  • Learn how to crochet this SUPER easy, ONE BALL Lace Shell Scarf - it can be a normal flat scarf or a looped infinity scarf. It's so quick and simple to make, a great one for gifts our yourself!
    I'm using one ball of King Cole Riot DK in shade Waterlily from here: bit.ly/30RN0WT
    I chained 28 + 4 and my finished scarf is long enough to wrap around the neck twice. You can adjust the width by doing multiples of 7 then adding 4 to the end of your chain.

    I’m intrigued with the first stitch on each row giving height of a double crochet. I’ve crocheted for years and I have never seen this stitch done! Does it have a name? I absolutely love the looks of it and I am making many of these scarves to give away to the homeless. Thanks for this wonderful pattern!

    Could I use the straight edge method you used here on the cluster v stitch scarf ?

      @@BlossomCrochet how would it work as on the lacy shell stitch pattern you work into the top of the 2 double crochet stitches and in between the v stitches

      @@BlossomCrochet please can you just explain to me how I would do the straight edge on the cluster v stitch please as I'm ready to do this and the pattern is slightly different to this one ?

    • @BlossomCrochet
      @BlossomCrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      For the Cluster V stitch - instead of changing 3 at the beginning you would work up that first stitch like in this video and then jump straight to the first half of your cluster V stitch in the chain space 🌸

      @@BlossomCrochet I've done it differently to how you've said to do it and I've also put a single crochet row on after so I can do the twisted fringe.

    Is there a place to find the printed pattern? I'm trying to use a pattern alongside the video so that I can learn to use printed instructions.

      I made my infinity scarf in a few hours, but the thicker the yarn and bigger the hook the faster it’ll be ☺️❄️

    Agree wholeheartedly about American terms and also the way one has to watch cast on, chain,measuring etc. before the nub of the video begins. Very frustrating.

    I wish you could go slower when explaining the last row where you made the scarf have an even edge. Hard to see where to place the hook. Otherwise great video. Kathy
