Everytime I listen to Entrancing I feel like I'm taken to a faraway fantasy land going on an adventure. It's like I'm in a trance and an animated movie playing inside my head, and it's story is being told as the song passes. The title "Entrancing" says it all. ❤️
Man, Sua's song is 100% my favorite overall on the album. I missed Rapper Sua dearly. Siyeon casually drops an Inuyasha end theme, based of her to do so. And Yoohyeon casually drops the new InSomnia Christmas Anthem. Also Dami's entering her Punk phase, and Gahyeon and Jiu do songs that are 100% expected of them. What I didn't expect was Dongie's last acapella line in Chinese. It sounded so GOOD. Gives me the ASMR tingles every time.
Yoohyeon’s solo just blew me away. I don’t know why though as she is my favorite idol period, but she still manages to floor me every time. I could just listen to her sing all day.
Yoohyeon channeled that Michael Bublè and I am here for it. Siyeon gave me that epic beautiful history film song, LoFi Dongie left me speachless. Sua said she's a total package artist. JiU made me want to be a puppy named Cherry. Gahyeon hit me with that sweet 🧁🧁 feeling and Dami brought me back to high school
Fun fact: According to the members, Winter is not actually Handong's proposed solo to be released since the song that Handong let them hear actually sounded like a Chungha or 2pm's song. So Handong had two songs prepared but went for Winter to be released instead. And with that, I wonder how the song that was supposed to be Handong's solo sounded like. I want to hear it. The members said it was a fun and lively song so they were shock when Handong came out with a different song👁️👄👁️
Been waiting for this. The Chinese characters for Winter 寒冬 are actually pronounced “Han Dong” in Chinese (same pronunciation as her actual name 韩东）so her solo track is literally her name in Chinese as well. Clever queen.
All Dreamcatcher members have another levels of vocal, dance and rap in global as well K-pop. Especially, Siyeon is amazing and fantastic ! Siyeon's song seems to be listening to the historical K-drama OST that reflects traditional Korean musical elements. I'm so ecstatic, I don't want to wake up. 🤩 Thanks.
Back in early 2020, after Siyeon's "Paradise" dropped, the members were asked during "Scream" promotions about more solos. They all said they were interested in doing solo songs; Dami's was already working on hers (I believe it eventually became "Butterfly") and Yoohyeon was penciled in after that. Of course, the pandemic happened and plans had to change - but it was awesome seeing the company circle back to letting the members have solo expressions, even if these aren't promoted singles. The fact that all of the members contributed to their songs is a big plus and shows how interested they are in these sorts of personal songs. With tour ticket/merchandise revenue supporting Dreamcatcher Company again, we can hope that perhaps later this year or in 2023 the members will be able to have proper solo debuts in between Dreamcatcher comebacks.
I don't trust people who don't feel attacked by SuA's song, it's an abuse how this song is so good Dami got back to early 2000 and talked with Avril Lavigne andade that song, that punk vibe is what I needed in my life now. Album of the year in april? I'm on it
When I tell you how I was attacked and disrespected by Sua’s solo. The woman is insane. She just went from DC bias to ult for me with No Dot. And the choreo.. 😍 I really love Yoohyeon’s and Handong’s solos too, but honestly they all slay.
The opening of Dami's solo was giving me Basket Case by Green Day. lol This whole album slaps. They never disappoint and always come to snatch wigs left and right!
When I had my first listen, Entrancing stood out for me. So pleasing to my ears. Very OST-ish. Animation song ghibli-ish. After going through a few more times, For was just eargasmic, and like you said, felt like caressing my ears. These 2 are now for me, at the very top among these solos. Not saying the rest are bad, they are good and are much better depending on the vibe that you wanna have.
dude you need to react their performance too.. especially sua and yooh.. ofcourse all of them have a nice performance too but my top recommended their two, basically from your reaction
