- The company revered for all-American lever-action rifles actually builds a significant number of firearms outside that cowboy scope. In fact, Henry Repeating Arms offers a healthy dose of single shots, a semi-automatic, a few youth bolts, and the one with perhaps the greatest cult following - the Pump Action Octagon. Here’s what you’ll want to know about one of the few slide-driven rimfires still in production today and why it remains a solid seller.
You're a pretty good shot with that!!
My Mom taught me how to shoot on a Winchester pump .22. I still have that gun, and i recently added a Henry pump to the collection as well.
I have Moms Winchester mod 61 pump (mid 1940s). I added a Henry 001 classic and 2 Ruger Wranglers. You can"t go wrong with Henry and Ruger. I gave up on Winchester when they moved out of the USA---Buy American the job you save might be your own.
Thanks Kristen for all you contribute to the industry. You said you are a sucker for the old classics...well I am 75 and available.
I have my mothers model 61 Winchester pump. It was made in the middle 1940s. It has 24 inch round barrel -walnut stock and for arm. Chambered in .22 long rifle - long +shorts.
Its hammer less. It works very smooth and is a nail driver at 100+ yards with a good scope..........I have a Henry 001 classic and 2 Ruger Wranglers , thinking about a Henry 22 mag
pump when I can save up the $$$. Great vid-keep up the good work.
Love those old Winchester pumps! Thanks for sharing that memory, and thanks for watching!
Great Review. Very clear, concise and articulate.
I bought the gun based on this review.
Very nice! That 22 wmr could be my "if I could only have one rifle" solution
Kristin is one of my favourite reviewers. Another great video!
She is the best
Thank you so much! I sure appreciate you watching!
Love punp actin 22 thanks for the video
Luv your reviews! More please….
Sweet little rifle. I used to have a Colt Lightning and loved it!
"Used to have"? Time to snag another! An old Colt Lightning is still on my wish list...
25 yards, open sights, freehand...Made a believer out of the center of that target...
Just ordered one. Thanks for the review!
♥️🌹
A fun little rifle :o)
My wife bought me one for my 75th birthday I'm havein a blast with it..tin cans and pinecones don't have a chance..
What a great present from your wife! Thanks for sharing!
Great review
I'm hoping my grandpa will purchase one of these rifle for my bday.
Be nice to add to my Henry 22 classic, but seems like most models of Henry rifles are sold out here lately.
Great Review! Well covered.👍🏻
I want one
Nice shooting.
Sweet!
damn good shooting!
Reckon they'd put threads on the barrel for a suppressor?
Wow. Your trigger finger discipline! The mark of someone that has been surprised before by a hair trigger. Like being handed a doctored-up revolver and it fires the instant you fit it into your hand?
If you feel the need for a pump action 22, do yourself a huge favor and skip the Rossi Gallery Gun and get the Henry.
Man I wish I could buy one with a threaded barrel version.
You've been playing too many computer games.
Live in the DFW area what's the best place to buy??? Who keeps these?
😇❤️💙🧡😁
It's made cheaply with no receiver , barrel riveted to a trunion with two steel rails ,
It's not a pump , it's a converted lever action , that's why it's hard to operate , overcoming the very small fulcrum point ,
The cartridge guide is cheap zinc pot metal , all of this covered by an aluminum receiver cover ,
I bought one , wouldn't feed right out of the box , Henry's customer service sux , wanted me to send it back at my expense , and only offered to buy it back at a loss to me , no thanks .
Buy at your own risk .
Make a video if it's true. Which probably isn't
