    Imagine having bought the wrong spray paint by mistake... and now you got a car with black painted squares when you drive around ;)

    Love your content. One thing I realized. Isn't it easier to buy the ready ones that covers the logo and get it over with in 5 minutes? I bought some from Amazon and literally took me 5 to 6 minutes to stick it on. It's been there for almost 6 months now, without any lifting or fading. Just a thought 😅

      @roosty04 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same. EVAAM has some nice ones. Shipping took forever but super easy and they look good.

    • @dadstoyscars
      @dadstoyscars  ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course you can also do it that way.
      The logos would just look a little bigger than the OEM.
      It’s fun little DIY to do and look cleaner this way.

      Which logo covers did you buy... cuz the ones I got still show the chrome peeking out from the sides of emblems

      I purchased mine through EVAAM. I think they were between $30-35 came with the steering wheel logo cover as well. Super easy install.

      @@roosty04 but could you just play some on top of the existing Tesla logo or did you have to remove it because I don't want to remove it

    Interesting! I wonder why it does not just pull off the logos as well? Is it because the logos are different material than the paint?

    • @dadstoyscars
      @dadstoyscars  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think because it’s on different surfaces and logo is not the same level as the car.

    That's look really good! Wish you would have gotten the footage of you removing the excess from the DUAL MOTOR emblem. I was most curious as to how that works. Were you using chopsticks remove the excess?

    • @dadstoyscars
      @dadstoyscars  ปีที่แล้ว

      That part came out the same way that’s why I didn’t show it. It’s just on the inside take longer time to pick out plastic dip.
      We used toothpicks for small pieces.

    Great job Paul. Do you think it will work over a surface that has PPF already?

    • @dadstoyscars
      @dadstoyscars  ปีที่แล้ว

      It should still work because the PPF is not on the logos.

    For all that work why you just buy a cap and done

    • @dadstoyscars
      @dadstoyscars  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would by caps for real carbon fiber covers but not black out logos.
      Because they make logos bulkier and look like plastic.
      These actually turned out so much better.
      I was thinking the same thing before decided to do this.
