I don't know the full story because I haven't wanted sky in a looooooooong time but I mean you cheat on a guy with seven other guys and then HE doesn't get to see his kids wtf? Who are these "friends" anyways? I really want to know what actually happened between Sky and his girlfriend because there has to be more to it. Still, feels bad man, I can relate to going through some shit and it does help to vent and share your problems with a community who cares about you so I don't blame him for anything he posted. I can't blame him for not pretending to be happy to maintain views. Hope he figures things out. Not gonna like,m though, I don't know the whole story but idk what excuses cheating on a man that much and taking his son away, like if you don't love him talk about it like grown ass people with some ammount of respect for eachother, try to fix things, and if all else fails get a divorce and let the damn kid see his father once in a while. It's not only a disservice to sky but the kid.

When you compare this video to the recent developments in this case, you can really see how this man was able to twist and turn his whole fanbase and his own friends. I've read through people's claims and their story and it was saddening especially for Elizabeth where she was physically hurt by him. I was like 6 and I shared a love of him with my older brother. I haven’t seen my brother since I was 12 and now the little memories of watching skydoesminecraft with him are now bittersweet. Crazy how I have a license and a job but it still kills me that my childhood is tarnished like that.

I actually met Sky online once. I had just made a new character in Star Wars: The Old Republic and was on the starting planet when he introduced himself in World Chat and said that he had just started and was checking to see if SWTOR was a good game to make videos on. I crossed paths with him and he challenged me to a duel. I kicked his butt, but to be fair he probably didn’t fully know how to play the game yet, whereas I had already made several characters. He said “good fight!” and we went our separate ways. I found his channel afterwards and watched some of his videos, but they just weren’t to my tastes. Anyway, that’s still the closest I’ve ever been to meeting a celebrity. It’s a shame to see what has happened to him now.

A while ago I wanted to go on a nostalgia trip, starting with the Prison Escape videos, but finding Sky’s videos turned out to be really hard. Eventually I found him again and saw that things hadn’t gone so well.

Right? I think as we grew up, and took in more knowledge of the world, we started to understand these were actual people, with lives just as complex as ours. Im pretty sure the old Minecraft TH-camrs, sky, deadlox, Ssundee, stampy, Iballisticsquid, antvenom, huskymudkip, Mitch (Bajancanadian), Jerome and etc. started to slowly accept the fact that their audience, we're growing up, and we would slowly start to understand the problems they were going through, and why they weren't as lively as back in the day. Its a sad fact I accepted. Minecraft still lives on but through newer faces. It won't be the same, but it lives on. I just hope they are able to find happiness, as we did through watching their videos as children, and even now. Have an amazing day : )

I didn’t think it was funny at all. It was desperate... it was the same audio like bashur, but the context on both (sky’s and bash), it really sets the humor on each side if you do laugh at it, dark, or mid humor.

I remember when I discovered sky by watching his Minecraft mod showcases. They were hilarious and always left me in stitches when I was a kid, and now I can't even go back to those videos because I can't unthink about the happy-go-lucky Adam that was in those videos versus now. I didn't even know he was going through psychosis and stuff until many years after I stopped watching him. I admit I didn't watch him as much when he changed content but I did not unsubscribe because I thought I'd check it every once in awhile, but suddenly I found myself looking at a stranger when I saw one of his update videos. "This is not the Adam I remember..." I was contemplating whether I should unsubscribe for a while until I saw what he did to Ross. That was the tipping point for me, I unsubscribed and wept because this was just another piece of my personal childhood that had crumbled into a corrupted mess. So yeah, this is just depressing for me, and I hope he gets better. Your fans miss you Adam and we're worried about you.
Also this is not the first video I saw on Skydoesminecraft. I just thought I'd clarify that because I don't know if this video is going to get into the fact that he was doing weed and it made him go into psychosis, doing some very crazy stuff. I can't watch anymore of the video right now.

@@nicolasbolas2247 In a nutshell Ross had never mentioned why he stopped collaborating with Adam but Adam just out of the blue (I believe in a live stream) had mentioned Ross in a sort of semi-passive-aggressive negative light relating to why he stopped collaborating. This causes a bit of a big blow up towards Ross constantly asking him why he left and why he is no longer friends with Adam and it was a bit chaotic. But Adam didn't truly tell the truth about why Ross left and the reason for that is is because Adam made Ross sign a contract relating to the original house owner TH-cam channel over to Adam basically Adam manipulated him into signing over his TH-cam and other social media is related to house owner. And because Ross had signed that contract he had to make a whole new social media. In short Adam had been manipulating all of Sky media "employees" to do the same thing. It’s very insensitive and disrespectful to label his depression as a “burden” to his fans. People cannot help their mental health conditions. You should re-evaluate how you view people with mental illness. That kind of attitude puts people off seeking help or talking about how they’re struggling.

Technically it’s not always bad to discuss your mental health on your channel, but it depends on your audience. A Minecraft channel probably doesn’t have a high older audience. A more adult audience may be more supportive of the mental health talk.

Deadlox, IballisticSquid, more conroversial figures such as Lionmaker and Bashuverse etc. There's so many once massive content creators you could cover in this series. It's incredibly nostalgic to see our childhoods once more all for that to just disappear in a matter of seconds. It leaves a sombre taste in the mouth and it's truly unfortunate.

Perhaps opening up to his audience, and receiving support from them, was his way of coping with what was happening to him. With the amount of wealth this guy earned he probably should have spent some money on therapy.... The fact that he kept bringing up depressing shit and having a mental breakdowns tells me that he wasn't seeing anyone. I never understand why youtubers constantly turn to their fans for help when they could easily afford professional care. The only thing he didn’t have was help which is what allowed this video to be created in the first place. I get people are greedy and always want more, but he could obviously see his channel was dying. If he wanted to keep making money he would have cooled it but he couldn’t cause his mental state kept getting worse. Some people do use their issues to get money, but this guys life just went to shit and he didn’t do anything to stop it. Hence why his channel is dead.
As a guy who suffered from mental health problems all my life therapy is 1000% the move, internet fans are about as useful as tits on a ball if you mind my Aussie slang.

I agree with this all the way but considering the fact that there was mostly an appeal to the younger generation as well as more people trying to find entertainment rather than a sob story, it would make sense his content would decline. Unfortunately that's the way things are, certainly there were those who cared but the majority just didn't want to hear it.

Rude as it was, the comment was still right. Sky was short-sighted in revealing his personal life and came off as someone who was desperate for validation, which I can sort of understand since it was a very troubling situation he was in. But, his fanbase was a bunch of kids, wtf did they know about and, frankly, care about some guy's child custody battle and relationship problems? All they knew was the happy go lucky guy who made Minecraft videos, not this depressed man who thought that if he opened everyone would just understand and agree with him. So, when that disappeared, they unsubscribed and found another youtuber to fill that role. It's unfortunate but that's just how the platform works. Really, Sky's downfall was caused by good intentions that were badly executed.

This was a great video explaining until the end, you left out how the mother usually gets custody in court so, in order to get his son back he needed to use his platform to try and speak on what’s going on, he couldn’t get his son back without sacrificing what made him whole simply because he loves his son more than anything, Mabye that’s why he got back with her after she already cheated and talked to how many dudes, really sad story, love your videos keep making my sad nostalgic memories come back 🖤🖤🖤
