I bought a 2004 Carolla with 100,000 miles on it just before Christmas. Yesterday, since it was a bit warmer, I changed both low beam builds and polished the lenses. I installed Sylvania Silver Star Ultra bulbs. I used Maguire's PlastX on the lenses. The lenses are now almost as clear as new. What i found with the bulbs is that it was absolutely necessary to disconnect the plug first on hith sides. The wire is short enough to make the job almost impossible without doing so. When installing the new bulbs, i did so before plugging the in the bulb. Doing it that way took under 5 minutes each.

What kind of bulb should I use to replace the Daytime Running Light in my 2010 Corolla? Is it the same as the low beam bulb, like the 9005?
Lasfit. And use Lasfit - anti flicker kit so ur high beam/drl don’t flicker.
Because that can reduce the lifespan and it harms it.
Don't you clean the thermals Before hooking up the battery. Or shade them with erosion spray.
Great on showing the process of changing the bulbs. But clean the dirt and rust away!!!
You are correct. I should have mentioned that at least to clean it up.
This video was only focusing on headlights, NOT cleaning of the battery. He did this as the video would be unnecessarily long.
