Yes and no. I've been riding for 20+ years. If you never ride above your current level, you will never improve. The key is to take small bites. Slowly increase your limits and if you feel you have pushed too far then dial it back a little.
Riding wise experience will get you there. 38 years and I learn new things all the time. Best one taught to me on the track is to think of your right hand as a ball bearing and not a hammer. Jerkiness with the throttle in corners makes for unexpected surprises and downshifting hard on KTMs has a tendency to grenade the lower end in short time. My 690 almost threw a plug through my sack being hard on it.
I have the older RC 390, it's a great bike! A few suggestions: don't turn it off from the kill switch, just use the key and also put it in neutral not in first gear when doing so. And at minute 1:50 you almost go too wide because you enter the turn on the inside instead of the outside. Always start on the outside and aim to the apex of the turn. Other than that great content and quality, keep on riding!
Not sure about that. Best to always get use to use the Kill Switch, in an emergency you don't want to be reaching for the key, a switch is just a push of a button, and regarding stopping in Neutral, that is how drops happen a lot, in Neutral the bike moves, in gear it doesn't move ( one learns that from driving a standard shift car). A motorcycle in gear can be parked downhill or up hill, a motorcycle in neutral provides it a potential to move and fold the kickstand , probably 99% of drops occurs that way :D
@@manash.b4892 because you can brake the kill switch by using it too much, and the springs in the kill switch will brake by time and it can cause an accidental shut off. Also in some motorbike models in order to change the kill switch you have to replace the whole handle which costs a lot.

Hi, nice video and sound! I notice you have the SP Connect Moto Mount Pro (with antivibration module) installed on the left handlebar. I wonder wether your mobile interferes with the windscreen when tutning the handlebary max to the right? Also, does the mobile interfere with operating the control switches?
Surprisingly it fits very well, it doesnt intefere at all while riding and it sits high enough that i can still use the buttons, i just cant fully see them (which isent a problem). The only issue is when putting the phone on where the handlebars need to be quite straight otherwise it becomes quite difficult to put on.
The engine is super fun and punchy, i believe it will vibrate more than the rs457 but that is part of the single cylinder experience. My only complaint with the engine is when you let the revs drop too low and it starts to bog down it shakes pretty bad which for a unexperienced rider can be a bit dangerous. I have absolutly no complaints with the suspension, i spent a few hours testing and adjusting the suspension to my liking and it dramatically improved the ride feel (ended up stiffening the suspension over the stock setup). At the moment im experimenting with tires, i have the stock conti`s on the back and michelin pilot sport on the front, but i will change back to the conti`s when the front need changing as they are pretty perfect for this size and type of bike.
