I have one actually, their operating systems are surprisingly faster than windows, and normal windows machines do infact have more functionality but it would not be better for people who need storage. say your windows machine was 64gb, windows has pre installed "advanced" apps and alot of games. ChromeOS on the other hand doesnt install apps when you directly log in, though you cannot run .exe files, which most of the exe files are on the google play store. and ChromeOS has better security, faster updates and overall its somewhat better.
