Is there any videos explain the hideous front suspension design and why they went that route? The machine is sick but I’m having a hard time with that front end 🤢 would like to know the why behind it.
Extended suspension life reduced wear and better roll stability... A-arm have longer control length. Why they put the top knuckle right in the way is beyond me

We look forward to getting new stuff every year. Polaris makes new models for everybody no matter what terrain you ride. Business wise, that's how you lose half your customer base. Leave them out. Great way to stay in business.

Personally I'm a big Polaris guy, but one of my best riding buddies loves his Maverick X3 and I have to admit it is fun to drive. Unfortunately for him we ride trails in Wisconsin and Minnesota where the max width for a machine is set at 65 inches. Hopefully you guys can come out with a 64" model with similar performance like Polaris has with the ProXP. Yes these states need to widen the trails, but 77 inches?? Come on.
I'm in Michigan and also a Polaris guy. The trail width is what's stopped me from going with a pro r. Would love to have that power but where would I ride it 🤷🏿♂️

OK can am for us woods rider make 64 and 72 inch know be lil cheaper price point... but I know alot will agree we the people rides woods love get away from the blowing belts and always having keep track of the clutches... be badass have 64 and 72 inch with the 7 speed clutch for the woods and mudding 🤷♂️ I don't know might just be me.
Dang, Can-AM you blew it....I love the DCT and engine questionable improvements, but it ends right there. who cares about a fancy display and graphs if you can't even have 35's on it?... and the price tag of $43k on the XRS, nah, I will keep my XRC RR and put up with the stupid rubber band and clutch system. Until CAN AM makes a proper machine, I will enjoy what I already have. We don't a cute vehicle, we want a real versatile customizable off-road machine!... and please stop using rivets before welding the parts!
I have built two Polaris RZR Turbos had a falling out with the Polaris dealership back in 2018. Went to Can Am since. Have built two different Can Am Maverick X3s. Current built have around 50k into it. After seeing the new Maverick R video I was extremely disappointed in Can Am answer to the Polaris Pro R. Don't get me wrong they did do some decent upgrades to the machine but they could have done alot better. Just looking at the inside of the Pro R its still light years ahead of the Maverick R and the Pro R is 5k cheaper. I can say from what I have seen with the limited videos and the limited information I would be going with the Pro R if I have to choose one today.

trophy trucks have some of the best offroad suspension out there and not one of them has this upper arm or knuckle design why not take notes from that?
Bc trophy trucks are constrained by their bodies. Wheels and suspension can’t protrude from the fibreglass. You couldn’t make this system work with that type of body. Whereas you do see Ultra4 and KOH buggies using similar concepts. Besides, most of the off road race vehicles you point to are built by family race teams or small companies meanwhile BRP is a multi billion dollar organisation with a massively larger R&D budget that also employs members of the above mentioned race teams for testing and feedback. Knowing that, it’s not impossible to conceive how Can Am might just be ahead of the curve on this one. Wouldn’t be surprised if you start seeing suspension design like this pop up more in racing if it’s as effective as they play it out to be.

You haven't improved the Sport or Trail models in 4 years, and by that I mean dumping a bit more power into them. Instead you engineer a whole new car and ignore almost all the rest of the lineup. Also, no retro fit on the LCD screen for other models.

It is gear on gear so I'd assume ~220 in 2x4 or ~8% loss even if I met the pro r because the transmission it would get more to the wheel
