Your enthusiasm and attitude are great! You’ve earned my subscription! As a newbie to RC, I really appreciate your inclusive mindset. Thanks for being so welcoming to people trying to get into the hobby!
Im still rocking mine stock for now. Not sure if I'm going to to turn it into a 4x4 crawler or a drifter. But I still have a ton of fun with it regardless. Awesome little rig.
I ordered mine immediately after watching ur vid, Francis & it has just arrived today after 4 days from China. Seeing it's bug eyes peering from the box, I fell in love with it. Well worth the price. 👍👍
Next time you should get the person who did the mods to give you a list or something. It would be great to hear about how it was done. Looks like he used the WPL D12 metal rear axle kit and swapped the axle under the leafs in the back but that's just a guess.
You can buy in Washington state, almost bought one. There used imports. To slow for freeway ,highway use. 😑 but I did just pick up the D 12 along with a few upgrades. Thanks sir. R.c. forever.
Nice job. I have the 1:16 version and for a guy that collects 1:18 diecast I was just looking to add to my pic up collection. However, as my first RC ever even I knew I wasn't driving a cheap toy store RC. The price was a bargin and I love the control on the acceleration you can effortlessly creep or pull doughnuts . Love it.
As difficult as this little beasty would be to drive, The look is 100% spot on as is the scale factor, Everyone loves heaps of power but this thing.... Yikes. Straightening the front "A" arms is a master stroke. Bigger wheels and tyres are perfect... Love the enthusiasm you show Francis... really shows in the channel and why I always watch! Excellent work mate!!
I have seen the D12 lifted using the 4WD C24/14 or B14 chassis but this is the first time I have seen it done 2WD using the D12’s own chassis and a brushless set up. I have to say I like it a lot. I’m going to have to get another D12 and do this one too. I kept one stock and I’m working on a drift version (got the brushless set and wheels but I’m waiting on tires) and a 4WD is in the works too but I might switch up to what you’ve done. Nice work👍🏼
one of the best looking D12s. i'll be waiting for a 4x4 version of this. from the look in your eyes, i know it is coming soon. btw, hope you'll be reviewing the gen8 V2 soon.
D14 is out for over a month already 😁 but sadly you can't put bigger tires in the front because of the upright design... Switching to D12 front suspension soon, hope it will help
Definitely love the looks of these cars, and the scale options for them are astounding now... My Silver KM should be showing up today, and I already have a ton of parts for her, so in a few days here, I will have my dual-purpose D12, trail truck/drifter. Terribly excited. Liked seeing it go the other direction too. Looks sharp when it's off-roaded out!! Well done video, and thanks for the upload!!
Dude. You guys killed it with this little truck👊😜 Great fun to watch. Can’t imagine the fun of actually playing with that setup. Cheers and thanks for sharing 😜🍻
I have tried some wpl upgrade stuff, I wish you the best of luck but I bet after a short time that brushless motor is going to eat that drivetrain alive. I have had loads of problems from wpl stuff and I am only running a brushed 380 motor, there 2 speed trans lasted about 100 feet! Great video like always man!
WPL have just announced a set of upgraded gearbox gears for this truck,if going brushless, keep below 4900 Kv as this will destroy the stock plastic gears.
Take a wpl d12 and put it on a wpl c24 chasis and you got a kei truck rock crawler. Your kinda behind, folks have been building these for a year or so.
You have a stock one, a lifted one & a drifter. All you're missing now is a 4X4 conversion! Didn't see any parts links. Interested in wheels, adapters, tires, motor, etc.
Epic! I love these cheap cars and your review style :) Awesome work! I wonder if you would review/mod a MN-99s? It's of similar price and quality to the WPLs but in a 4wd Land Rover 1/10 shape. It's super modable into a great crawler and fun out of the box. Btw you are the reason why I got a Hobby Plus CR-24, excellent review(s) too! Unfortunately the scx24 is way too expensive here in Japan (twice the CR-24)
Im trying to understand how bending the front bottom arms straight, how does that add height to it if the top arm cannot go any further down? what other modification was done in the front other than just bending the bottom arm?
Can I ask... I am new to my D12 that came with a 1200mAh 7.4V battery. I'm slowly modifying to all metal suspension and drive train and 370 motor with metal trans. All electronics are stock however. I need to ask a few things to get to the next step. I want to put a roof mounted light bar on it and I see some unused plugs on the controller board. Can any of them be used for powering the light bar? And will I be able to use the stock radio or will I need one with more on-off power switches? I also hear the 370 motor I've ordered may overload the controller with a stock battery, but not sure if my uprated battery will solve that (if it is in fact a real issue?) Lastly, are there spec for front-end alignment. Mt D12 is a bit too darty and no matter how ell I trim, steering doesn't always come back to 0. The joints are not bound up att all and everything is locktighted. just alignment needs more tow or sompthin. Any help is appreciated. I am more dangerous than knowledgable. PS. I'm asking these same questions on several D12 vids hoping to get answers, so sorry if you see this more than once in your YT D12 travels.
This model has a lot of accessories etc. Take a doubt Do you have any rear axle that you can exchange for one that is unlocked? Because this is the rear wheels blok wheel 🇧🇷
What are the wheel adapters that you are saying? No links.. I actually had the same idea! Already have the wheels, shaft, and 370 motor, But am still waiting for my car to arrive... :(
double the wheels at back and you got a Mudrunner/spintires old rescue vehicle, poor at offroad but decent at pulling/hauling(double as not 6 wheeles but two pulling wheels side by side some old trucks do, i believe old fords have it?)
Does anyone have a tip how i could fix that the left wheel at the front the under swing arm snaps loose? When i drive and there is a little obstacle on the road the swing arm snaps loose...
Your enthusiasm about the cars make them so enjoyable to watch, and now I've found a new project...
Wish he gave more technical information about the modifications done, like how the arms were bent, or exactly what motor/esc are in it.
Your enthusiasm and attitude are great! You’ve earned my subscription! As a newbie to RC, I really appreciate your inclusive mindset. Thanks for being so welcoming to people trying to get into the hobby!
Love it! Should do crawler 4wd version with D12 body 🤘

This is what I was looking for also.
Me too…lots of these videos mention they will list items or provide links but never do.

Man I’ve had mine for a while and still tons of fun. The upgrades are definitely the biggest appeal because of the price🔥🔥

You hit the nail on the head.. a big part of the hobby is certainly making your models your own! Nice job on the modded truck! Thanks for sharing
They really are a great platform to upgrade/convert into whatever you need.
I love the work you guys do
I adore these. I have one now but a couple on order for future builds. I have used so many WPL parts for lots of projects.
Definitely love the looks of these cars, and the scale options for them are astounding now... I love those rcs
so good
That thing looks like a blast!!
Nice work! The heat gun trick for getting the lift on the front was pretty boss I must say 👍
That looks like a blast! I love the mods to the WPL...perfection!
they are stepping it up.
Great idea with the lift. Would love to see a true 4X4 conversion and the newer body as an option as well. Maybe even a van or few...
That thing is AWESOME just ordered a d12 omg i cant wait to get it. Love the channel man!!!
You are a lot of fun. No stress man. More power to you ✌️ I have worked on full size cars all of my life but I love working on RV sooo much more. 🤷♂️
many more cheap options.
Thank you for this awesome video!!! I love watching these!
The green Kei truck looks great!
Persenolizing rc is so fun. Good video
You can't watch this guy and not smile😊
Dude. You guys killed it with this little truck👊😜 Great fun to watch. Can’t imagine the fun of actually playing with that setup. Cheers and thanks for sharing 😜🍻
I got one just after watching your vid. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
I’m really hoping they release an AWD version of the D12 or the D42. I love the way that looks, it’s exactly what I hope to build.
Awesome lifted 12 bro! 👏
Please give WPL a message so we can have you join the team 😁
Welcome to the family! 🐉
Really cool build 🤙
That was a cool.made it even better

You should get one of the wpl 4x4s. Those are alot of fun. Kit or rtr
I have tried some wpl upgrade stuff, I wish you the best of luck but I bet after a short time that brushless motor is going to eat that drivetrain alive. I am planning on buying and making a version of this and putting dirtbikes in the back.
Lookz Awesome Mate!! Good JoB!! YesSiRr!!
"The drifter is having problem right now" LOL
Take a wpl d12 and put it on a wpl c24 chasis and you got a kei truck rock crawler. Your kinda behind, folks have been building these for a year or so.
Is there any way to get more information about how you bent the front end like that? I want to try but scared to mess it up.
You have a stock one, a lifted one & a drifter. All you're missing now is a 4X4 conversion! Didn't see any parts links. Interested in wheels, adapters, tires, motor, etc.
exactly. This one needs 4wd
Nice truck.
Thanks, this video was awesome...
It's insane but I LOVE it ❤👍
Love the videos, can't wait till I get my next $$$$$....,.,.lol...

Popular car models 😊😊😊
I have a real kei truck, I love it, the Japanese call them Mini Brutes
I Surrender! I now have to have one of these!
You will be assimilated! :0
hello, do you have a link to the off road wheel set?
You can get the real thing just gots to be 25 years old,the Honda 4x4 ones are awesome you can get them for like 2-5k
Im trying to understand how bending the front bottom arms straight, how does that add height to it if the top arm cannot go any further down? what other modification was done in the front other than just bending the bottom arm?
How did the front get lifted exactly? Looking at the lowet control arms, even if I straighted them, the upper arms bottom out.
I like Rc control car
what are the wheels on the utility truck? Love it.
Looks like a wpl c34 wheels

很想知道高腳的那台是哪個型號的輪胎呢? 是我見過D12最完美的改造 雖然不是4X4但是跟真實的車況是最完美的
Can you show us how you lifted the front ?
Awesome but you need a driver. Thanks for the video.
This model has a lot of accessories etc. Take a doubt Do you have any rear axle that you can exchange for one that is unlocked? Because this is the rear wheels blok wheel
🇧🇷
where did you put the battery with the brushless motor? are you using lipo?
Do you think its safe to assume that most of the upgrades on the d12 could work for the d42?
What are the wheel adapters that you are saying? No links.. I actually had the same idea! Already have the wheels, shaft, and 370 motor, But am still waiting for my car to arrive... :(
Love it!! Great video!!
What wheels and tires are you using?? Thanks
what it you wide body it with like a half inch on either side, to add stability so it won't flip?
double the wheels at back and you got a Mudrunner/spintires old rescue vehicle, poor at offroad but decent at pulling/hauling(double as not 6 wheeles but two pulling wheels side by side some old trucks do, i believe old fords have it?)
Hey what type of wheels are those and did you need to dremel the body ?
step by step brushless conversion video pleeaassseeee.....
That's what I would do. Maybe lo k the rear diff. Definitely leave it four wheel drive
what green is that? i mean the colour code, so nice the colour
Does anyone have a tip how i could fix that the left wheel at the front the under swing arm snaps loose? When i drive and there is a little obstacle on the road the swing arm snaps loose...
Can you tell us where did you buy front fenders please ?
hi, can i know where to get this upsize tyre and rims?
Awesome Video! Is it Flysky compatible?
Is this 1/10 scale or 1/16 interested in ordering one
Mod list with links would be awesome.
3:34 Hope you don’t have to use the spare 😂
😆
😂
Amazing color ! What have you used ?
it's hand mixed.
@@RCReviewChannel great thanks 😊
It would be pretty cool of it could be converted to 4wd.
That's what it really needs
@@RCReviewChannel maybe a straight axel conversion. Seams the easiest option to make it happen
What wheels and tires are they?
Is Banggood a safe website to order from?
