Hi, thanks for this video. Even if quite old it will (hopefully) help me setting up one quadcopter. Do you know by any chance if the evo f12e will bind to a spektrum receiver ?

Hi! Nicely delivered and informative information. Thanks! May I ask you something? My hexacopter looks fine, everything connected correctly, but when I go to do the Motor Test nothing much happens. They don't spin at all during this test? Do you know of any reasons why this might be happening (or not happening in my case!)?

Hi Mark, Thanks for your question. Have you checked your voltage on the complete chain to each motor? I recommend to meassure the input voltage on the esc's (permanently the voltage of your batery) and outgoing between at least two pins while pressing the test button for this motor. Additionally you can meassure the signal of your motor control wires directly on the flight controller, to see if there is any outgoing signal. Alternatively you can plug a servo into the motor outputs of the flight controller ans check if they react.
      Kind regards, Adrian

what ports do you connect a gimbal if you had one? does it go on the rx1202 channels? also, how would i control the gimbal with the transmitter?

gimbal control is through the Naza Lite controller instead of your receiver I believe and the Naza Assistant can provide guidance on how to set up I believe.

Does these instructions work for the Phantom 2 flight controller? It has the exact same inputs as the Naza-M V2 flight controller. I have connected everything like in this video but get no reaction at all in the PT2 software, no stick or switch inputs at all. EDIT: Well i answer my own question since nobody else do it, the Phantom 2 has only SBUS as an option, not PWM, PPM and SBUS like the Naza-M V2 flight controller. And the Devo receivers does not have SBUS, so needed to buy a signal converter.

Hi G., thanks for your input and sorry for the delay! That's new to me too. Unfortunately I've got no experience with the Phantom 2 controller yet. So thanks for your answer.

No problems, now it works very good. Thanks for the videos, they made it very easy to setup the F12E for the Phantom 2, now I'm going to try the same on a Devo 10.

    Hi,
In the video you mentioned the RX1202 is not a PPM receiver. Do you happen to know what type it is if not PPM?

      Its a traditional setup PWM

hi D, saw your video. super. nothing is the matter with your English. It's very good too. me be a total newbie to Drones (migrating from fixed wing nitro engine flight) and things "electrical". Just got my self a walkera Premium drone. Super. Trying to get the walkera g-3d gimbal going and simply unable to figure out the myriad of cables and connectors and where they go. would any kindly be able to please provide advice/guidance please?

Mo so.... If you need guidance on gimbal set up please let me know and I will help. I had a QRX Premium and am familuar with how it works. Hope you have better luck than I had as my Premium was a "fly away". I got home sick for China and left without so much as a thank you.
