I started this arrangement over 10 years ago lol. I uploaded an almost-finished version to twitter for pokemon day, but couldn't find the time to work on the pixel art and youtube video until now. oops

Ayyyy a remix of one of the best pokemon battle themes. I stopped everything and came here the second i saw the notification.

The Nes Can not proced that much Channel 🤓☝️🫵 its a sound chip version with steroïd if you want well 🤓☝️ actually if Nintendo decided back then to relased a better more advanced audio card on the Nes like this it whould work 🤓🎉

I've been listening to Colress' Battle Theme for the past two weeks.
Only now did I get this recommended, and got curious enough after having heard other similar 8-Bit Arrangements.
You're on a whole other level. This is so faithful I can barely hear a difference between this and the original.

WOW! This is exceptionally well done, even the square wave's pitch bending is spot on. I think it was a brilliant move to use the DMC channel (if I'm seeing that right) for the synth guitar and countdown samples, they're an iconic part of the battle theme and it'd feel empty without them. Once again, phenomenal work!

Pokémon Black 2 will always have a special place in my heart. While Pokémon Pearl got me interested in Pokémon music thanks to the objectively best Pokémon Champion; B2 is when I realized how great it could be. First was Hugh's Theme, my favorite rival to this day, and then Colress' Theme...absolutely stellar.
Fun Irrelevant Fact: Back in Pokémon Pearl, I always preferred Cynthia's piano room music to her actual battle theme. So imagine my bittersweet emotions when they essentially gave Volo what I always wanted Cynthia to have. Even they knew that piano deserved more respect. Lol
