Thank you, this was amazing! My same year and model, I would have taken the car somewhere until I saw this video! I would say it took some effort to get the bulb out of the socket, but this video made the process a breeze
Great video. I was about to take my Corolla to the mechanic. I wonder what he would have charged? I’m glad I came across your video. I easily did it myself. A little cramped for space on the drivers side but with a little patience the job got done. Thanks for posting.
First of all, thank you so much for posting this useful maintenance video! I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla S and would like to know if its absolutely necessary to remove the car battery to change the driver's side bulb. Thank you in advance for your prompt response Mr. Maintenance Man.
@@TheMaintenanceMan I just did it on the drivers side and, while it was more obstructed than the passengers side, I did not have to remove anything to fit my (large) hands in and get just enough leverage. Thanks for the video!
I have this exact same car and this was a perfect guide. This helped me change both bulbs out very quickly.
Just saved myself a trip to the service center over a headlight, thanks!
Most detailed vid I found. Thank you
Thank you so much for taking the time to make and share this vid!

It’s not necessary if your willing to work in tight spaces with patience. Otherwise removing the battery isn’t as big of a job as you might think.
He should have shown the drivers side where you have to remove a couple things.
Thanks for the feedback but I did not encounter removing anything myself.

Glad to know the video helped. Thanks for the feedback.
Me when the socket is burnt not the bulb 😂
Wow that looks so easy! Can you see every things easily or did the camera view just make it look that easy?
It was quite easy to see. Getting the camera to see what I could was tricky but I got a decent view I thought.
Sweeeeeet!
I have the exact same car except it’s Ruby red and it has over 330,000 miles on it
What kind of bulbs are needed?
The bulb used in the video was a 9006 Sylvania XtraVision.
Thanks for the video. Can someone please provide a description of what type of bulb is needed for the Corolla?
What year is your Corolla?
Its a 2007, but I found the information in the manual: bulb # 9005, 55W. Thanks
Is 9006 for low or high beam? Thanks
Low
Mines 07 but my car battery is in the way... for my drivers side headlight
That’s the case sometimes. Probably going to have to pull the battery to get in there. Be safe.
I notice you changed the easy side.
Good eye. It made for better camera angles. Hope the video helped. Have a great weekend.
I'm getting the brightest whitest headlights I can buy since all these new cars want to blind me ill do it to
Um..
Drivers side
You will need to remove the battery to access it but it’s the same process as the video.
Arabic or hebrew?
Hebrew.
