*Also Vaush* : “Judging by Destiny’s tweets against part of the trans community, Destiny is OBVIOUSLY a transphobe, there’s no way he hates just a PART of the trans community, no possible way”

it's so funny because newer generations are attracted to the more "realistic" and "down to earth" aspects of independent content creation, as opposed to scripted traditional media. But in reality content creators are repeating the same tropes found in television, precisely like a soap opera. With twitch politics it's already bad enough, but it gets even worse with the "1%" at the top of twitch. You see these people beefing for the dumbest reasons, and then you remember they're literally millionaires acting out like highschool kids to entertain an audience of millions of people. This shit is so insane. No wonder touch grass has been rising in popularity as an insult. The internet has perhaps never been so detached from reality like right now.

I know everybody already knows Vaush is a mini-Destiny, but the fact that he used the words “cancer” and “subhuman” back to back to describe someone in a self-proclaimed “edgy” take is like watching someone take the script of a Destiny video and monologuing it for an audition

Now he’s using words Destiny uses all the time.

He also copies words Destiny uses like gish galloping and apparently now he’s copying Destiny’s edgy insults too. Like nobody else uses these insults.

Second, it shouldn't matter if the skeptics were dumb, because what they were saying is descriptively true. If you give people (especially spoiled middle-class people) a free pass against criticism because they're marginalized then they will abuse it. Black people, trans people, women, everyone does it. Humans are just garbage, and we will weaponize all forms of kindness to gain as much ground as possible.

@@666PlagueBlack From what i remember, most of destinys takes in 2018 were pretty reasonable. The same can not be said about the anti-sjws he argued with tho. When i remember back to something like the sargon-debates as an example; these were just absolute trainwrecks.
Sure, some of the stuff the skeptics said was true, just like some of the stuff the online-lefties say is true. Yet, both these kinds of people are mostly stupid and most of what they say is just garbage, so i dont see a reason why we should care about either of them.
I also dont belive any individual should get a free pass against criticism. I also dont see how this is in any way a relevant position or the essence of "social justice" or whatever. It sound more like a strawman to me.

@@insomnius3447 You're absolutely dishonest here. Clearly the anti-sjws had a point if Destiny is agreeing with their initial takes on cancel culture nowadays. Unless you think anti-sjws were pro cancel culture, or Destiny's position hasn't changed (which it clearly has) then you're just not making any sense.
Your crowd just doesn't want to admit that the right was just correct, because you're emotionally vested in the issue.

The way I see it, the age of consent exists out of respect for the numerous power imbalances older people have over younger people. As those imbalances (or at least some of them) are redressed though the advent of socialism, the age of consent should therefor be lowered.

How do you come to this conclusion? Hypothetically speaking, infusing socialism into society, economy or government does not counteract the power imbalance between adults and children. Or adults and teens. Children are and should be a protected class bc they do not have the experience, knowledge or wisdom to make major decisions on their own.
