I got a bit tongue-tied and wanted to reiterate that when I said non-GMO, I meant to say that it is when whomever is producing the product, is sure to follow the organic system guidelines, and will not purposefully or genetically change, the natural ingredient, such as the castor bean.
Organic really needs to be certified organic. However, in my experience, I find that many companies are not truthful with this. I actually have a video coming out this week talking about masking and milk of magnesia. However, milk of magnesia is anti-inflammatory and healing and helps the skin at night when the body is purging out impurities through many of the organs, including the largest organ of the body the skin. Helps to keep pores, clean and skin firm.

I got rid of a pre-cancer on my nose by mixing up a plaster of clear castor oil and baking soda. Put a dab of paste on the spot and put band-aid over it each night. That spot was totally gone in 4 days!! Also got rid of a “sun spot” on my face w this combo.

Hello well I’m 70 years old and as a child my grandma and mom used castor oil has a laxative and we use it hair products and Vaseline for the face as a black child growing up we didn’t have as much skin care and face care as others so we just used what we had in our bathroom cabinets… this is so funny that everyone on the internet I mean you can go any place on the internet without pretty much here everyone is talking about castor oil it’s the same for the retinol it’s like an epidemic. I did chelation for heavy metals back in 2014. I could not grow my fingernails after that. They would just split & peel & break off. I tried everything & had given up. I use castor oil for a number of ailments. I put castor oil packs on the soles of my feet to help with a neuroma. And I have found that my cracked heels are now smooth and lovely as a side benefit. I also use castor oil packs with a heat pad for my knees. I was told I have a torn meniscus and the doctor wanted to do surgery. I chose to use castor oil and I am pain-free. No surgery. Lastly, I use castor oil on my eyelids. It has helped my dry eyes. Such a relief. It is amazing. I am a huge fan.

I use castor oil on my eye lids at night for dry eye too. A very small amount. It really is amazing stuff. I actually began to use it like an eye cream at night. I make sure to get it into my brows as well.
@@jenise2503 YES for all of those. I have my clients put their eye cream on early in the evening and then apply Jamaican black castor over their eyes and under their eyes overnight.

It makes me cringe when I see these young women in their thirties buying up all the beauty stuff and spending hundreds of dollars to look young when they already are. And yes I would not use regular suntan lotion but if you need to get organic. Your body needs natural vitamin D and a little bit of pinkness on your skin is not going to hurt.

Using it on your eyelids helps eye issues (floaters, dry eyes, etc). My dry eye syndrome has improved immensely simply by using it on my eyelids at night and I don't even use it every night.

Hi Lisa, I'm back binge watching your videos starting today. I forgot how calm and happy they make me feel. Wayne mentioned you out of the clear blue yesterday and I made a mental note to come watch your videos. I'm so glad I did. I've been going through severe depression and anxiety ever since last July because Wayne had another brain surgery that left him paralyzed on his entire left side. He has made great progress, but he hasn't regained the use of his right arm and hand yet. He walks with a cane, but he's no longer in the wheelchair. We're both grateful to God for helping us on this journey.
I wanted to say hello and let you know again that you've been an extremely positive part of me and Wayne's life the past few years. You are a light and you are touching peoples lives. Plus, your skincare advice has been working great for me. Many people assume I'm wearing foundation and concealer and I'm not wearing anything. Going to bed with milk of magnesia on my face makes me look like I'm wearing makeup the next morning before I even wash my face! EVERYBODY needs to take your advice lol😂

I agree with everything you said. I started with the Kate Blanc caster oil and absolutely love it. I recently purchased the Queen of Thrones organic black castor oil and am currently using it. So far I like it and will take your recommendations to use it in certain areas. I just finished my bottle of Kates and I am amazed at the results. I use it for everything you do. And I don’t use it in my eyes. However I do use it on small scars, small skin tags and other small marks on my body. The improvement is amazing. I also use it on my gums and rinse it out. Glad I'm not the only one that doesn't wear foundation or concealer. I feel that it ages you faster. I use sunblock, blush and mascara. On a good day I will add eyeliner. I recently started doing castor oil on my face and I see an improvement on my texture and scars are clearing up.

Remember, we all have normal skin just different pigments and colors. I say that because Rice water can work on all skin tones. The biggest thing with the darker skin tones is that we keep it hydrated. If you’re looking to have a more even skin tone or pigmentation that is about getting rid of any old skin and Callous. I would have you do other things, however You could absolutely try rice water as your toner after exfoliating and cleansing your skin. However, if you were a peach, I would still want you to use apple cider vinegar as a toner.

I purchased both castor oils. The clear castor oil has gotten rid of my eye wrinkles and puffiness. It cleaned my colon out by me rubbing a tiny bit on my stomach. It got rid of my forehead wrinkles. Its so amazing! It got rid of the rough dry skin on the heels of my feet. It grew my eyelashes. Rubbing a tiny bit on my back made my back ache go away.

Its so interesting to see castor oil making a comeback lol we (the natural hair community)were doing youtube castor oil challenges in 2013, where we would use castor oil to massage our scalps for a hair growth challenge.
My other favorite use is in the oil cleansing method. You massage the face with a mix of oils that works well for your skin ( olive, almond, grape seed, castor etc) and then use a washcloth heated up with hot water and you do a mini steam laying the cloth on your face a few times then pat off the excess...i had the skin and shiny thick hair wheb I was doing this.

Hello new here! I enjoyed the video thanks dark glass with glass eye droppers is the only way to go. I use castor oil the same ways you do except I do put it all over my face some times and never in my hair. I have in the past and it fix my over dyed dry long hair, if I used it today it would take several washings and a few grease hair days. My husband mentioned we needed to pick some up and I pull a bottle out of my collection. I use rose hip because it is thicker but might be using castor tonight. Cheers

I actually just filmed a milk of magnesia video today that should be out either Thursday or next Sunday. I included other masks as well.
Every person is different and has different ethnicity and different colors of skin but it really has no bearing on how healthy your skin will be.
I actually didn’t have great skin when I was younger, and I would have to say that my grandmother and my mother aged pretty poorly. However, they did both smoke and not take really good care of themselves.

You could and it would be just fine however, I prefer you to use JBC under your eye area on the dark circles and over your eyelids. You will be amazed at the results as long as you’re using excellent skin care, and I suggest absolutely no concealer or foundation.

I actually have a whole video on this that I just put up not long ago.
I really don’t like tinted sunscreen and the only one that I recommend is Drmtology Physical.
However, for me, a wide brimmed hat is key, and I don’t believe in sunscreen every day. I think it can actually harm our skin more than doing good. Most companies and too many bad ingredients and too many chemicals, both of which harm our bodies and our skin.

I’ve been using castor oil for the last few weeks but my senior skin is SO dry I find it hard to get good coverage as the oil is so thick! I have been using coconut oil first and then the castor oil on top but I heard you say it’s best to use it by itself..so now I’m wondering what’s best for me to do? Any advice would be appreciated. I actually do not like coconut oil on the face. In its natural state is very thick and can clog pores that are really help hair follicles. You really want to use an occlusive such as Vaseline brand petroleum jelly, they have a triple purification process and even the journal of medicine says it is one of the most healing ointment appointment.
However, one reason your skin is so dry is because it is so thick and calloused . When you watch me, you’ll learn that we do most of our damage by our early 20s and then our skin tries to protect itself and it becomes calloused and dry and dull. What I do is help me you to remove that dull calloused old skin and bring up healthy new tissue. That way castor oil or any other oil you use can get in and penetrate.

I love your video on caster oil. My friend send me a bottle of castor oil for the island, St Lucia. Her mom has been making it herself for years now. I've been using it on my brows, around my eyes and face. It can in a plastic bottle so I'm guessing I need to transfer it into a breakable bottle. In fact, Castor plant is one of the oilseed with rich oil content owing to its high monounsaturated fatty acid and bioactive compounds. Its fatty acid profile constitutes mainly of ricinoleic acid and other minor acids such as stearic, palmitic, and oleic acid.

Do not worry about that ingredient after speaking with several chemist and physicians and pharmacist, I’ve been assured that this is something people drink, and I have used it for almost 40 years .
It is less than one percent of the whole product and very safe .

I gotcha for castor oil face routine: serum (mine is just Differin gel), CeraVe cream, castor oil, Vaseline top off. Wait between each layer enough that they sink in. No regrets, my friends. I'm an old bag with great skin.

I would say yes, however, I am not a fan of differin gel until your skin is ready for it if ever .
I do not like Cerave products, they have no food value to your skin or antioxidant value.
Instead, just apply your castor oil and if you’d like to do a light layer, Vaseline, if you need it, you can. Otherwise, the castor oil is enough.
Be sure you are Gently exfoliating and cleansing properly.

@@PeachesSkinCare I use the CeraVe because it is an actual moisturizer, whereas the castor oil is an occlusive. Different has worked great for me for wrinkles as opposed to retinol.

I just came upon your video on using castor oil. I am a believer of the powerful uses for castor oil. I have one I ordered from Amazon that is organic and comes in a glass bottle,onvideo cold presses, hexane free, contains Ricinus communis seed. I am wondering if it is as good as one you are using. I love my castor oil, and it is in a PET plastic bottle, which is resistant to castor oil. However, I am looking at glass. Unless I have tested it, I don’t recommend it only because there are so many that say they are some when they really aren’t.

Hilda’s, just came across your channel… i have recently started using Castor oil, and your info is soo interesting to me…. You mentioned hair removal….what are your thoughts on facial ingrown hair in a post menopausal woman?

An ingrown hair has Nothing to do a post menopause. It is more likely how you are caring for your skin after hair removal and how you are removing hair from your skin. An example that I see all the time is women that pluck their hairs from their chin. Unfortunately, this breaks the hair and leaves some of the hair in the hair follicle and creates folliculitis.
If you choose to shave, and you don’t first exfoliate and cleanse the skin, you can leave an opening for bacteria and fungus that can also create folliculitis .
I like to be sure my clients exfoliate and cleanse first and then shave and afterward be sure that they clean the area afterwards with apple cider vinegar and possibly even use a benzoyl peroxide that I recommend. I have even had clients mask afterwards .
I hope this encourages you and I hope you know that just because we are in menopause or done with menopause does not mean our skin or our muscles or our collagen Has to be bad. It really is about how we care for our skin daily and how consistent we are. Many people here that have gone through menopause or in menopause will tell you their skin has never been better. @@PeachesSkinCare just to highlight unfortunately we don't go through menupause & then it's over we transition into menupause we lose our hormones they deplete progesterone first then estrogen then testosterone.. So we don't come out of menupause we stay in menupause till we leave thus earth... That is why BHRT is so important to top up the hormones we lost to feel & look our best in aging. While protecting our future self from age diseases like osteoporosis cardiovascular disease, dementia etc
@@cearilindubhlaoi9507 I’m not really sure the point you were trying to make I didn’t say that menopause ends. I said I was at the end of the menopause symptoms for me. I don’t take HRT because it was not good for me. My diet and exercise, and a few other holistic practices work beautifully for who I am.

I have tried twice to put Castor Oil on my eye lids, but my skin gets red and swollen. I use Heritage Store Organic Castor Oil in a glass bottle. I even diluted it a bit with Rosehip oil.
Am I just one of the unlucky few that can't put Castor Oil on their eyelids? The rest of my face and neck are fine. 😞

@@PeachesSkinCare It's clear. I got the same reaction before adding Rosehip oil. I added it to make it easier to spread Castor Oil. Hoping that putting on less would be better.

@@PeachesSkinCare No it was not an old bottle. I think it is pure because it's labeled organic. I got it at my local health food store. I stopped using eye cream after getting a sudden reaction to it. That happened before the Castor Oil, but it was similar. Now I only use glycerin. I will try a different brand of Castor Oil after this one is used up. Thank you for letting me ask. It's helpful to know a different brand might work.
