We know that its not practical to buy a boxter but the way u said it to make the car suit anyones needs " scrape up a lil and buy a truck" really won my heart. Great job!
i got the same color with red top and red interior, automatic shift PDK. its a fantastic car, though never had a Porsche before to compare it with. Perhaps little under powered, so I recommend the S version.leg room is good, I am over 6 foot tall, but the standard seats are little tight.
It's very nice....but for 70 grand so is the Stingray Vette....droptop. It's all subjective I understand. But side by side....The Vette all day. And this dude Tom does the best reviews hands down.
Hey Tom, great job. Would it be possible to throw in some tech details on your videos? Just an extra minute about navigation usage/ features, buttons, seats, etc. Thanks!
Tom, am I right when I write this? The only manufacturers that have boxer engines are Porsche and Subaru (perhaps Toyota with the shared Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S). If incorrect, let me know and type back. Thanks.
Hello Tom, please let me know your thoughts on the 2013 Porsche Boxster base, manual transmission as of the year 2024. Is it still as desirable in this day and age in your opinion? Thank you!
I love this reviewer. It seems like he taylors the review to the car. Unlike other car review shows, they tend to taylor the car to their cookie cutter review tactics.
A little curious, does the relatively small amount (or seems like it to me) of storage space even with 2 trunks hinder travelling? On one hand it doesn't look like it can hold a lot, on the other it only does seat 2 people.
+M4st3rm1nd i live in oman (next to dubai) the porsche dealer here bring them customized, i got everything in it pdk, sport mode, exhaust, white with red interior, but no gprs, beautiful car love it, it has the sport & classy look
If anyone doubts Tom's road tests, just hang around and Tube will put on a test from AN Other. Bad shooting, wasteful, stupid comments. Keep it up Tom!!
I will never have a porsche I'm too poor and there's not exactly a place of my Godsons booster. This sucker is pretty cool if I was willing to shell out fifty grand.
You pay a lot for this car. I often wonder about it and it's probably car companies not wanting to be innovative on their cheap cars and not really trying too hard, even though the cheapest cars new to buy aren't cheap
It's time to get rid of the key. With Toyota, my key just needs to be in my pocket and I can reach for the door handle and it unlocks. I just push the START igniton button and go. My key is in my pocket the whole time.

YOU ARE THE BEST REVIEWER OF CARS!
If only all reviews on TH-cam were as good as this one...
Hope to soon.
man! what a car.... no one really needs more in a sportscar than this one offers!

love the T-P test! Been enjoying your reviews since you've been Podcasting, Thanks Alot :-)
Easily the best car reviewer on youtube! I love your videos Tom. Keep them up!

No thanks. I prefer Porsche over a Chevy for a ton of reasons. Superior engineering is just one of them. But, that's me.

Tom is the man. Hands down
Great review, awesome car. I agree, best reviewer from the US.
I actually never knew that, that was the reason why it was named "Boxter" cool stuff
i like your reviews, if one of my lotto tickets pay off, i was thinking a cayman. i'm stuck with a 2008 smart.
Nice job on your review of the Boxster Base model.
How do you see and get tithe engine to work on it
Just bought one! :)

What's not desirable about a car that looks great and is wicked fun to drive?
🤙
This was 2013. And main point of the review is the amazing sound the 6 flat engine does. Which was LOST in the boxster 718.
No. Not even close to the best... But we could say - best car reviewer from USA.
I love this reviewer. It seems like he taylors the review to the car. Unlike other car review shows, they tend to taylor the car to their cookie cutter review tactics.
I love porche panemara and boxter!
how can this get the same MPG on the highway as my Honda Fit Sport?
Always love your reviews! Keep it up
I want a manual Parking brake for when the tires are worn out and I can go to an empty parking lot and leave c burns all over the place
Thanks Tom...excellent review of a excellent car!
Do you find the lack of a hard top an issue here in Seattle?
He does not live in Seattle.
Can you review the cayenne GTS pls
A little curious, does the relatively small amount (or seems like it to me) of storage space even with 2 trunks hinder travelling? On one hand it doesn't look like it can hold a lot, on the other it only does seat 2 people.
got mine 3 month ago and i love it :)

+Dub Bass congrats on your purchase, can i ask how does the pdk work? It is automatic? And is it easy to drive? I have never driven a manual car
A lot more informative review than the one motorweek just did
Tom IS the man!!!
best looking porsche out now, and its the cheapest, soo in my eyes the best porsche out right now. good review
No rattles? Many of these do.
Tom would have put "Evil Twin" in one of the trunks.
Are you going to review Porsche Cayman?
@Tom: it's "beeindruckend" - maybe you better just keep saying impressive though. ;) Great review, btw!
che dire......fantastica meraviglia tedesca.......grandissima.
those cup holders...well I want this car now
Excellent review!
And probably the front trunk.
Great review tom!thanks
Dam the 2013 model is sexy

I did. 'the stance of the car is very low." Duh... and that's one of the better comments.
Great review and fantastic car!
Great Review ;) and yes... you should get one now that the kids are out of the house :)
WOW, a different porsche, nice.
Chassis and Body are the same thing, like nearly every car on the planet these days. When was there a car that had a seperate chassis, 1975??
as always great review!
No back up camera 🤦🏾♂️
Very cool video as always
I will never have a porsche I'm too poor and there's not exactly a place of my Godsons booster. This sucker is pretty cool if I was willing to shell out fifty grand.
Poor evil twin, he did not get to come along this time. Did you make him drive the other car to take the toilet paper home? lol
Thanks yo, i love your videos
@wildone106 not one I've ever seen!
Great soundtracts! hehe
Im from germany and Impressiv in german is=Beeindruckend
beautiful car!
You have not met Brian Cooley.
Very nice
My godfather has one 2015 and she's a powerful engine!
can't wait for the new cayman!
Right? Poor guy didn't get to sit in the nice Porche haha.
me likey, nice review Tom

I just hope that now that VW owns Porsche, it won't become as unreliable as all other VW group models.
what happened to your "twin brother". ah yes its a 2 seater eh. aww poor him
I think he's good, but Chris Harris is the best.
Looks like a Toyota MRS
Boot volume ?
90 toilet paper rolls
It looks like a Toyota
I wish it had a hard top.
+kenbefound thankyou :)
He must be tiny
did he buy all that tissue paper so he can cry later in his Porsche??
WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! Why do all you Americans get it wrong every time? It's a combination of the words speedster and boxer. Not roadster!
According to Porsche it's roadster. Also, your caps lock is on.
In the middle. Right behind the driver.
It's time to get rid of the key. With Toyota, my key just needs to be in my pocket and I can reach for the door handle and it unlocks. I just push the START igniton button and go. My key is in my pocket the whole time.
Much easier to steal.
