Beautiful Blanket Stitch! ❤❤❤
You do such a great job at crocheting and teaching. Thank you so much. ❤
Beautiful
My grandmother taught me this stitch when I first started crocheting. My first baby blanket used this pattern. ❤
What wonderful compilation of work you have on your site. I've just looked through all 35 pages of your beautiful free patterns. Thankyou for your generosity in sharing them.❤
One of my favorites, so easy to do with crazy texture yarns...learned this as the Paris stitch😊
I love this stitch... has interest but is also simple and relaxing! "Hooked on this stitch"❤

You’re welcome!
Thank you for showing this video. Great pattern and a little different from the Tulip Stitch. Love it.
Thank you!l. It is very similar!
Pretty
Hi thank you very much, i like your patron very much I'm from South Africa
This is my very favorite stitch. I do the beginning a little different. I chain 2, 1 dc in ch 2 sp, ch 2, 1 sc. At the end i sc, and then go to the beginning. This creates a shell on the edges. It was the pattern on the Jamie blanket patern.
Sounds great! I’d love to see a picture of how that looks!😊
So beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very pretty stitch. May I suggest though to have a dark background against a light colored yarn for better visibility. Thank you 😊
Thank you for the feedback! I will do this next time I use a light coloured yarn
Simply irresistible!
Thank you!
This reminds me of corner 2 corner I like it going to have to make a blanket with this stitch
I like that this is easy, fast and pretty. your instructions are clear and easy to follow thank you
Would this work out good using Red Heart Ombré?
I love the tutorial! I was wondering if there is any way to to a border on this so you think without it warping and curling the blanket?
great video
I am a beginner, but I am having a hard time following. I appreciate you taking the time out to share. I apologize.
Press the settings and slow the play speed
I have a question. I'm making a blanket for my daughter but I didn't realize that i only made it 3 1/2 feet wide and i wanted it to be 5 feet wide. Is there a way to make it wider without putting a crazy wide boarder on it? I'm already 3 skeins in and I really don't want to rip it all out and start over. Can you help me with this please. Thank you!
What yarn are u using please
What is a recommended boarder for this blanket stitch
?
Hi I’m doing the same pattern same hook and yarn, my blanket is longer than yours why?
What's the name of this stitch? So pretty.
Hi when doing the 124 length is a full 124 or 125 to make it level?
When you skip 2chs you work into the 3rd chs?
yes i worked in 3rd chain 1st row was 124+1 so 125 came even for me
I am not clear on how you finished the first row before you turned your work.
To end the first row, complete the repeat (2dc, ch2, sc) in the last chain. Ch 3, and turn
Thanks for asking …. I was wondering the same thing !
Is there a border pattern for this blanket
Is there an actual name for this stitch? It's kinda crazy that I just came across this tutorial you posted yesterday, after searching several days for one like it. My mom passed away February last year and a stitch very similar to this had become her favorite stitch for baby blankets. I had learned one that is very similar as well, but I liked the edges on hers better because they naturally formed a border instead of a straight edge as mine did, eliminating the need to add a separate border. Yours creates a border too but a slightly different one. Basically, they're all 3 the same 2 dblc, ch2, 1 sc stitch but each finishes a row a little differently. Anyway, this has become one of my favorite stitches as well because its so simple but creates such a pretty fabric that's a little airy but not overly holey. I made 2 beautiful baby blankets with it last year for my 2 new grandsons born 2 months apart, the first born 1 month before my mom passed away and the other 1 month after she passed. So, long story just to say thanks for posting the tutorial and to ask if you know the name of the stitch, which would've helped immensely when I was searching for the pattern.😊
Im so sorry to hear about your mom, but I’m happy to hear that this stitch is what you’ve been looking for. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of this stitch as I’ve been using it for a long time.
@@leeleeknits That's ok, I appreciate your response. Maybe someone else will know the name and comment. It doesn't seem like a common stitch because I've watched a lot of TH-cam crochet videos, in general over the years since I'm always seeking out new patterns and projects as an avid crocheter, but also recently and on a few other occasions seeking out this stitch in particular.
Thanks again!
@@KatarinaS. I believe it's called the Paris stitch, I love it too..
Teje muy rapido ! Pare e que no quiere compartir !!
Hi, I am new to your channel. I love this beautiful pattern. I just have one problem, and that's with the sides. I tried to do the same technique you did with the top, but no luck. Please Help! Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent. Bella.

What are the dimensions of the baby blanket?
Finished blanket measures: 35.5” wide X 45.5” long.
frustrating to not SEE where you are placing your hook for the second row....took four tries...I hope it's right.
I think it would be easier to see if the background was darker.
Lovely, what is the name of the stitch? Or you just call them dc and sc?
It’s not clear how you ended the first row .
Not very clear the row 2 so confused need to show it better
I feel if you say each stitch you make you would be a better teacher your voice is great but I loose you one a couple stitches as I noticed in the comments
