What You Can Learn From S1mple

  • People say not to copy s1mple's style, but that's not necessarily true. Lets take a look at what you can learn from s1mple. S1mple does a lot of things well that are definitely possible to try to replicate for your average player, although perhaps not as well as he does it.

    The "scope sound" is one of the most major issues many people don't understand and how much it can affect the enemies play. Very good that you talked that through aswell. What I have to learn more is "baiting". I most of the time are the first one pushing because people are afraid of it like little kittens but I guess I should just let that happen and stand behind them. (:

    • @olopaxx
      @olopaxx 2 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      the only problem with awping on t side is you need teammates that will push in first so you can actually punish ct reagression when they start pushing in

      @@olopaxx Yep that's true. I always notice the difference when I play with better player. I can trust them, they do their job and I can do my job. When I call the go and everyone uses the utility including flashes it's always so sad to look at them like: Did they dc'd? Goooo! :/

    • @vivs005
      @vivs005 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Baiting is the number 1 trick to get highest kills in matchmaking. Just let your teammates die in first fire and then you find the enemies in worn out and compromised situations. 2.0 k/d for sure. Although in a demo you'd look like a pussy.

    When you put astronomical hours in a game, it's most likely that you are just burning out and being repetitive, however, it's quite the opposite for S1mple. He improves and becomes more and more creative with his playstyle. He will be a legend figure future generations wish they watched during his prime.

    s1mple things really...
    im stuck in silver 2,
    been playing on and off since 2013, 2200+ hours, got 360+ win in mm, but when the big derank happened, (I was almost dmg) then I kind of coincidentally stopped playing comp for maybe almost 2 years, when I came back in 2019, got ranked as silver 2-3.
    and now its just luck of the draw, cause yeah, Im solo queuing....
    and so I just play casual (literally) on non active map pool thing, cause I liked mapping, and like learning new maps...
    so my wish is that I could kind of reset my elo, maybe be placed with higher ranked opponent. cause im way better than I was in 2016, but there's just no point or fun, to play with silver 2s.
    plus im french canadian, and tho I speak understandable english, I kind a get stigmatized, a lot, every game almost, and that's even when I'm trying to hide it.
    why americans so angry (not racist simply 700+ mm games speaking)
    wth guys seriously, if you guys are so cool cats, top of the line, beef grown, testosterone monsters...
    why you guys so afraid of other cultures, life is people, and learning from them, that's what's this channel is about too...
    so I gave up.

    number 1 thing to keep in mind is gamesense and your playstyle just comes with time naturally, he doesn't think too much about this, he "feels" it, when he approaches a corner he visualizes someone peaking and him reacting, that's why he, like every other pro, is so good, voo is an incredible resource of knowledge, but just don't overthink and bang your head against a wall, just relax, remember to have fun and it will actually get easier with time :)
