Why would you compare a X with a X3D. Of course the X3D is going to win, especially if its the most recent previous generation. Thats the whole point of the X3D architecture.
Comparing Zen 5 to 14th gen is seriously stupid. Intel just gave the chips some more Power and called it a day. Zen 5 needs only 2/3 of the Power while matching multi core performance and achieving higher scores in single core performance. As an upgrade from the last generation the non X3D chips are probably not worth it. Still better than paying 600€/$ for a 14900k which dies instantly

If you are a gamer, either wait a few months to see 9800x3d performans or go with 7800x3d. You will have the chance to upgrade your cpu later since both are on am5 platform..
It depends on what you play and what screen you have. 65W TDP is enough for max boost for single core. But low TDP is bottleneck for boosting all threads. Without overclocking you wont run all cores at 5,5GHz. If your usage doesnt require all cores run at max frequency then 9700x can be best for you. If not wait for x3d. But for x3d you would need better cooler so instead of 359usd it can be even 1k usd (depends on pricing). For 4k gaming 9700x is actually pretty bad. Also lower TDP = lower temps = quiter PC.
They are lowering prices because, as Steve so eloquently put it, it is a waste of sand. The take away is, skip this generation and keep what you have or get a 7800X3D.

It beats last gen with less power and if you allow it to use more power in bios so it uses as much power as last gen it completely destroys last gen
Sound treat the room you record in as it sounds like your in a fishbowl . Reduce the bass in your mic aswell.
Zen 5 are pure waste 😂😂😂😂 just wait for zen 6. Even x3d zen 5 can't help amd.
Should I upgrade my Ivy Bridge i5-3570K?
yes it's time to upgrade to somthing new
Hi all gamers. I have an old 😢intel 8700, i want build new setup should i take the ryzen 7800x3d or wait ryzen 9700x to pairing with my rtx 3070. And for cooler can I'll just use my be quiet pure rock 2 fx black coz at malaysia price for aio is insane 😅😅😅
So it’s released now ? You say you have one in the video
They are lowering prices because, as Steve so eloquently put it, it is a waste of sand. The take away is, skip this generation and keep what you have or get a 7800X3D.
upgrading every generation is ridiculous
Not good I will pass
Нормальные титюны
I am planning to go for Ryzen 9 9900x
My 3600 in the mean time: 🥲
Useless bench...non 3d vs 3d cpu....😂😂😂😂
AMD cannot even beat their own product, what a shame😂😂
What are you on about? The 9700x competing with 7800x3d.
1. It's a 700 variant vs 800 variant.
2. It's X3D vs Non x3d.
Are you intel braindead? I think so.
7800x3d past 1080p has always been a loser of a cpu especially at the prices Welcome to Intel 13th/14 gen performance where it matches AMD’s best or beats it
*ALL OF YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!! The 7800X3D ONLY supports up to 6,800MHz ram. The 9700X supports up to 7,600MHz ram. Benchmark the 9700X with 7,600MHz ram and it will be up to 5% better than the 7800X3D in gaming. Look at AMD's page. It shows the 7800X3D ram support MAX and the same goes for the 9700X. It supports much higher ram frequencies. WOW!!!! How does ANYONE even have the audacity to speak about twch with knowing what they are talking about???*
*The 9700X beats the 14700K/KF, which is insane.*
AMD literally told us to benchmark it this way. You have zero clue what you’re talking about. This is the memory we were given for the review. Might need to calm it down.
Good old fake benchamarks. It's slower than 7700X lmao
What
Motherboard difference seems like
Except it's not slower than 7700X, where did you pull that? 🤣 and it uses way less power too
@@TheLapari its about the same as a 7700x and it uses the same power to around 140 watts. that 65 watts crap is not what it runs at..
@@turboimport95 you haven't seen the benchmarks then. It uses 20% less power and always has better fps than 7700X and better score on every program...
Zen 5 is a joke
Lmao, you're a little lost it seems! You'll find intel in court room 1. 🤡
ryzen 9000 is a joke
244. 8 minute, not bad
You don't compare the 8 series with the 7 series...7(8)00, 9(7)00.
6 is low end, 7 is mid-high gaming, 8 is high end gaming, 9 is productivity
Huh? lol. They’re both 8 core CPUs. That’s not how AMD’s CPU marketing is. It’s an 8 because it’s the X3D chip. It’s literally the X3D version of the 7700X.
7 and 8 classes are the same except for slight clock differences

Zen 5 spec is dissapointing, it has same boost clock and lower base clock compare with zen 4.
Most people doubt 16 ipc is real and i believe most performance increase come from faster ddr5 support.
Zen 5 is refresh not upgrade, in my opinion zen 4 to zen 5 is worst than intel 13th to intel 14th. They should called it zen4+
You don't know anything about this situation. 😂😂 That was incredibly ignorant.. I can't even bring myself to elaborate.. maybe someone else will enlighten you

@@christophermullins7163lol what do you meant?
13th to 14th is worse because it still blows up 😅
7000 to 9000
lower temp, lower tdp, and yahh kinda disappointing to some because of slight performance gain but the good thing is it does not blows up 😂
@@kusumayogi7956 take a look at the power efficiency and temp
So this is why the prices were so low, the Chip sucks, AMD dropped the ball big time

Boring ass comment
Looking at the spec's my ryzen 7 7700x has a base clock of 4.5 to a boost of 5.4. My base clock is faster than them :) and its 2 years old! 2 years ago my cpu was the fastest 8 core in the world! Look that up. look up my 7 7700x from 2 years ago!
