Rob this is exactly why we all love you man! Just so so supportive of your family and friends! And all my best wishes to you Rabea you're going to do great bro! Now time for me to get back to my wife delivering our first born son❤️🥰 Happy New Years to you all!
Hi Rob, could you please tell me when Chapman Guitars will stop manufacturing the ML3 Bea? I was planning on saving up for a ML3 Bea baritone. Thanks and happy holidays!
I'm so proud to have bought the first sig ML3, such an incredible guitar made for an even more incredible artist. I also have Lee's sig guitar, they're so great in every way. I was stuck in a loop hole with my playing and one day I stumbled across the Andertons channel. I found somehow of a family, some kind of teachers and absolutely inspiring personas to push the boudaries of my playing and artistic view of music. Just watching Rabea start from a "Pizza dude" to a guitar hero is so inspiring. If you really want something, make it happen! Thanks Rob for your confidence in what Bea could achieve right from the start!
I just wanna say thank you for the immense amount of support here. It’s genuinely heart warming to read these comments and I’m so grateful. Honestly that’s immense.. so thank you. Just to answer a couple questions. There is nothing going on I haven’t mentioned. I just really felt it’s time to change things up. The main thing I felt was to move on from chapman and see what happens. It really is that simple. Nothing has had to go wrong for me to leave. It’s purely a curiosity for myself and the idea of the unknown is appealing to me at this stage in my career. This is something Rob totally understood and quite honestly encouraged me to do. Offering me to be able to return should I ever choose to. So hopefully that clears it up a bit. Either way, I love you all and thank you for the immense support as always ❤❤ Rabea
Well done, Rob Chapman was dragging you down badly. I think you’d be way ahead of where you are if you’d dumped Chapman 3 years ago, but all that matters is the future. Feel proud that you are no longer in the shadow of such a shady weird man. Hopefully Lee will wise up soon too.
You sir, at least in my eyes, are one of the few guitarists that are keeping the phrase guitar hero alive. You'll do more than fine wherever you land and I'm excited to see and hear it.
Please don’t do a Ibanez signature! They are giving away signature guitars to way to many people and they don’t realize that it makes them look desperate! 😳
Bea, completely makes sense. Following you, Lee, and Chappers for over 8 years, what an amazing journey. Seeing your growth has been both inspiring and motivating in my own musical career and work. Seeing all that you've done with Neural, UA, Frogleap, clothing lines, and what I experience as creating your own community in your own way. Makes perfect sense. Good luck! Excited to see what unfolds over the next year for you and your future endeavors, partnerships, and seeing you follow your dreams!
So glad to have met and spent time with you this year Bea, and I'm certain through being a Chapman Artist you've inspired a great deal of guitarists (many of whom I know!) to pursue music in some form or another. I definitely know the 'moving on for myself' feeling and it's tough but sometimes those decisions have to be made. All the best for 2023, hope to catch you again soon!
A few decades ago, I was your age, Bea. Part of the journey as a human being, a musician and an artist is trying different things; this is an important part of how we develop. Sometimes those crossroads are really hard; I kind of get the impression that this is one of those for you. With your personal friendship with Rob and Lee, it’s probably way more difficult than it would be if it were “just professional”; but moments like these really show who your genuine friends are. Sounds like both Rob and Lee are supporting you and this part of your journey. Friends like that are priceless.
We love you and Hannah and support everything you do. My only question is…. Why is your studio almost empty? Are you moving house? What did I miss? Best of luck in everything you decide! Be well, Brother!
@Mucho Macho its a fair question , he does make videos for us to watch from there. And he has shown off his studio before. So it's just odd to see I think. Was curious myself
The last year/18 months has really had the feel that your career is on the cusp of moving onto another level, and sometimes when you face those moments it's not about leaving things behind, but making room to be able to make the most of what's to come. All the best with the next phase my man.
You were with Chapman for so many years. It’s honestly inspiring to see people moving on and doing their own thing. Change is scary but from experience, it opens so many doors and feels refreshing.
To be honest mate I've thought you've out grown Rob Chappers a long time ago. You've kept yourself honest and behond reproach. I'm suprised you've stayed connected to the Chapman brand for so long. You've been a very loyal friend and a great ambassador.
I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this! I used to love Rob and Lee, but they've made some really bad decisions over the years and haven't handled it the best. Bea is the one guy who never did anything sketchy or made himself look bad. Realistically, the worst he's looked is just because he was attached to Chapman. Really glad to hear he's moving on, the future is bright for this dude. Such a monster player and a great guy
I’ve got your first Bea signature model. I got the chance to meet you and Rob in Seattle a few years ago and you played and signed it. My best to you Bea!
I got back into guitar after pausing for 8 years (work/life) my first video I randomly watched was Anderton’s with Rob and Lee, then came Rabea…. You guys are fundamentally moving the industry into the right direction with appreciation for the craft. Name on the jersey doesn’t matter as long as you guys keep the mission moving forward. Get people excited and obsessed with music again (beginner, professional, garage, world stage) Sincere thank you to these guys and others grinding on these channels day in and day out and getting me back into recording music. keep it up!
I can tell this was a hard message to record. We all start somewhere, and it's never the same place where we end up. You are quite loved and respected - 350k of us agree with me, I'm sure ;) Best wishes to you for 2023
Rabea, I believe you now have an extended family! Thanks for letting us be part of your journey. Please keep us in the loop with your new adventures Very Best Wishes.
You’re an amazing artist Rabea and I among many others truly enjoy what you have to share with us. Life is a journey with many different attractions along the way. Enjoy the ride.
Bless you. After what Rob did to that TH-cam creator a couple years back I've avoided watching anything Andertons, or any TH-cam channel produced if Rob was involved. Bless you for moving on. Best of luck. You're a class act, and you look absolutely fantastic.
Nothing wrong with you being nervous making this video! Just means that you truly care about your relationship with Chapman guitars. You have inspired myself and so many others, keep up the amazing work!
Tons of support here!! I met you at the Cleveland Rock Hall of Fame when you did the tours with Chapman guitars. Good luck with your next adventures!! You got this!!
I am a 61 year old novice player and I can honestly say that you have inspired me to keep learning. Some of the videos of you and Pete jamming are just incredibly good music. I wish you good luck in whatever path you decide to take.
It’s all good! I think. It’s natural for a creative person to try to spread their wings and to try doing something on their own. You’re an amazing talent with a great attitude. I’m sure you’ll be successful at anything you attempt.
I got your Pale Blood and Carthus burst and I'm excited to see what could be a possibility in the future. You are my favorite guitarist in the world, Rabea, and I've watched you grow for so long now. All the love and respect to you for what you've accomplished so far and I'm eagerly waiting for the next thing!
Keeping the good relationship with Rob and Lee is awesome, I like both of those guys as well...good luck on your new adventure and keep up the hard work !!
Your work with dorje is still to this day some of my favorite music ever written. Perfect blend of grace and melody with darkness and grit. Oh what i would do for another album…
Good luck to both of you in all your endeavors. I'm sure you will make more music together in the future, but it's good to step out from under the umbrella of safety once in a while and expand your horizons. You guys are inspiring, talented, good dudes, who love what you're doing and it shows. It helps create the spark so many artists truly need, and it's interesting to see you not locked down into one genre, or idea of this manner in which you like to jam. Peace and love going forward. A sincere thank you both, Rob Chapman, and Rabea Massad !
I have followed you and rob on socials for nearly a decade! I own a Bea signature guitar! I am so excited to see what the future holds for you. Dorje, Toska, all the projects you have been a part of. I see the passion you have for your work. It’s inspiring and it’s what makes keeping up with your content so compelling. Good luck!
Everytime I listen to Dorje or Toska my heart breaks again, especially Dorje. It was such an important band to me together with Toska's first EP. Thank you Bea and good luck with the next step!!!
Mate, you don’t have to apologise to us. You are an amazing artist, I have bought both your solo albums and love them. Love your guitars, unfortunately haven’t seen many available here in Australia, should be more stores selling them. Anyway we wish you all the best and will continue to follow your channel
You are awesome Rabea. Just wanted to say - you are my favorite modern guitar player. Your music is just fantastic. Also thank you for not having a click baity title on this video. Much appreciated
Your evolution of drop D tuning truly makes you a guitar pioneer among the greats! Can't WAIT to watch what you do next brother!! Maybe a full Riff Wars #3 track? ;)
Makes sense really. Followed Bea since the very beginning and it's been some journey, with the most impressive things seeing how he has changed and improved as a player. I see something like a signature Ibanez AZ model in the offing. I think if he now is moving it has to be for something bigger!!
There are always reasons to mov on. But it says something positive about people and a company when your "I'm leaving" video ends with "And here's some of the best bits". You clearly have good memories, and good experiences, of being a part of Chapman Guitars. I look forward to seeing what comes next.
Met you and Rob both at NAMM in the basement. We had the booth right behind you with Oxygen amps. Was so cool to meet you both, play the first Chapmans and I think one of the first Victory amps as well. Eddie Kramer across from us, we had a great week. A lot has happened since then, congrats on that and to the future for you and Chapman guitars! Happy New Year!!!!
You wanna earn your own way, and there is nothing wrong with that! It’s incredibly admirable to wanna branch out on your own and challenge yourself to try new ventures, growth is healthy. It’s awesome your friends gave you that opportunity and it’s equally awesome you helped them with their brand as you did. I’m sure Rob and Lee are incredibly proud of you.
Good luck! My big movement from a big guitar company endorsement to Chapman was your signature guitar! It's a well thinking guitar... and a beauty! I wish you all the best.
Time for us to support your choice more than ever. You had to do you Rabea! Stay amazing keep being you, and the road will be open ;) Best Regards from Greece.
Man the internet is weird. I've been following all of you guys (dorje, toska, the anderton's crew, etc.) since aeromancy dropped like 10 years ago or whatever it was, so it legitimately feels like I know you guys personally, even though I've never spoken to any of you, and live on the opposite side of the world. Because of that though, it has been incredibly satisfying watching all of you grow and find all of the success you have. So yea, Congrats on everything, Hope all is well, and I'm looking forward to seeing where you all end up in another 10 years. I'll definitely be following along on the good ol' social media.
Good move. You've shown you're not afraid to grow within your life. I hope you're still invited to the Andertons channel as your jams with Pete were exceptional.
I was lucky enough to meet you a couple of times in LA around NAMM several years ago. You are a true gentle-man. You have inspired millions and humbly, me to play and strive for something more. Love your music, tone, style and most importantly your personality and humanity. Thanks for your hard work in presenting yourself to the world of TH-cam. Can’t wait to see what’s on the horizon for you. I’m sure it will be amazing. Ps. Thanks also for Archetype Rebea plug-in , it’s simply amazing!!!!
thank you for everything Rabea. I know there is loads more to come, but I grew up watching Andertons videos with you and Rob. I have been watching them since I was 15 and i am 25 now. you, chapman guitars and the lads inspired so many years of guitar playing from me. I wanted to be like all of you guys. I nearly started crying watching the montage as it reminded me of lying in bed in my mams house wishing I was as cool as you guys and wishing I had your guitars. I am Incredibly grateful to have been exposed to the level of work, dedication and honesty you guys put into what you do. Thank you for all the joy you have brought me so far, and best of luck with whatever it is you wish to pursue next! 🤟🤟
You inspired me, Bea. I'm sure you will continue to do so. I love my ML3 Standard Bea Baritone. Glad I seized the moment when the opportunity arose! I will always treasure it! Good luck with everything that comes next.
You have my deepest respect for putting yourself out there like this, and the guys from Chapman guitars have my deepest respect for giving you a safety net. It says a lot about you that one of your biggest struggles is with loyalty and about them that they're being so loyal to you. Basically, these are the kind of lifetime friendships that matter the most. Good luck, man. You deserve all the good fortune and love you get.
love You Rabea From OHIO! Can't wait to see what you bring for all of us to bring on my gear! thank you for everything you do! I'm hoping to meet you one day and shake hands! Cheers!
I'm not the biggest fan of Rob but you guys sure had some great moments with some great guitars. That calls for respect. Good luck on the next adventure.
Bea, no need to be nervous. You’re not stepping into the dark side or betraying an oath. You're an amazing and inspirational musician thats appears to be looking into expand your creativity. All the power to you! Many fans have your back and look forward to you making new music. Wishing you the very best on your journey friend! Keep rocking and we’re all here behind you.
DAMN you guys made SO much amazing music together! You'll land well Rabea. Can't wait to see which company is smart enough to throw their weight behind you! Happy New Year!
You've got this dude! Everyone moves on at some point or another and this is your time. You have insired so many and im sure you will continue to do so. All the best with your future ventures Bea! 🤘
NDAs prevent you saying anything bad plus it looks bad if you leave under a cloud, i suspect some rich people are still rich while poor people leave - always follow the money
After reading some of the comments on this video, I decided to go down the rabbit hole of Rob Chapman and Chapman guitars. I'm very happy you're distanciating yourself from them. I wish you all the best, Rabea. You're an awesome guitarist!
All the very best to you RM. You are one of the most talented young musicians in the planet right now, I can't wait to see what the future holds for you! ☺️👍
Thanks for putting in some of your music. I have seen you in shred videos but never actually heard any of your music. You made a new fan. Good luck with all your future endeavors!
This move makes sense. I wouldn’t be able to articulate why exactly, but I think anyone who’s ever moved to a new city to explore new horizons gets it. In a way, you’re honoring where you started by launching into other great things. And I’m so happy to see that your relationships aren’t changing. I’d imagine Rob and the Captain feel like proud uncles right now!
Onwards and upwards mate, you should all be rightfully proud of what you achieved with those sig guitars, looking forward to see what's coming up in the future!
Bless You, Rabea! I could feel the emotion in every word. You met the right people at the right time to prepare you for this next step. That's a BLESSING. To be surrounded by and nurtured in such an atmosphere of love for music. I have a brother who threw away his gift. The world needs you (To quote Victor Wooten). Go, Create, Rage! I've enjoyed every review & demo you have been a part of that I've seen across the board. You're an AWESOME guitarist! Eyes open for what you bring next!!!
Love your stuff Rabea. You're an absolute beast of a guitarist, but such a humble likeable guy too. You're a class act. I wish you all the best with your next chapter, man.
In a way, It was time, you picked a great time to venture off. the amount of signature instruments and software i have seen get pumped out over the years with your name on it, fully believe in the right choice and what a way to end the year with a bang! starting fresh next year with a new plan!
Another time Bea you proved to be not just the most incredible and inspiring guitarist out there (in my humble opinion, but I believe it with my whole heart), but also a wonderful human being, a true friend to the people you love. I'm so proud of your growing during those years and I can't wait to see where will you take us in this journey. I'm very faithful because I'm 100% and beyond sure, that whatever you're going to do in the next future, you'll keep remember us why music (and i particular your music) is one of to most beautiful thing of being alive. You're an absolute legend, and I'll love you and your work forever; thank you so much for everythng you do, and good luck for what comes next! Cheers ❤
Bea !! Strength and courage moving forward. Without pushing beyond our comfort zone there is no growth. You'll be great in whatever you do moving ahead because you have TALENT and gift. I do have one question, Where's all the awesome gear ? Was that part of the relationship as well or are you moving perhaps? You have thousands of fans who will support your work. CHEERS!!
You were always the biggest musical talent that brand ever had, I came into this whole world via Rob's channel and I have gradually stopped watching Rob's videos entirely, stopped watching Anderton's videos entirely, you are the only person from that scene I still follow, you will go on from here to bigger and better things than ever, I'm sure this will be an exciting new chapter of your life and will be the best one yet
Love the video. Have been watching you, Chappers and Lee since the very early days. It’s been very amazing to see what you guys have all accomplished. Best of luck in the future!
Chapman sales are obviously tanking hard, I don't know how many stores still carry his brand. But good move nonetheless. Rob has really ruined his reputation for the past several years, will not be surprised if he goes out of business soon
You are a class act, i love seeing how nervous u were filming! I dont mean to sound like a sadist, it's just that it speaks to the sincerity and decency in u! I would say good luck too u , but you won't need it!!
One of my favourite gigs was seeing Dorje at Audio in Glasgow. One of my fondest moments was seeing you shredding on a mahoosive stage in front of 10,000's of people!!! its all a journey - you deserve global recognition - keep on keeping on
How poorly must Chapman pay if they can't even convince a close friend to stick around? Even when they gave him a signature guitar while he was still sort of 'starting out'?
Admire your playing immensely, and know you'll achieve more. Sadly Chapman has become, through nobody's fault but his own, a toxic and malodorous presence. He taints everything he touches and you and Lee are better than the level he'll drag you down to. Best wishes.
Is there still bad stuff going on with him. I remember a few years back there was the big blowup with Riff City and all that but I thought Rob had gotten back on track, like sorta paid his dues and did his time. Has something else happened?
@@williamturner9450 come on “William” you know it was a LOT more than the Riff City issue. All the scams begging fans for cash whilst buying a lovely new PRS, his wife begging fans for money for singing lessons which never seemed to materialise etc. It was all so shady, plus his plank guitars were (and still are) dreadful with multiple problems. His response to being called out was to go full on bully in the extreme. It backfired and the true Rob Chapman was exposed finally. Hardly anyone believes his fake “GREEEEEEEETINGS!!!” persona anymore. Are you Rob? Because it’s odd that you’re suggesting it was only the Riff City issue and that everything is fine now.
I think this is great for you, your playing has grown a lot since you started on this journey and I think without the constraints of being a corporate artist you’ll thrive!
That company is trash all around. I had a ghost fret pro and it was HORRIBLE! I've seen rob make fun of people's playing, he took company donations and bought his son a PRS 10-top. This dude did the smart thing by getting out while he still could and save his good name...
I´m almost 60 and I´ve been listening to music all my life and I follow you probably since day one. Some players have a different spice, something new, the freshness of the future...you sound amazing! thanks man.
Love you dude, good luck with everything and you will always be an important part of the Chapman family tree! ❤
That is really nice of you to support him this way & be cool with this!
Rob this is exactly why we all love you man! Just so so supportive of your family and friends! And all my best wishes to you Rabea you're going to do great bro! Now time for me to get back to my wife delivering our first born son❤️🥰 Happy New Years to you all!

It helps create the spark so many artists truly need, and it's interesting to see you not locked down into one genre, or idea of this manner in which you like to jam. Peace and love going forward. A sincere thank you both, Rob Chapman, and Rabea Massad !
Your star is rising Rabea, you’re a massive inspiration for my playing and I’m excited to see your “journey unfold” (lame saying, yet true) 🤘🏻
Aeromancy!!!!!

Good luck to you bro from across the pond! You’ve always been one of my favorite players. Stay humble. Stay true. Always.
Growth as an artist is never a bad thing. Well done on this Rabea. 🤘🏻❤️
New chapter, interesting times ahead , cheers from New Zealand
thank you for everything Rabea.
You deserve all the good fortune and love you get.
what safety net?
love You Rabea From OHIO!
Same. I stopped watching most of those channels associated with Rob, but had to check this out since it popped up.
What's wrong with Rob?

@@stoneysdead689 Google should help you out, but even before that ordeal, I wasn’t a fan
All the best Rabea - I'm sure many new and exciting opportunities and adventures await !!! Good luck !!!
Whoa... I wish you all the best, man. Wherever you end up, you're still my favorite shred/Riff Beast.
Amazing journey bro. Great edit of the memories. Best of luck for all that stands ahead.
You've got this dude! Everyone moves on at some point or another and this is your time. You have insired so many and im sure you will continue to do so. All the best with your future ventures Bea! 🤘
Love your playing and humor and character. Stay in touch with all of us. Love from Oregon USA!❤️
Glad to hear all is cool with you, Rob, and Lee. But yeah man, you do you. Best wishes as your journey continues.
You remain an inspiration, even more so the lovely way you've told us about yr new plan - wishing you all the best with your next chapters
This also felt like a send off for Dorje. You will be missed.
Hey, your studio looks great! I’m certain manufacturers will come knocking. HNY!
It's called life. Getting older and finding who you are. Keep updated. You have a lot of USA fans. 🇺🇸 Hope to see you on stage in the US.
A massive hug and good luck with the future. You deserve it mate. Lots of love.
Cheers ❤
Everyone needs to grow. All the best mate and hope to see you in Australia sometime. 🤘🇦🇺
I can’t wait to see how amazing Rabea will be when he finally has proper guitars in his hands. The future is very bright!
Where is all your gear?
It was all chapman
@@chickenboyyyy7860 I'm talking about the amps & synths & pedals 🤣🤣🤣
His studio is empty
One of my favourite gigs was seeing Dorje at Audio in Glasgow. One of my fondest moments was seeing you shredding on a mahoosive stage in front of 10,000's of people!!! its all a journey - you deserve global recognition - keep on keeping on
why is the studio so empty?
Fingers crossed you get a Fender deal, a strat sounds amazing when played by you. Good luck, and happy new year.
We all know Chapman is a scam brand, the cat is out of the bag, good for you
Why are they a scam brand? Just curious ?
What are you on about Jon. Shit taking twerp. Get out of your nans basement.
I have enjoyed watching all 3 of you over the years. Best of luck. Plz keep the videos coming!!
Bro, they need you... Not the other way around \m/
How poorly must Chapman pay if they can't even convince a close friend to stick around? Even when they gave him a signature guitar while he was still sort of 'starting out'?
@@StreetPreacherr why do you think this has anything to do with money ?
Sometimes a fresh start is great thing, and inspires new music and concepts. Looking forward to seeing what's next, all the best for 2023 mate!
Admire your playing immensely, and know you'll achieve more. Sadly Chapman has become, through nobody's fault but his own, a toxic and malodorous presence. He taints everything he touches and you and Lee are better than the level he'll drag you down to. Best wishes.
Hear hear! Old Farty Breath Chapman needs to be kept at a long distance.
Good luck.
All the good vibes in this new year ...
Happy riffs.
Health and sucess.
All because of a raw egg 😂😉
I´m almost 60 and I´ve been listening to music all my life and I follow you probably since day one. Some players have a different spice, something new, the freshness of the future...you sound amazing! thanks man.
I’m waiting for METAL PUPPET to suggest Chapman Guitars had grown too big as a brand and had to let Rabea go. 😂
Hey Bea, it makes sence. Go out there, all the best for the ride. It's been overwhelming so far. Thanks for sharing.
The very best of luck Rabea, I’m confident that you’ll find your way.
Congratulations on leaping out of the nest and flying off. Good Luck! 😁👏👍
