Looks like I’ll be trading my 1000R in on a 25 1000R next year …soooo many improvements!!! I love our 500 in so many ways more than my 1000R XT Outty. 3 Can Ams a Honda and a Suzuki in our stable !

That thing rips i have a 2006 Yamaha Kodiak 450 its enough for me we had to turn it up all the way cause having it turned down was causing damage to the valves it fuckin rips now its been down since last deer season we had to replace the bearings and seals in the rear end then the front end went out the same way
The 2025 base model is 91 pounds lighter than the dps/power steering model. 66lb/ft torque, vs 69lb/ft on the 1000R. The 850 is 999cc. What a great value at 11199.00 us.

I’m ready for something to come along to upgrade to from my x3. Yes I know the R is out but I live on the east coast and can’t use it here. A new side by side still under 70 inches wide would be sweet
The front metal tubing ( not the bumper ) is thin, and the welding still needs improvement. They did address some reliability issues, but still have some shortcomings. They are designed to be appealing, should hold up fairly well for a few years of good riding, with proper maintenance, and preventative maintenance, but the 5-10yr mark may reveal the corner cutting aspects of the build quality.
Glad to see they carried over the rear sunk rack and easy remove side panels from the 700's. that sunken rear rack is amazing for big coolers and the side panels make things insanely nice. But yeah, even better now that there's a 1000 short wheelbase model!
I’m sure you can’t answer this but will the renegade get the 101 hp engine and a new face change at some point ? Maybe even a wider footprint ? Love the new can ams
Long time outlander rider what I’ve noticed in many of the previous models has been pretty consistent and that’s how hot the exhaust gets on the seat. I’ve noticed this especially when pulling a trailer into camp. We go low and slow and this isn’t great for cooling. We have melted many seats. This new one looks like the exhaust goes straight out to the back and I hope this changes this.
Holy shit they did it a short wheelbase 1000xmr!!! That’s now my dream bike! I would actually do anything for one of those! These things are going to rip modded! Can’t wait to hear an exhaust on one!

Access to the engine for oil changes on my 2021 Outlander Max XT-P 1000R is terrible. Also a pain to clean. It's a badass machine but with the good comes a lot of bad.
Zero heat on the legs as the side panels cover the whole area and have good heat insulation. The best access for maintenance out of any machine they have produced

I need an unbiased opinion, as far as durability goes, who does everyone have Polaris or can am?? I've been a Polaris guy for years. But my rzr has disappointed me. I bought it new 2019. 2019 RZR xp41k
Here in New Zealand these Can Ams fail big in front diffs, gearboxes, A-arm bushings, shifter base. On Defenders it's engine dusting, gearbox self Destruction, front diff destruction, steering rack destruction all within 2 years.
Is that a total list of failures from every Can am sold there in last 5 years?🤣🤣🤣. We beat the crap out of them and they hold up excellent for us. Routine maintenance goes a long ways

I know it's a "shirt" frame, but it's still pretty long for an ATV. I think that's a good thing, though, for added stability and a smoother ride.
