The new Samsung Galaxy S24 series has launched and here is the scoop on the flagship Ultra!
The new line includes the s24 s24 plus and s24 ultra, and there are some key spec bumps, and tonnes of new features, but the biggest theme of the day is AI! From AI photo editor, which allows you to drag and drop, and resize people, animals, and objects in your photos, edit suggestions based on AI, where the phone will prompt you on how to improve your images, and AI generates slo-mo, which will instantly slow down video auto adding frames that never existed to keep the footage still really nice and smooth!
samsung has also partnered with Google, for the world's first Circle to search feature, where you can circle a point of interest In a photo and or video and allow the magic of Google search to find the exact location with additional extended information
You can now live translate calls and texts, so you can now converse with someone only fluent in another language, and did I mention the spec bumps?
All 3 phones will be powered by the Qualcomm snapdragon 8 gen 3 for Galaxy chip, if you are in the US and China, but in some regions like Europe only the ultra will have this hardware, with the standard and plus models getting the Exynos 2400 chip.
All models now have flat displays, gone are the famous curves, but there is a familiar feel to the camera, apart from a new 50MP periscope telephoto lens giving optical lossless zoom quality at 2 3 5 and 10x
Available in 4 Colours, grey violet yellow, and black, and starting from 799, 999, and 1299.

It's awesome that Samsung is jumping on the 7yrs of support bandwagon. I can definitely see people holding on to their Samsung device longer then someone with a Pixel Device.

@@jasonmelo9379 yeah I'm locked into an installment plan with AT&T and can't trade it in til I pay off half of it. Once that's done I'm going back to Samsung. I'll miss the Android Beta's and being the first to get updates but I really miss my Samsung phone.

It's an incremental upgrade at best. Flat screen , 2600 nits, snapdragon gen 3. I'll wait for the z fold 6 and hope they use the best prototype designs and give it 100% to be as good or better than the Huawei mate x5 and Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche edition as first large foldable w integrated s pen.
Ill buy... By the end of the year, if Samsung phones are known for something other than quality is that their prices fall hard... Like really hard after a few months

The trade-in deals with Samsung Australia is just nutts! I've just placed the order for a S24 Ultra, Traded in my s22 Ultra 1tb with the S24 ultra titanium violet 1tb. I got the Samsung bud2 pro and a silicone case for free with the instant e-store discounts of $350. Also, the 1tb phone pre-order price is the same as the 512gb model which brings is down by $400. In total I got a discount of $1675 plus Samsung store credit of $59 that I already had. And I've paid $1462.78. I think that's a really good deal and worth waiting 2 years for the upgrade.

45W fast charging???? OMG it's 2024 Samsung, I love the 120W fast charging on my Xiaomi and I don't even use the 120W boost, it charges at around 90W and it almost lasts me 2 days TBH AND only takes 30 ISH minutes to charge, it's one of the reasons I switched brands.

Be Aware in the fine print Samsung states that their AI is free UNTIL 2025. After 2025 it is not free and is available by subscription.

@@SkyserAspili Samsung is using a cloud for AI so it is not solely based on the hardware of the device. So it is my understanding that the subscription would be for the cloud that is used for the AI search of data.

People need to be upset about this launch. Not because of the great hardware Samsung rolled out, but they didnt mention the AI features they talked about more than anything else require a subscription after 12 months.
Oppo Find X 7 Ultra has a better camera
It would be perfect with at least 80-100W charging (charger IN the box), 16gb/ram, a vegan back and 160 Hz refresh rate.

More of an overview than a review
Samsung learn a few things from Apple and now focusing on refinement. Phones have reached their peak and now is the age of refinery.
For me it is a big NO. No 10x no s24 ultra I will keep my s21 ultra and find something elsewhere difrent Brand. If it ultra should be all ultra. Not 1 cam 200mp the 10 mp then 50 and noooo 10x just a poor 5x
