Starlight is THAT song from this album. Every single time, without fail, Leez and Ollounder give us that one good-ass synth track, and once again, we are blessed with this dance club gloriousness.
After a few days, Starlight remains my favorite song on the album.
I'm a sucker for 80's synth and this is actually pretty much a Synthwave song and I adore it.

I was expected to like "Locked Inside A Door" when i first heard the medley but "Starlight" caught me completely off guard.
"Together" is a piano-house/dance track and I am LIVING FOR IT!! Aside from kpop, I mostly listen to house music. My two worlds colliding 🔥

"Always" concert performance was extremely emotional. Sua said afterwards that she had to keep looking at the ceiling, because if she looked at the audience it would have been water works time for her. 💗

Always has quickly become one of my absolute favorite DC tracks. It's been on repeat.
Starlight is do goddamn good, definitely my top10 DC songs contender. However, I would totally fancy another chorus after that bridge/outro, with some unholy crazy adlibs by Siyeon and Yoohyeon, maybe even the english "sunshine and moonlight" part by Dami/Handong as a background as well. Finished by suddenly cut out synth instrumental outro. That might have been so freaking amazing.
All of the songs are amazing but I feel like most of them were cut short or something. Even the solo's lacked an extra chorus at the end except for the ballads. I don't know if it was a conscious stylistic choice or something else.

Their album was called 'Apocalypse : Save us' for a reason, it literally meant for us Somnias who barely survives the struggles of every attacks they have made!
I hope someday that I will be able to attend their concert and experience them sing “Always”
You def have to watch the live Always. So touching and special!
City pop is more along the lines of songs like "Alldaylong" from their last comeback or "Say Something" by Twice. Usually has a lot more funk elements. Starlight is very much synthwave and like you I absolutely fell in love with it. That second verse with Dami is sooooo good. Her low melodic voice with that synth behind her! I lost my mind. And the ending portion of the song is to die for
I always mix the 2 genres & have trouble differentiating. Tbh I love both

you should do all solos as a first listen with lyrics in one video. they will most likely release all solos as special clips at some point after promotions are over. you can check those out again individually when they get released. 😁✌️
stream captures of the all performances from the concert including the solos have also found their way to youtube. 😉
