I don’t know about applying castor oil to your face. But I can vouch for it on the hair. I have been applying equal amounts of castor oil & almond oil on my hair & it has helped in growth & less hair fall too. I use an ounce cup that comes with syrup medicines & prepare fresh every time. I take 5 ml of castor oil & 5 ml of almond oil & heat it for about 5-10 secs in microwave. Then I massage it into my hair. Leave it for about 1-2 hrs & then wash it with a shampoo. *You can use olive oil to make your hair look good and feel healthy.* It is _no secret_ that heat styling makes it hard for you to grow new hair, but the oils found in *olive oil work as a protectant against those high temperatures* by creating a shield around natural keratin which _contains antioxidants, vitamin E, and oleic acid._ Olive Oil also has _anti-inflammatory properties which may help with treating dandruff too!_

Get a shot glass and a clean spoolie brush or unused tooth brush. Put a little castor oil in the glass. You don’t want to contaminate the whole bottle by dipping into it. Dip the brush and then brush your brows and lashes at night before sleep. I don’t dilute it. It won’t be too thick for lashes. Sleep with it on and your lashes and brows will grow like crazy.

We Indians apply oil in daily basis and it applying oil is one of our tradition. That's why most of the Indians have long thick and black hair. The secret is we use ayurvedic products and we use natural shampoo like hibiscus flower and leaf. I always used to wash my hair with hibiscus flower and leaf. After drying my hair I would like to apply oil in my hair. And weekly one I apply fenugreek paste on my scalp and hair. Fenugreek helps your scalp to cool and it arrests hair fall. I always prefer coconut oil for cooking and hair maintance. Andalso our genetics plays a major role. We used to eat lot of vegetables and greens especially moringa leaves. Hope you guys will understand us 💫

Oh my. Hair loss can be caused by various things. Externally, it can happen due to constant tension. This happens to those who braid their hair at the scalp, wear buns and other updo's more than a couple times a week, wear heavy styles like dreads & certain kinds of extensions. Or, from a "dirty" scalp or overwashed scalp. Washing frequency preferences wildy differ from person to person but one thing is for sure: Wash too infrequently for your scalp, you will experience buildup (even if you avoid products, your own body can make buildup) that will clog & irritate your scalp - and Wash too often or always with stripping surfactants (a kind of strong cleansing agent) and you will destroy the microbiome on your scalp. So basically, you can weaken, suffocate or dehydrate the hair follicles and adding a heavy concentrated oil will not undo this! If your hair loss is coming from the inside, that most likely has to do with your endocrine system: hormones. Your diet may have damaged your hormone balance. Studies connect high glucose (sugar & sugar from carbs) to hurting your hormones. Look up PCOS & High DHT (testosterone related issues) for some info. Oil will also not resolve this. Furthermore, getting your hair wet does Not help absorption. Your hair is covered in cuticles, which are like layered flaps that can be jagged, smooth, flat down or spiked up depending on the health of the hair. Water gets in, around & under all these scales and swells up the whole hair shaft. You know what that leaves no room for? Oil. Also putting a heavy wet towel on your head is a terrible idea: Tension from a lot of weight and unnecessary water. And essential oils are often designed as FRAGRANCE and are usually NOT safe for skin, they can be very irritating and possibly cause allergic reactions. They will probably just sit atop a clogged or dry scalp and may chemically burn the skin. If you want to help your hair, do it with lifestyle adjustments first. Eat clean, lots of veggies & take vitamins to resolve zinc, vit A, K, B's, C, D etc deficiencies and help your organs (esp liver and pancreas) so your body produces the right amount of hormones at the right times. Then you can go in with home remedies like scalp massages. Use well made products (doesn't need to be mass marketed) with appropriately diluted oils formulated to actually penetrate the skin. If you take care of yourself on the inside and make sure your cleansing, care & styling habits aren't damaging your hair, THEN you can actually reap the benefits of scalp treatments.
hello their I totally agree with you! I am 59 years old I always had very very thick hair , for the past 10 month or so I have been loosing my hair on a very very fast pace, for the life of me I don't understand why. I eat very well organic food no process food . lots of protein, veggies. I don't know what to think is happening with my hair, It lost its shine and it looks freeze all the time and dry , I wash it twice a week .
@Helen MacLean Hi Helen! I'm in no way a dr or hair professional, but I would definitely stop by a doctor with this turn of events! Our hormones often express themselves through our skin & hair, and menopausal hormones (I know you're young but some women start in their 40's! Did mom or grandma experience menopause around your current age? Did they experience any hair thinning?) might be a lead! You may also be experiencing a reaction to something. Did you know you can develop a new allergy at any age? Without becoming paranoid, try eliminating (one at a time, don't overwhelm yourself) one product or common food for a month and watch for changes, and then go ahead and add it back in and take another out until your body gives you a clue. Also, stress causes a lot of intense hormones. Cortisol, adrenaline. The world over is going through a lot so it might be safe to say your stress is higher than usual! If you've gone through something traumatic or life changing, sometimes you'll shed a lot of hair, and often you can count on it coming back (slowly but surely). Definitely consult with your GD, get some bloodwork done & your scalp checked for any visible issues, and seek a referral to a dermatologist or other specialist before you go down any home remedy route! BUT one thing you might want to check is your water quality. Contaminated pipes are worst case, but Hard Water (water with minerals and other agents that raise its pH too high) has been the culprit of many dermal maladies, and you saying your hair is dry & stiff made me think that's worth a check. You can have someone come in (i recommend) or you can send water samples out (i believe home Depot is an option). And at the end of the day, our bodies just change, and sometimes it's just that you're onto a new chapter. I'm closer to 30 and I have experienced thinning too! and always lean on drinking as much water as you can stand (don't worry hard water that you DRINK is totally harmless) :) best of luck
Very good video but one problem. Never damp your hair before applying oil in them. Your roots can get weak and people with dandruff can end up having more dandruff. Best way is to use a dropper massage very gently and then cover with towel which is soaked in as much hot water as you can take and wrung thoroughly, so the steam from it can open the hair roots and oil can go in. Oh and you can add glycerine too instead of another oil but then wash it after an hour but never keep it overnight. Caster oil should always be applied to clean hair. Dirty greasy hair with its thick consistency can be uncomfortable and messy clogging the roots more. It can also be used on darkened knees and elbows.
Thanks for sharing. So castor oil itself is enough (no need to mixed it with other oil)? Apply on clean & dry hair. Wrap head with hot towel for 1or2 hours?? Then rinse as usual with shampoo & conditioner??
Erlin iewanto Yes exactly. Better to warm it microwave for 10 to 20 second or as much warm as you can to lessen its thickness. Organic one is the best.
To make sense it nourishes the cells, if applied to the face it'll be just as same as other ready-made nourishing creams that contains vitamins & antioxidants ecxept castor oil at least doesn't contain any harmful additives like parabenes But i think wrongly handled oily skin might be a concern

It does take time to show improvement... at least 4-6 months. So be patient! I use it once a week mostly during weekends. Hope this will help someone.

What oils do indian woman use on their hair?
*You can use olive oil to make your hair look good and feel healthy.*
It is _no secret_ that heat styling makes it hard for you to grow new hair, but the oils found in *olive oil work as a protectant against those high temperatures* by creating a shield around natural keratin which _contains antioxidants, vitamin E, and oleic acid._ Olive Oil also has _anti-inflammatory properties which may help with treating dandruff too!_

Get a shot glass and a clean spoolie brush or unused tooth brush. Put a little castor oil in the glass. You don’t want to contaminate the whole bottle by dipping into it. Doesn't it go in the eye
@@masoomataqi2526 no it doens't
how did u apply on eyelashes?
Warren Johannson i use a empty eyebrow gel and filled it with oil
It is really effective. I used it for almost two months yet I saw the result
For indian region, the best carrier would be coconut oil/ mustard oil, instead of olive oil
Coconut is ok but only for summer, mustard will be too thick..
@@TheKumarmanojBut mustard oil has greater benefits than olive oil
@@aryakhadye8180 i used it fr last 1 yr...its so thick dat while shampooing i can see lot of strands on my hair i almost went bold frm top...now i use oilve castor tea rosemary.............now planning to use dermaroller once scalp gets clean...
see... I didn't know mustard was oily
Wrong,olive is greatest medicine @@aryakhadye8180
Jojoba is just as awesome...it's cheaper too and you don't have to mix it with another oil. They sell an all organic jojoba oil in a beautiful glass jar for $12.00 bucks at Walmart..
I actually didn't know if castor oil would work (I've only tried it on my eyelashes). My lashes grew so long so quickly that the tiny lashes on the inner corners of my eyes grew to irritate my eyes and I had to trim them a little...so be careful lol.
Haha that’s amazing
Woow!
Yup... Castrol Oli is very beneficial for hair..it's very helpful for dandruff scalp I used it since 2 3years..
Does it stops hairfall dear??
@@kanchanpantawane9012 yes..use it with almond oil or olive oil ....its work for my hair ...😍😍I hope it's helpful fr uh tooo🤞
@@rubinakhan11723 does it grows unwanted hair on face aswell ??
Do you wash with warm or cold water?
Yes right sweetheart l do this like way , l mix with coconut oil ....thank you so much.
Ahhh yes! Well said! You got it right
👍😂That's a mouthful thx
hello their I totally agree with you!
One of the most beneficial and informative comment I've ever made.
I use castor oil. It's REALLY helpful. Do use it everyone!👍🏻👍🏻
It's fine to do it on black hair
Thanks for sharing. So castor oil itself is enough (no need to mixed it with other oil)? Apply on clean & dry hair. Wrap head with hot towel for 1or2 hours?? Then rinse as usual with shampoo & conditioner??
Erlin iewanto Yes exactly. Better to warm it microwave for 10 to 20 second or as much warm as you can to lessen its thickness. Organic one is the best.
@@Noname-zx4xj thanks =)
Mona Mona how do you apply it on dark knees? Do you just rub it?
To make sense it nourishes the cells, if applied to the face it'll be just as same as other ready-made nourishing creams that contains vitamins & antioxidants ecxept castor oil at least doesn't contain any harmful additives like parabenes
But i think wrongly handled oily skin might be a concern
Will try this. Thank you
Jamaican black castor oil definitely works wonders for my scalp cause I have eczema and it gets real flaky, red, itchy, irritated looking soon as I use JBCO all itching, redness and flakes are gone within 2 days......I would love to try and see how regular castor oil works.

It make hair grow everywhere face, hair, eyebrows, eye lashes...
I have applied castor oil along with olive oil and coconut oil in my hair and my hair fall has completely stopped within 3 times of use.. also my hair is super smooth and manageable which was never before.. thanks for the tip
@Noor Saiyed it's been only 4 or 5 times I would have used by now and I can see that my hair is growing thicker and longer as well

Which Castrol oil is best? I mean which one did you use for yourself? Please reply.
How do you use it just for 30 minutes?
@hare priyaa can you please tell the proportion you used in mixing coconut oil, castor oil and olive oil?
