@William Child it’s impossible to know for sure what adjustments need made without seeing a video of your shooting but oftentimes players get away with slapping the puck or ball off the ice while that really doesn’t work on the ice. On the ice it’s important to establish downward force into the ice behind the puck in order to flex your stick and properly snap a puck. Of course, it could be something else but that is the most common struggle I see with players transition from roller/Dek to ice hockey.
