Great work Chris, we need more videos like that! I like your approach less is better when it comes to plyos because many of young athletes are already doing plyo work in the field (football-soccer-basketball) so putting a lot of work can be detrimental. Keep up the good work!
one thing i see a lot of coaches underemphasize is flexibility and mobility. you have no clue how demanding football or any sport can be and your athlete will def thank you later when he avoids near injury due to really strong joints and muscle bone combinations
Big question, Can we perform or implement Athlete Built or ESA during season? I want speed but in Soccer its just lots of conditioning mostly focusing on Slow Twitch Muscle and I want speed.
You should do a video on leg exercises to help get rid of patellar tendonitis aka jumpers knee! Or send me a message with the exercises because it is killing my basketball game.
Marvin Soccer When he gets a soccer player as his client then he'll most likely start making soccer specific training videos. But for now, all his clients so far have either been football or baseball players.
Hmm, honestly, i can see some similarities, when it comes to soccer, I believe being able to move multi-directional or change of direction is absolutely beneficial, you're chasing a ball whereever it goes right? Plus, being able to laterally move explosively for example and defending against a striker carrying the ball toward you, intercepting it at a quick pace that's something because strikers at the highest level are built to cut left or right to break the defender's ankle, and they're running full speed. So yeah, some of this stuff can help there's obviously not too much contact but some upper body will help with the shoving when opponents, for example, try and steal the ball from you
The guy at the beginning pumping the curl, priceless
i guess it still works the muscle

Marvin Soccer soccer isn't his sport man. He focuses primarily on baseball and football because those are the sports Chris played and knows
Most of the stuff he talks about in these videos though can still be applied
Marvin Soccer When he gets a soccer player as his client then he'll most likely start making soccer specific training videos. But for now, all his clients so far have either been football or baseball players.
Marvin Soccer Also, I don't see how this video can't help you improve in soccer.

He's got crazy good genetics
his bench form sucks, you should tell him to make at least some arch and get some power from legs also by putting them under him more.
