11:52 about upgrading CT pistols: in my experience, this depends on how your team approaches an eco round. If everyone holds solo angles, sure, better equip accordingly. But in astralis style stacks or offensive pushes or flash traps, I found that tons of USPs are just as good and rly super rarely change the outcome of the round.

"using too much utility" is something I feel. But it also pains me to see my teammates lose a 2v2 because they drypeek a known awper instead of using the smoke, flash or molly they still have.

Just another tipp for jiggle peeking, especially as an awper: Don't do it in a consistant routine but peek just every 2-3 seconds. The reason is because many player hold an angle or jiggle peek it themself and then keep going forward and lose focus to that angle. When I'm solo holding mid inferno from long I like to be in the cubby scoped it and just jiggle every couple of seconds. I never had someone ever win a fight against me in that situation because they are always catched off guard.
@@the_lordofthedings Na you should know the timings of that and your jigclepeeks should be depending on that. For example a long inferno jiggle peeking from cubby can be done in 2-4 seconds without someone getting to weird places while shiftwalking. :)
Why would you use an AWP in cubby. Unless you're running a bait and switch setup with a teammate, it's a one and done position. The AWP should always play an angle where they can fire off a shot and fall back to another angle.
@@critNnn When you hold mid solo amd want to clear short/boiler aswell you have to get a different angle. Also most people don't expect it and there are easy and save lineups to use utility without showing. Also in late game most of the time the Ts play on contact and you get a free kill and have plenty of time to get more kills or use utility depending on if there is someone for a refrag. It's a really hard angle to deal with as a T.
The best way to create a good team is not to set up strats and executes, but to create buddy-systems of play. Have your players group up 2-by-2 with one lurker, or even just one 2-man team with the rest playing their own puggy gamestyle. That two-man team should be the basis of everything you do. Probe up middle, take banana control, whatever it is, you do it in that two-man team, and the rest are backup. If you can get two players to flash for each other, trade, set up great pushes and plays with each other, you are going to win games. The key is to not put all your eggs in one basket, but rather put eggs into a few baskets and going with the one that isn't shut down. Keep those 2-man teams really tight-knit, and don't change players in them unless you have to for some reason. The more two people play with each other, the better they're going to know the other person and be able to adjust their style to cover their weak spots, and vice versa. Doing this will get you very far. The problem is that most teams have five players who think they're going to be the next zywoo or simple, and they're more interested in being the best player than playing in the best team.
6:50 - You can wall bang corners. If you are jiggling and they shoot at you because they have seen your shoulder, go for a couple of shots through the corner. You'll probably miss. Some of your shots won't go through. But if you hit the enemy or the shots go through, the enemy might pull back. Combine this with your team pushing soon after you shoot and they might get a kill from the panicked enemy. Honestly, learning where you can wall bang with what weapons will open up so many strategies and so many easy kills. Especially when you combine this with sound cues, some good headphones and knowing where head height should be and people will be questioning if you are hacking. Inferno, bridge to apartments, hitting the radio should be in everyone's repertoire by now.
One of my personal pet peeves is people who act like a full save on CT is a dead round and just charge the enemy with a USP expecting to get 0 kills. In reality, if you're aiming well in a PUG, opponents often miss enough that you get opportunities to full kill them with just a USP (opportunities become a lot rarer in higher ranks, but they still happen). 2 taps with the gun are way stronger than people realize. Play around cover and go for headshots instead of just w keying up middle every full save.
Based on my experience the best eco strat as a CT is to 5-man rush with HEs. Second best is the "astralis stack". The worst is to play as if it was a normal buy-round.
Thats not like an actual tip you. Your tip is just "you can aim better lol just kill them normally". When this is a very unrealistic outcome. And is definetly way less likely to get you a win. than W keying an unsuspecting opponent.
I absolutely hate player who say "bro buy a kit!" while 4 people already have a kit. 2 is absolutely enough. Depending on the map and playerstyle of the mid player even one kit is enough. When he barely dies he will basically always on the side where the enemies are hitting.
@@neozyykun yeah... for me it's gotten to the point where I don't even remember the last time I've bought a kit, it's like non existent for me. Kinda bad, but I wanna try to fix that lol
I agree with u on alot until the strat calling I agree with u with not calling a full execute from spawn. However i disagree with your reasoning The biggest problem with a pre set execute from spawn is the lack of map controll and information I used to shotcall in high tier teams for close to 10 years mainly 1.6 but also early csgo You're right about the youre meant to play default, but u play default because of map controll, information and flexibility But u also need variation so (in teams mainly) Having spawn position opening strats is also important, if u go default 2 2 1 or whatever map and setup, good teams will abuse u. That goes both way CT also needs to break default and mix it up But all in all good video, even for someone who doesnt play anymore and youtube thought i needed advice for a game i barely played last 10 years
i dont think ive ever heard the phrase "play the bomb" in a pug game (maybe its a US thing?) the problem i find with jiggle peaking, is people see it being done, but they don't know why, and do it them selves too- imitation at its worst
NA CS is trash so I’m not at all surprised “high ELO” yanks are saying play time with 30 seconds on the bomb or not smoking CT when you already known they aren’t holding it.
i love this guy dude he just explain so good and a reality in faceit or csgo community. People with 3k elo and they don't now how to rotate or peek new sub bro
all boxes checked. Doing all of this. I know I'm a great player, but I always come out of these videos feeling even better about myself. But way, why am I not faceit level 10!? ..must be my teammates!
I absolutely agree with your rotate. I absolutely HATE it when the apps player is rotation towards B as the first rotater. It should always be the long player!
I'm silver 4 and what drives me crazy is when my teammate is the last alive and the other team has no way of knowing which way he's rotating from. But then they throw shitty utility that does nothing and now the T defending the bomb knows exactly what angle to hold.
@@vooCSGO tbh this year it's hard to guess so I'm sure many would like to see your pick ems. Maybe it's a good video idea and you can kinda combine the stream + explanation of your choices to make a video.
8:00 I really wish that comp players would listen to this one. I don't know how many times I've been playing dust, one guy shows his face in upper tuns and everyone wants to go to B now.
I 100% agree with everything except a bit of the "Bad rotations". Sometimes specially on 3 lane maps it's better for a site player to rotate to the other site, instead of the middle player. Because even if someone of the site replaces the player in mid, there will be a period of time in which middle will be vulnerable. In those few seconds an awp can be posted on the angle, a Lurker can go through, or you simply miss the opportunity to take a shot. And specially on 3 Lane maps where mid to (site) splits are common. Having mid control it's essential. Also, there are instances in which I prefer to have an awp in middle than a rifle. Specially if the other team has an awp too. (Not saying you are wrong you are most defenitely right, but I'm just saying I don't 100% agree).
Mid would not be vulnerable because either u wait ur rotator to be there to leave or the rotator pays attention to the potential threat as he arrives mid by playing a safer angle or using some utilities to assure himself a good "retake"
@@Lolywiz "Because u wait ur rotator to be there to leave" completely defeats the purpose of what Voo was saying... He said to rotate like as string so its faster (Alongside other points, but mainly because its faster). If you are waiting for someone to get to your exact position before leaving ... then it'd be the same for them to just cross you. Also, you point out that "Uses utilities to assure himself a good ""Retake"""; A.K.A mid is vulnerable so he needs to essentially waste utility in getting to an angle. Also also, "Getting to a safer angle" that's exactly what my point was... you give control of an angle, especially an awp angle to play it with a rifle. So ... you play it "safer" essentially giving away the angle and control.
@@Suklaa well I was mainly pointing the different options (each with their default) and it's true that rotating and leaving ur position will often leave some holes. The thing is that ur mate will have to take ur position but stay in the "conquered" zone, not going further that what u already had bc of the risk of the enemy push, unless u cleared the zone like 3 seconds before ur rotate and ur mate got enough time to replace u and take a more aggressive position thanks to the clear u made (like jump car B mirage => clear, u go bench => u rotate after 1/2 sec bc of new info on A => short player takes ur place and go close car holding apps thanks to ur info and the fact that he got a few seconds to go there if it was clear and he took a more aggro positions than ur bench pose) I hope I'm not too confusing haha
6:26, alot of people confusing jiggle peeking and shoulder peeking. From tutorials people always use the term jiggle and shoulder peeking synonymously. Even Valorant players confuse the terms.
What I hate about pugs, especially on inferno, is that on T-side your teammates are totally random. Typically you would have like two-three people trying to take banana, the rest taking apps and mid controll. What pisses me of is that the players that initially played apps decide to go banana without saying shit and so you end up with 4 people taking banana and either taking enormous damage from utility or doing absolutely nothing whatsoever. After that, 1 person usually gets impatient and peeks into awp on B (gets killed) and the rest try to fix the mess (usually unsuccessfully) by either executing B, which is smoked of and overstuck with CTs, or rotating to A, wishing to not get killed by a flanker from apps and overall losing so much time. In addition only few players actually bother to molly car from ramp even if you explicitly tell them to (so annoying).
I think the most annoying one is overconfidence when you get the bomb site and bomb is planted, 5v2 situation and then all 4 of youe teammates die and then they say "play time." Or even if you all died to the same person.
Another reason people are inconsistent and lower level players is because they just don't have the time to practice to be consistent. Practice makes consistency.
I mean. I work fully time (40+h) + even do a little second job via ebay and currently plan to build a house + play football 3 times a week and yet I still have time to play/train csgo. Not having time for training is just a poor excuse.
@@RaimaNd yeah same. i only work about ~120 hours a week and between being on dialysis and my 5 hour workout regimen every day except sunday (proud catholic) i still manage to find the 13 hours per day to drill my smokes and flashes on every map including hostage maps. its not that hard
i swear i have to back off to smoke shit because no one hangs onto their utility late in the round for a late site hit, or they just don't know what line up or utility to use, the amount of times ive had someone call a flash to peek then the flash misses completely blows my mind.
I used to be one of those players who wouldn't buy armor in an attempt at a full save but since I started buying armor im usually last alive and if I save then I still keep my kevlar
This is all great and I love it and improve a lot from you so thanks but one major issue is you need teammates that cooperate. In silver thats impossible :D
Buy utility first round if you have an intended purpose* Fixed it for you. Cannot count how many times mirage has been lost to the B rush because mollies were not purchased. When it stops working I'll stop buying.
i hit 400 hours of cs recently, currently im dmg having 5 wins in a row. i need people that want to play mm and teach me something about the advanced stuff of the game. would be down for faceit aswell but i dont play a lot of faceit myself
a small basic tip dont buy kevlar as t in pistol cus they have usp anyway u get 1 tapped in very begging lose that money u bought kevlar with and even worse u could buy utility with money and maybe 50% chance get some fraggs (my opinion)*
i swear it pissed me off the people (wether on t or ct side) who spam utility just because they have it, no plan for what they use, no motives, just throw them because they bought it.
i will NEVER buy armor on Pistol rounds, i dont know when this came to play, but i started on 1.5 and we never bought kevlar OK, dont get me wrong, there might be a tactic that needs kevlar, but usually NO, NEVER :D
@@tappajaav that might be true, but in pistol rounds (if u play against decent to good people) you will get 1 tapped anyway. and with utils u can create entries or prevent something. so i will always go utils (99% of the time :D )
@@eeFiroK I don't disagree with that. But based on my experiences people don't always hit heads and heads only, pistol rounds or not(unless we're talking about absolute highest tiers of CS - and even there some players still buy kevlar on pistol rounds). So investing in kevlar is kind of safe option on pistol rounds.
It's true. Now 4 hit bodyshot buff has tipped the scale, dont forget, $200 cheaper, easier recoil, quieter and safer to spam smoke, for all that 5 less in a mag is acceptable.
@AutoSemiMatic You basically have one full buy round more - or just multiple better buyrounds in each game. 200 dollar can make the difference between you buying an m4s or buying famas/mp9 which is a huge difference. But yeah the weapon would still be more preferable even when it would cost the same.
I will never buy armor when I can buy two flashes and a p250 on T side and actually be useful to me team. I will also never buy armor when I can buy a kit and my choice of nades on CT side and actually be useful to my team.
when i hear read the thumbnail i was just thinking about someone "playing the BOMB" by Bhoping around it and stuff like that lol like the bomb got played
If i confident to win the round and have some money like 2k after equip I buy head armor. If i lose, 350 lose, if i win i need yo buy 1k. Otherwise i agree to not buy armor.
buying armor in pistol round is not actually recommended, cause either usp or Glock can 1 shot you in the head, rending your kevlar to near useless if your opponents dont have nades. better some utility in my opinion
I never understood what's the point of buying kits when you can get em off your dead teammate. Unless the whole team thinks just like me but then we be lost anyway.
Hey VOO. Is there a tool for drawing up strats/executes on 2D maps in a replay kind of fasion where you can play through the execute timewise? It get very clogged up when drawing on 2D images with Noesis etc. I'm think that coaches must use such a tool?
the problem is, where do you get 4 players with understanding? I got 5k hours in game, and had two times the luck to get experienced mates in matchmaking, guys who really understood why they do things.
Another way you give away information is by having the team toss 3+ mollies/grenades/smokes. 1 per player utilities are an easy count of how many players you are facing. If you see 3 smokes or receive 2 mollies you know where their numbers are (and is an easy "3 banana go A" or "2 B stairs" callout), even if it's a fake exec you can still assume that number of players are close and either preparing a push or rotating right after, which will take them time. Lesson: don't spam utility without a plan to get kills because fuck it, you're just telling your enemy "see those 3 mollies, 2 frags and 5 flashes? Yeah there's at least 3 of us here, rotate one of your guys to meet us please! Also we just wasted most of our utility to handicap our late round plays!"

Finally, I have an excuse for not buying kits most of the rounds
I basically never do if two or three teammates have kits already unless we're setting really pretty on the money.
I absolutely hate player who say "bro buy a kit!" while 4 people already have a kit. 2 is absolutely enough. Depending on the map and playerstyle of the mid player even one kit is enough. When he barely dies he will basically always on the side where the enemies are hitting.
Yeah true, but if youre a bomb hugger (wanting to defuse all the time), please do buy one 😂
@@RaimaNd some people don't buy kits even if they have 5k and that's dumb
@@neozyykun yeah... for me it's gotten to the point where I don't even remember the last time I've bought a kit, it's like non existent for me. Kinda bad, but I wanna try to fix that lol
You gave me a much better perspective about rotations. Never thaught about this in that way. Thank you.
I agree with u on alot until the strat calling
I agree with u with not calling a full execute from spawn.
However i disagree with your reasoning
The biggest problem with a pre set execute from spawn is the lack of map controll and information
I used to shotcall in high tier teams for close to 10 years mainly 1.6 but also early csgo
You're right about the youre meant to play default, but u play default because of map controll, information and flexibility
But u also need variation so (in teams mainly)
Having spawn position opening strats is also important, if u go default 2 2 1 or whatever map and setup, good teams will abuse u.
That goes both way
CT also needs to break default and mix it up
But all in all good video, even for someone who doesnt play anymore and youtube thought i needed advice for a game i barely played last 10 years
i dont think ive ever heard the phrase "play the bomb" in a pug game (maybe its a US thing?)
the problem i find with jiggle peaking, is people see it being done, but they don't know why, and do it them selves too- imitation at its worst

@@justingr0334 I did - my wife didn't appreciate it
I absolutely agree with your rotate.
I'm really enjoying this 360p👌
thought my net is trash
Video is still processing come back later
TH-cam takes time processing videos
I hate it when I'm CT and my teammates go looking for the last enemy when theres 20 seconds left and die instead of letting time expire
Great tips for me to forget 2 mins into MM.
Thanks for the content it's been helping me out I just started playing again and the tips and refreshers are coming in handy.
Somehow there's always 1 or 2 people who buy deagle on pistol rounds
Eh, hardly
Hey Voo, long time viewer btw love your content!!! Would you consider a Stockholm 2021 pick em prediction video?
I'm going to do it on stream tomorrow most likely, however not sure it'll turn into a video

excellent video, voo. Have also enjoyed your previous few uploads as well
I have learned So much from u , voo. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Voo: Dont throw as much Utility.
Astralis B execute: Am I joke to you?
your videos are so good im a silver tryina rank up and you give me so valuable information in like every video. thanks!
nothing like voo uploading a 360p video
The thing is that ur mate will have to take ur position but stay in the "conquered" zone, not going further that what u already had bc of the risk of the enemy push, unless u cleared the zone like 3 seconds before ur rotate and ur mate got enough time to replace u and take a more aggressive position thanks to the clear u made (like jump car B mirage => clear, u go bench => u rotate after 1/2 sec bc of new info on A => short player takes ur place and go close car holding apps thanks to ur info and the fact that he got a few seconds to go there if it was clear and he took a more aggro positions than ur bench pose)
I hope I'm not too confusing haha
Csgo wizard has spelled upon us a new video
3:24 OMG don't bother using all the util.
Next video be like: OMG use the util. don't die with you util. OMG
I think the most annoying one is overconfidence when you get the bomb site and bomb is planted, 5v2 situation and then all 4 of youe teammates die and then they say "play time." Or even if you all died to the same person.
4:31 - 5:15 ok now explain this to 3 russians and a 8y/o kid
Another reason people are inconsistent and lower level players is because they just don't have the time to practice to be consistent. Practice makes consistency.
Yeah consistently SHIT.
@@RaimaNd Rank?
@@1010thechamp Ex pro. So way ahead of mm ranks and common faceit level 10 player.
i swear i have to back off to smoke shit because no one hangs onto their utility late in the round for a late site hit, or they just don't know what line up or utility to use, the amount of times ive had someone call a flash to peek then the flash misses completely blows my mind.
You know you’re early when the video is only available at 360p
I used to be one of those players who wouldn't buy armor in an attempt at a full save but since I started buying armor im usually last alive and if I save then I still keep my kevlar
3:07 no, i'd rather buy defkit.
i forgot to buy it once and guess what - it made us lose the round. not risking again.
This is all great and I love it and improve a lot from you so thanks but one major issue is you need teammates that cooperate. In silver thats impossible :D
Buy utility first round if you have an intended purpose*
Fixed it for you. Cannot count how many times mirage has been lost to the B rush because mollies were not purchased.
When it stops working I'll stop buying.

i hit 400 hours of cs recently, currently im dmg having 5 wins in a row. i need people that want to play mm and teach me something about the advanced stuff of the game. would be down for faceit aswell but i dont play a lot of faceit myself
a small basic tip dont buy kevlar as t in pistol
cus they have usp anyway u get 1 tapped in very begging lose that money u bought kevlar with
and even worse u could buy utility with money and maybe 50% chance get some fraggs (my opinion)*
My favourite games when smurfing are when a silver/gold 5-man throws full execs every buy round and then don't push when you smoke them off.
i swear it pissed me off the people (wether on t or ct side) who spam utility just because they have it, no plan for what they use, no motives, just throw them because they bought it.
The problem with the utilities is if you're playing with random teammates it's almost impossible to play a coordinated effort
nice upload my man
i will NEVER buy armor on Pistol rounds, i dont know when this came to play, but i started on 1.5 and we never bought kevlar OK, dont get me wrong, there might be a tactic that needs kevlar, but usually NO, NEVER :D
Aimpunch is much less forgiving in CS:GO.
M4a1-s is the best now.. you confirm it having it equiped here ! 😂
It's true. Now 4 hit bodyshot buff has tipped the scale, dont forget, $200 cheaper, easier recoil, quieter and safer to spam smoke, for all that 5 less in a mag is acceptable.
@AutoSemiMatic 200 can be a lot, the difference between able to afford a kit than not, so you know, don't underestimate dollar in the game.
@AutoSemiMatic I’ve had a lot of games where having an a1s has saved me from having to buy a famas or some other weapon.
I will also never buy armor when I can buy a kit and my choice of nades on CT side and actually be useful to my team.
quality?
it will be hd soon
Probably to early, and has not loaded in yet. Wait like 10 min and it should be good
I do that mid jiggle on inferno specifically if no one is watching boiler
Buy armor on pistol round? No, I'd rather buy smoke and flash, prematurely pop them and let the enemy know which bombsite we're heading to.
Had a team m8 calling to "play the time" when we were 2 ct's vs 1 with 50 seconds on the clock, no plant. *shrugs
Excellent, hopefully my teammates will watch this and take it to heart too
when i hear read the thumbnail i was just thinking about someone "playing the BOMB" by Bhoping around it and stuff like that lol like the bomb got played
you're forgetting the most important tip in CSGO ; DON'T DIE
Play the bomb = don't go chasing them on the middle of the map if we have planted or if we have the bomb
If i confident to win the round and have some money like 2k after equip
I buy head armor.
If i lose, 350 lose, if i win i need yo buy 1k.
Otherwise i agree to not buy armor.
Unfortunately with regards to rotations, I very rarely see people actually rotate.
nice but i don't have friends
buying armor in pistol round is not actually recommended, cause either usp or Glock can 1 shot you in the head, rending your kevlar to near useless if your opponents dont have nades. better some utility in my opinion
Can you think of any other disadvantageous reason not to have armor in pistol round?
"Buy armour on pistol"
WRONG
Have 2 or 3 team mates do that, the other utility or pistol upgrade.
Spaz
I could be incorrect, but I think he means those lovely humans that decide to save 800 into the 2nd round?
I never understood what's the point of buying kits when you can get em off your dead teammate.
Unless the whole team thinks just like me but then we be lost anyway.
never comment, but this video was more helpful than most videos. even your own. create work
12:00 i feel like everytime i upgrade my pistol we lose the round lol
Hey VOO. Is there a tool for drawing up strats/executes on 2D maps in a replay kind of fasion where you can play through the execute timewise?
It get very clogged up when drawing on 2D images with Noesis etc.
I'm think that coaches must use such a tool?
disclaimer for the video "Plenty of Chicken were harmed in this video"
The rotation thing on inferno also gets to me. It’s so annoying.
The inferno cinnamon roll strat is always the strat
7:30 i still jiggle in the open because it helped against people with wh years ago
the problem is, where do you get 4 players with understanding? I got 5k hours in game, and had two times the luck to get experienced mates in matchmaking, guys who really understood why they do things.
i was lucky for my irl friends to introduce me into it
6:23 my guy did himself dirty
OK, so how do we play a default on each map? :-)
not to add even at lvl 10 people still dont know how important map control is
I see... so most of the time, what I'm doing is a lousy xantarespeek instead of a jiggle.
Thank you
