1. Did anyone notice that he was using black pepper instead of red chilly powder in all his recipes? A much healthier and tastier option. 2. He invariably uses clay pot to cook food. 3. He uses rock salt instead of sea salt. 4. He quickly consumes the food while it is still hot. 5. Instead of red chilly, he uses green chilly. 6. He tries his best to use whole pulses and whole grains like whole moong , brown rice. No wonder, he is so fit and energetic. Vivek, u rock....

My real question is do you happen top know what happens to unused tomato, onion, soaked lentils etc and ginger??? I sense these will be thrown away but that can't be sustainable namely ginger and legumes. Any input?

Simple carbs u r adding with Palak .. it's always better to avoid simple carbs. So nutrition wise am just adding carbs to body. Second the cooking separate is something I thought for a reason which I can't recall now.

After I stopped using the white sugar, now I feel like jaggery is better than white sugar in terms of taste. You are really helping good people who want to live healthy life. Just a reminder regarding the first dish - 1) Though spinach is a good source of iron (along with other nutrients), the calcium in paneer prevents our body to absorb the iron. 2) Spinach contains oxalate. It combines with calcium and forms calcium oxalate, which our body cannot absorb. Hence, the calcium in paneer is not of much use. Alternative combinations : Spinach - Spinach with radish (mooli) Spinach paratha Spinach with pulses (Dal) Paneer : Paneer with capsicum and/or green peas Paneer stuffed paratha. Paneer roll.
@@otakuxgirl6 you couldn't understand the reason. They are telling that cheese and spinach when had together, doesn't allow the body to absorb the goodness from spinach because of calcium present in dairy products
@@ancysusanjose133 It's good (it's an iron-rich food). But it should not be consumed with foods that contain calcium, (then our body cannot absorb the iron. I've explained already how does it happen🙂).
@@otakuxgirl6 Spinach, of course is good for our health. It is a rich source of iron. But, spinach cooked with a calcium containing food must be avoided. Because then it prevents our body to absorb the iron from that food, that is, spinach. How does it happen I've explained it already earlier. That's why some alternative combinations have been suggested, to keep its nutrient value intact. Check my previous comment! Hope it's clear now🙂

Back acne is a sign that your gut (stomach) or hormones are out of balance. I have suffered from back acne and following lifestyle changes helped. 1st Get rid of Bananas from your diet. Drink at least 2 glasses of warm water 1st thing in the morning. Add oats to your breakfast. Massage your tummy clockwise with warm oil before going to bed and put a warm wheat bag on it after massage. Reduce intake of beverages (tea and coffee) and packaged foods . Drink lots of water. Avoid any hormone related pills (including any birth control pills). Have your meals on time (dinner being the lightest meal of the day). Optional: Drink mint tea or turmeric milk before going to bed. Accupuncture also helped in my case but consult your doctor for it. Most importantly, be happy and avoid stress in life. God bless! 🙏

1) Though spinach is a good source of iron (along with other nutrients), the calcium in paneer prevents our body to absorb the iron.
2) Spinach contains oxalate. It combines with calcium and forms calcium oxalate, which our body cannot absorb. Hence, the calcium in paneer is not of much use.
Alternative combinations :
Spinach -
Spinach with radish (mooli)
Spinach paratha
Spinach with pulses (Dal)
Paneer :
Paneer with capsicum and/or green peas
Paneer stuffed paratha.
Paneer roll.

Back acne is a sign that your gut (stomach) or hormones are out of balance. I have suffered from back acne and following lifestyle changes helped. 1st Get rid of Bananas from your diet. Drink at least 2 glasses of warm water 1st thing in the morning. Add oats to your breakfast. Massage your tummy clockwise with warm oil before going to bed and put a warm wheat bag on it after massage. Reduce intake of beverages (tea and coffee) and packaged foods . Drink lots of water. Avoid any hormone related pills (including any birth control pills). Have your meals on time (dinner being the lightest meal of the day). Optional: Drink mint tea or turmeric milk before going to bed. Accupuncture also helped in my case but consult your doctor for it. Most importantly, be happy and avoid stress in life. God bless! 🙏
