The problem with Indian communist states of Kerala and west Bengal is that the policy of atheism, rationalism was embraced as their main motto. As far as I can tell, the lions & rotary clubs were part american empire, began somewhere in the state of illinois. They were put together purportedly to serve the society but in Bharat, they have lost their purpose. Most people in Bharat who are part of these clubs are highly westernized & do not give two hoots about serving the society. I dare say, organization like RSS, although not perfect, has far better discipline, objective, patriotism and sagacity than these clubs.

Swamiji is one of the brave people, who can talk like this in public forums and he has been doing this ever. In fact, I remember, every time during his hour-long satsang, he would always find time to take questions, in the end, on Sanathana Dharma and talk about how to establish that in our modern society, especially in Kerala. Could not thank him enough for that. But to Rajiv ji, it should be noted that, there are many Ashrams and Dharmic places where you can find like-minded people. The vast illegal encroachment of land, and people's mind by jihadi and missionary forces has destroyed the age old culture, language, tradition, knowledge etc. The reason behind Ashrams not getting into this, as prolific as Swamiji, might be because they just don't want to get into an unnecessary fight with the people or the pseudo-secularist Govt. I wouldn't put it beyond the Christian orgs actually causing these "natural calamities" in order to collect donations now that FCRA is becoming a little more difficult. It could be another way of getting money for conversion.

Very worrying situation. Swamiji successfully destroyed the myth of Kerala brand of secularism. He also exposed the arrogant intellectual pretentions and presumptions of the leftists. All seems well on the surface in Kerala; beneath it is simmering. Parts of Kerala are powder-kegs waiting to explode. A few days back, a hard-core CPM politician spoke of the links between the Maoists and the Jihadi factions. A very dangerous cocktail indeed. Higher education in the state is rotten to the core and is, for the most part, a joke. Universities and colleges are largely under the control of the CPM or of minorities. The state largely thrives on Gulf remittances. Most of the grains and other food items come from neighbouring states. Unemployment is at an all-time high. Time that Keralites come to grips with the truth of their situation instead of parroting statistics and repeating clichés like Kerala model etc. Time to wake up and smell the coffee.

To the kind information of people of India residing in other states. In case of any calamity like flood which we saw in 2018 and 2019, please do not donate anything to any collecting points, both govt and private, because not even 10% of it will reach the affected people. Two years we saw the relief materials and money diverted and reaching the hands of CPM party workers and in wrong hands. Its my sincere request to identify the victims and hand over personally, whatever you wish to contribute. Nowadays we do not have impartial state heads as it used to be in the past. All wrong doings are happening right under the nose of state govt officials and party workers.

Well You should not expect them to encourage to donate to religious organizations who are running conversion business, either way.
