I made my friend one in a purple ombre, she loved it. She couldn't believe I made it, she thought it was store bought because it was so nice. Now I'm making myself one. I love the pattern cause the edges are easy to keep straight which we know can be a problem.

I love to watch how people crochet (technique) and I could see you use your left hand to wrap around the hook sometimes. It seems like quite a bit of work (for me) because I'm used to a certain way, but you do yarn over with your hook in other stitches without the other hand. I was fascinated watching your technique! Wish I could emulate how some people crochet but I guess we get used to what we've learned as children or when we first learned. My style is like holding a pencil called the Elizabethan Crochet technique. Thank you for sharing your skills. Your work is very nice! :)

Hi Laura! Very pretty scarf. I was just wondering, how many yards of the dk weight yarn did you use? I want to know bc I have 4 balls of dk and want to know if I have enough to make a scarf. I'm currently addicted to making infinity scarves 😁 Thank you 🧶💛🧶

I have a question about this pattern, not so much the actual pattern, but the materials? May I ask the measure of the hook and thread you used? You seem to be using a thinner yarn and by association a small enough hook fit for said yarn, yes? If say I wanted to use a thicker yarn and by association, a thicker hook, would the pattern still apply as you've done it? Would the effect still be the same or does this pattern look much better with thinner yarn?

Add a row of normal stitches, where the edge dips use larger stitches, where it peaks use smaller stitches, this will flatten out the edge

@@heatherwilkins6058 I'm in the UK too but work with US terms. For me they are easier to understand than UK. UK ones are so complicated. Just because we are in the UK doesn't mean we HAVE to use UK terms. Just use what feels right for you, asking others why they use certain terms is just rude imo. You do you! We will do us!
