KHEER (RICE PUDDING) CAN ALSO BE MADE IN A SLOW COOKER
INGREDIENTS:
1 CUP RICE
1 GALLON WHOLE MILK
SUGAR
GROUND CARDAMOM
SLIVERED ALMONDS
HOW TO:
1. HEAT THE MILK AND RICE TOGETHER IN A LARGE POT ON LOW HEAT - UNCOVERED STIRRING OFTEN
2. MILK WILL REDUCE DOWN & RICE WILL THICKEN
3. COOKING TIME IS APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR
4. REMOVE POT FROM HEAT ADD SUGAR, CARDAMOM, ALMONDS & STIR
