I’ve been hoping you’d give us an inside look at the factory making Chapman Guitars! I wish more companies would be as transparent to show what goes on at their factories- not only to see the end result at the store. It’s nice to see some of the smiling faces making the guitars, the process, and all the work that goes into making a great guitar. Totally awesome to see great guitars can be made nearly anywhere these days. That’s a huge win for musicians as it brings the price down while retaining quality with CNC and factories who take pride in producing a fantastic affordable instrument.
Thats really awesome that the factory secured a Katana for you so you can test in a way that makes you feel comfortable. It shows they follow your guitar journey and really strive to get to know you and want you to be happy - if you’re not happy, chances are most customers won’t be either.
I also love that the factory not just lets workings have a lunch break, but actually feeds them freshly cooked food made on-site. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before in any factory of any kind, anywhere in the world. Ever. It shows this factory cares about the well being of their employees. If their workers are happy and healthy, they’ll be able to do more quality work.
Thanks to the factory for being kind enough to let us have a look inside! I love this kind of stuff and truly appreciate it! I hope to own a Chapman someday in my life!

Hey Rob, I just want to thank you. It was my birthday recently and things have been a little rough for us. Two kids to feed and not much money to go around. My wife worked extra, saved enough and surprised me with a chapman. Your videos are my get away and seeing where my most prized posession was made is just amazing. Thank you so much Rob.

They did a fantastic job on my ML3 Traditional.
Sound quality, resonance (sounds great before you plug it in), fit and finish, neck, fret board, pickups (the more I play with the P90, the more I love it), everything! There's nothing I would change.
I will never let it go!

Really impressed with the factory. The precision of the machining and the quality of the hand processes. Also, the workers are well looked after. Guitars look amazing

That was really cool. Guitar factories have come a long way, and, with CNC, the workers on the floor can spend more time on fit-n-finish. Those guys are making some beautiful instruments, Rob. Good choice! And, it's always good to see people who love their jobs, in action. Smiles everywhere, in that place.

Loved watching this. Fascinating insight into some great, enthusiastic people making quality instruments. Having owned a number of "non USA" guitars it's great to see how the South Asian manufactures are giving the Americans some serious competition.

Trev Wilkinson is an absolute gent. Many years back I acquired a seller treble and bass 50 and decided to build a speaker cab myself and he was brilliant at advising on the best cellestion speaker for the job. It was in reality a small profit to him but he spoke with me for ages on the build. He absolutely cares about the music man.
amazingly efficient factory (e.g. the pickup cavity inserts to make the polishing easier and all those templates etc.)

I purchased the Lawmaker from Chicago Music Exchange when they first came in. It is incredible, my favorite guitar I've owned. Fit and finish is perfect and the craftsmanship at this factory seems like a step up from WMI.

I had the pleasure of building a guitar with Trev in SoCal in the early 90s. I still have it and play it. He doesn’t know it but he had a profound impact on me
My ML3 Traditional Tele with the P90 is my best playing guitar, the P90 sounds so good.
Straight out of the box it was set up and intonated with no string buzz or high frets which
are dressed perfectly and everything works as it should, the rolled fingerboard is so comfortable to play. I have smallish hands so the flatter radius fingerboard makes it easier
for Travis picking. The reverse headstock and the sound it produces is one of my favourite
things about this instrument. I love the Radiant Flow green colour and the woodgrain.
The attention to detail is what makes this my favourite guitar to play. Thanks Chappers,
you produce a great quality product at an affordable price.

I think Wilkinson parts are finding their way onto a number of the models. Never a bad choice, really.
