This is excellent! I have two older sighthounds and am getting a newf, and this video was an excellent refresher on how to set the new lad up for success from the start.
We brought our 8 week old Newfoundland pup home today…he’s never been away from his litter and is a wee bit sad.

I wish your channel had more subscribers! Boundaries and training= 💯 important especially with large dog breeds. These tips are excellent.👍🏼We started training the moment our Newfie Chewy was taken home. It helped reading/educating ourselves prior to us being his owners. And it never hurts to put them in a basic puppy training class. Chewy is now 5 at 140 lbs😱. He’s healthy, happy, and obedient unless there’s an opportunity for him to seize some food.🤣 He’s amazing.🥰
We are picking up ours on Sunday. Excited.

I have an 18 month old Landseer Newfie. When I brought Ichinojo home my first task was to acclimate him to my house and show him which areas were his. Then I got to work on bonding. Then after he accepted me as his master and realised I loved him and would always take care of him we got to work on boundary and obedience training. Potty training was a breeze. Whenever he pooped I'd scoop it up and put it in a corner of the yard, and after a day or two he figured out that was the spot he should pee and poop in.
Getting my new newf next month and this is great info. Definitely going to do your puppy training as I've learnt so much from your videos.

Literally working from home with my newf pup leashed to me at the moment lol. Watching to make sure we aren’t missing anything. But we have been routine heavy for a week now and things have been good all things considered
How do you do this structured every day every hour training if you have a job that isn't taking care of your dogs?
It's interesting how the British pronounce Newfoundland. In America it's pronounce new Finland

I’m trying to find Newfoundland breeders in my area which is Pakistan Karachi but can’t find one if anyone can help me in the comments than tysm it’s my dream dog.

I have. House broken 5 Newfoundland puppies in 24 hours. One bring your puppy home in a cage. The puppy will not go in its cage. Two as soon as the puppy shows signs of needing to go put on the leash/ collar and the puppy outside. After the puppy does it thing , lots of praise. Three , here’s the hard part. I always use the family room or back room really close to an outside door. Sleep next to the puppy on the floor. If possible your hand in or near the kennel. This is like having a newborn. When it whines get and take the puppy out, again lots of praise. I have picked up my puppy Friday afternoon and usually by Saturday night the puppy has it. At most Sunday morning. A long lead might be helpful if you don’t want to go out in the middle of the night. I know this may sound weird, but it has worked for 5 puppies in a row. If the puppy has an accident, give some loving/ not praise and take it out in case it needs to go some more.

you are not even talking about how newfs react...they are a very stubborn breed this is a basic training guide for all puppies
