Thanks! It's nice when they exceed specifications.
I knew you would upgrade those internals. 😊 That bugger is good for another 25 years.

At the end of the video you made mention Red Riders are currently made in China? Is all Daisy Red Rider style BB guns made there?
Side note, i have a few 80s to early 90s Red Riders. Would they most likely have the seamed barrel?
Yes they are, might get the odd special edition made elsewhere but otherwise if it says Daisy it's probably made in China otherwise the cost would skyrocket.
@@Segafishy That's a bloody shame.
@@velvetant tbh it doesn't mean they are awful as the tooling is the same tooling from Stateside, while QC can occasionally slip I can confirm the one I have next to me is pretty decent with only plastics being trigger assembly and Sight/end cap (abutment might be too but thats unchanged from the US standard), Stocks a nice wood and the finish is pretty much the same as a US built one.
All the current production guns are made in china. I'm a little fuzzy about when the change to seamless shot tubes occurred but I believe your 1980's guns would have the older seamed tube tech. Easy to find out just taking a hard look at the muzzle, if there is a single line present and no crown, it's the earlier shot tube.
@@Segafishy That is true that they can still keep quality in products.
I just dislike having manufacturing in a country who's Government competes with our militarily.
I do admit there are a few products that I can only find that are made there.
