I had the chance to film a series of extreme stunt videos with Ford! For this video they gave me a Ford Focus ST, and one tank a gas, to see what adventure we could go on. With this one we got some pro long boarders, and took over a mountain for the day!
We are still looking for awesome ideas of what to do for the rest of our Ford adventures. Upload to instagram you idea/adventure of what you would do with one tank of gas, and hopefully I can use your idea for one of our next videos. The long boarders were able to reach up to 65mph. And the course we filmed on was closed off to keep everyone safe, so do not try this at home, or on the road for that matter.

Yeah my friends are actually pretty even between regular and goofy. Its funny before i started skating i thought almost nobody pushed goofy.
I am currently going through a very difficult period in my life and this video makes me feel so liberated and confident that every change is for good. Thank you. I really needed this.

For those of you who think they will "slip" or "wobble":
Chances are that they are very experienced riders, not to mention the precision trucks they are riding along with the wide contact patch wheels they are rocking. They aren't riding bamboo pintails... Downhill boards are designed for just that: downhill.

I got a longboard from zumiez a week ago and broke it.
I would be so worried that the car following them so closely could run over one of them if they wiped out. otherwise, insane!
Terri Knoll They rarely fall off and when they do they slide of the road in to the grass so you have to be a special type of unlucky to get run over by the chase car

The drivers are experienced follow drivers and in order to Beth the best shots the driver has to drive really close to them, that's how downhill skateboarding is filmed.... Look up "Santa gnarbara" they have tons of videos where the follow car is right behind the skater

Really sick video but the song makes me feel like I'm in the lego store at the mall. Longboarding is scary as frick. Look up "James Kelly - Burn it Down." It gives you a better idea of how it really feels.
This has to be an adrenaline rush while you're doing it, but this vid is ultra-relaxing.
2020 still the best longboarding vid ive ever seen
ive been long boarding for two months
i usually do it just to cruise, but ive gone down hill boarding a few times no im never in full gear, only had one bad bail so far was going 30 down a hill that had was about 1 - 2 min drop. lost control of board and forced myself to the side of the road because i knew a bail was coming, fell in the grass my right eye right knee and shoulder had some badass road rash but they actually finished healing up, and i am raging to go again!

No, the car doesn't know a thing and it can't stop in time from running one of them over if they fall.

The car doesn't stop. You folks speak of "the car" as if it had a conscience and could act on its own. Therein lies the problem when an entire mindset is in error, for starters a car does nothing on its own.
***** However at that speed during the skid, they will lose that speed much faster than a car will as the human weighs a lot less. Following that close and relying on the driver's instinct, could easily cause a very bad wreck.
Son, you need to follow at a certain distance disunirregardless of how fast or slow or your reaction times, if you are following too close like that car in this video then you will HIT the object in front of you IF (or WHEN) it comes to a SUDDEN stop.

Ya that's the same with me I'm getting a penny board and a longboard soon but only one friend skates well is starting to skate I kinda got him into it so try to do that with your friends

Honestly it's not that scary, I do this crap on a weekly basis of speeds up to 65mph, with practice any hill becomes easy... The only that you really need is a full face helmet tbh
alan soto you sure those boards are safe enough? Cuz one crack in the road could rip a wheel off and BAM!!!! large intestine is stretched down the road with ragu sauce spilling out
+dopex2xdeath there has never been such an incident in years, maybe severe road rash but downhill skaters are not that dumb to hit roads with large cracks and I'm pretty sure that the city would do something about that crack before it gets too big to affect skaters
I meant that it takes a lot for a crack to affect a skater and when it gets large enough to actually affect a skater the city usually takes care of it for safety hazards not for the skaters alone

You get used to it. If you don't want to lose skin, you don't longboard. Plus, the events where leathers are required are usually the places you'll crash more because you're in groups.

well i hit a pebble on a long board once and it stopped me immediately and i flew off the board so i would imagine that it could happen to them.
I hit a rock half the size of my wheel and it pinged out from the side of the wheel. Or you could just, go around them...
yes that is always a good idea if you see them coming.
You would have to be atleast 30 feet away and see the rock to dodge it at those speeds

Power slides, when they turn their bodies the board turns causing friction on the wheels, making them slow down

I was driving in my neighborhood where I moved and I'm just driving and a steep hill starts I couldn't stop my longboard so i lost Control of it,I fell with my face on the ground and damaged my right eye and half of my face was full in blood they took me to the hostital
