Hey man appreciate this video. Im actually about to buy a duke 200 and this really informed my decision. I know it's a year+ later, but I hope youre doing better sir!
My condolences on the loss of your brother. I picked up a leftover 2023 KTM 200 @ $1,200 off MSRP. I am having a blast, and turning my little Duke into a Sport Tourer. I am a member of the Iron Butt Association, so my Duke will be heading out for ALOT of miles in a day. 500-1,000 in 24 hours or less... that, my friend, is a long ride!
I just got my 2022 ktm duke 200 and can't wait to get my motorcycle license and license plate next week as well as add it on to my insurance with my mustang. I got my mine for a great deal from a guy that only rode it a few times and it still looks like it came off the dealership floor with that sick orange and black. It's a 2022 as I mentioned and it only has 300 miles on it so it's not even broke in yet and I only gave him $2700 for it.
I got a 2021 Duke 300 for 2900 with 1400 miles on it. When I'm on the freeway, I've gotten to 75mph with it on 7000rpm, not even close to red lining. I've read that you can max it out at 86mph. It's pretty comfortable on the freeway.
Im in debate rn between the duke 200 and the 390 both on sale at my local dealer and just cant decide. I like the price of the 200 but not sure if it will ha e enough power to zip around on the freeway
Personally I think the CFMOTO is better. It's got a better feel and the transmission is smooth compared to the KTM. But I would also say that if you can get a good deal on either, they are both great bikes that will not disappoint you.
How did you install the bar end mirror? there are no opening at the bar end, im curious especially the throttle side. Pls show me the details... Thanks
Just cut the rubber off the bar ends and install these in there. Simple to do. Link to the mirrors is in the description of the video. I no longer have this bike.
In many ways I agree with you. It was such a shock to us, but as time as went on, I realize that we are all going to go someday and I am glad that he never had any long-term diseases on pain. It's made me look at death differently now. I'm not so afraid of it.
Been debating on this and a grom. The grom around me sells for like $800-$1000 less. Is the duke worth the extra almost $1000? The fastest/busiest road I ride is an old highway with speeds of 35-55 throughout, but wouldn't mind something that could hit the highway for just a few exits nothing crazy.
@@ROBSOLUTELY personally what would you rather ride on any given day? If its the duke do you think its worth that extra cash? Appreciate the super quick reply!
@@JP-hn9mv Well... my personal preference may not be yours, but I did love my Grom more than the Duke 200. Nothing wrong with the Duke, but to me, the Grom was more customizable and was always super fun to ride.
@@ROBSOLUTELY I really appreciate that! I understand your preference might not be mine but I just like to pick peoples brains on bikes, especially street bikes as I just got into them this year. I ride a Honda navi as of now and already want something more powerful so naturally I looked at the grom but started looking at other things outside of honda as well and this duke caught my eye! Seems how I'm riding a navi anything will seem like an huge step up! But thanks for your opinion, I would like as many as I can get on the topic so I really appreciate you!
@@JP-hn9mv Check out the CFMOTO 300ss too. I had one and it was great! Actually my favorite bike ever. I wanted more power so that I could easily get up to 80 MPH or so, but I miss the bike. Not expensive either, plus has great tech and is super comfortable and easy to ride.

Awesome! You will love the bike! Doing great here now. Thank you.

Thank you! The KTM Duke 200 was one of my favorite bikes! Sounds like you got one heck of a deal too! Good for you! Ride safe and enjoy it.
Bikes keep us sane. Damn good therapy for me. Gear up and ride.
I'm not sure I was ever sane, but it does make me feel good to get out and ride!! LOL
Remember how he lived. KTM duke 200 is a nice bike in its class.
I think it's the best bike in its class!
Sorry to hear about u’r brother. Watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭, your videos of ur KTM Duke 200 is making me really want to get one 🤘🏻
Thank you! KTM Duke 200 was great! I now have an RC 390 and loving that!
My condolences. I've lost several people but only one was sudden. Anyways, I just bought a Duke 200 a few days ago.
Congratulations on the Duke! My condolences to you as well.
Nice review, sorry to hear of your brothers passing. I'm a rider living just over the NY/PA border I ride through Westfield every once in a while.
Thanks man! What do you ride? I live just down route 15 towards Williamsport. I'm on a CFMOTO 450SS now. Up for a ride sometime.
@@ROBSOLUTELY I have a Versys 300x 2022 , live up in Corning. I usually don't go down farther than Mansfield or Wellsboro.
Kinda want to get a bigger adv bike like a Versys 650 or Vstrom 650 something better with longer rides.
@@538frostrd NICE! I want to ride up through Mansfield, Wellsboro and through Westfield again this year. Trying to get some friends to go with me.

Dude I live in Williamsport and I’m about to drop the money on one, hope to see ya out there!
NICE! Where are you getting it? I'm on a bigger bike now, but we'll still have to get out and ride sometime.
Dude, did I see you today on Lycoming Creek Road? I was in my car, but I saw a Duke 200 ride into Aldi. If that was you, let's ride sometime.
I want to buy 200cc 22 HP.I rarely do highways trip.Do you think this bike is good for other roads.
Yes, it's a great bike for just about any road, other than a super fast highway.
have u heard of yamaha r15, in asia its really popular, it can do speeds of about 80 mph and even more if you weigh a lot less
R15 isn't available in the USA so I have no thoughts on it.
Watching this makes me wanna road tip my 200.
It’s so much fun!

Nice! A lot of riders don't understand how great the Duke is!
Sorry to hear that brother
Im financing a duke 200 my buddy lives in pa I should pass through and hit your account up we could all ride.
I’m gonna be doing a 4 1/2 hour trip to sturgis on my duke 200… my top speed is 80 fully tucked down hill 😂
Wow! That's awesome! I would love to go, but it's too far for me this year.
80?! Really?! I can hit 92mph fully tucked. I just have a leovince slip-on.
Where you from? I’m also 4 1/2 hours from Sturgis
@@gtshub3707I hit 93 on mine maxed out and tucked in as much as I could and I was still holding on for dear life because of the wind lol
Where did you buy your accessories for the bike from?
If you look down in the description of the video, you will find links to them.
love the intro bro.
Thank you always guys!
Go up a tooth on the front sprocket.
Yeah that would give it a bit more. I loved the bike, but I'm riding a CFMOTO 450SS now. It's GREAT!!

Both great bikes, but the 390 will be more capable on the highway. 200 will get there, but the 390 will do it with ease.
Mine has 9 miles on it. 2022. Thanks. Gonna get some insurance tomorrow.
Nice! Ride safe!!!!
Hey man gonna buy my first bike. Would you recommend this or the 300ss. Notice you got both! I know the 300ss is faster but duke is cheaper lol.

I went to order the VOSS 988 MOTO-1 TWO TONE BLACK CODEX HELMET but they didn't have an option for the orange visor. I'm trying to color match
Not sure they offer orange visors... I think they have yellow. Iridium would change colors, or go with smoke or mirror?
@@ROBSOLUTELY I ended up just going to Cycle Gear and getting a Sedici Stratta 2 with the teeth in orange
I am getting mine tomorrow..😇... Delivery scheduled..
Did you get your bike?
Looks like u’r using a wireless mic on your insta360. Is it inside ur helmet?
Yes, I use DJI wireless mics.

@@yengpnoi You are welcome!
I have a 2023 duke 200 would the mirrors you have still fit on mine?
Yes, it's the same design.
@ROBSOLUTELY okay thank you
Shoei, Arai, Schubert and HJC. Outside of these brands walk past the helmet.
Why?
Certainly they are good helmets. Voss is also a great helmet.
I think it’s bc I’m light but iv hit 90 on my duke 200
Could be.
Howdy?!bes ~
Howdy!
it goes upto 91mph 🤷♂🤷♂
Amazing for a small bike. So much fun!
well i can do 87mph in mine
mine too
87 per the speedo, but real world from my garmin GPS, it is about 83 mph
@@agdcougar stupid question, do you have the rev limiter disabled?
@@PerfectSoundRS Yes
Nice!

Hard decision. Groms are so much fun, but the Duke 200 does have more power and is super fun too.
