my passat has no electric mirrors. Is it possible to fold the mirrors manually, I tried but it doesn't work. I wouldn't want anyone to get stuck in my rearview mirror in the parking lot
I have the same question, the mirrors don't seem to fold using force.
Please let me know if you find the solution.
@@matejbolta I found, they can still be folded, try to lift them a little from the bottom and feel free to push harder and it will fold. a stronger force must be used. without fear it will not break
the exterior is passat variant but interior is something else, which car exactly is this?
How wide is the car when the mirrors are retracted?
The mirrors should lower themselves without the extra step of switching the knob to R or L
The way I understood it was that this is only required if you want to adjust the lowered positon. If you go to reverse they go to the position automatically
methei : but, When I go to Drive, it don’t auto to old position, if I want I must switch the knob to 0

@@polaris700efitwin dude I've found one but it's for the B8 and I have B8.5 but I bought the car from Russia and it has a Russian manual and my Russian isn't so good

nope vw passat infortainment system does my head in, so i had fully removed and got a way way better cooler head unit installed and unlike vw unit i don,t have to pay anyone for apps or app use or any rubbish like that, come vw get with teh times, why would anyone pay you to use apps when there are so many apps around for free and better and smarter and better looking and graphical.
sorry but for me vw the infortainment system is a headache and the nav, its all reversed to input say a postcode or zip code if your prefer, it should not be that complicated to use entertainment, no way osay. So its gone bye bye, nada, so long, you out of here and since my new system installed and bigger screen and way way way cooler and fully loaded gues what no headaches at all, it simply works job done.
I dont understand that in a car that is over 40k euro, electric folding mirrors are a premium you have to pay for extra. This is just greedy
