That was fun...but, I wouldn't have considered this video as finding out "which is the fastest". It's more like "finding which was the slowest"...lol. Either way, still looked like fun. 🤙🏼

Just bought a D42, I love the little thing
I bought my first wpl product in December of 2022. That was a D42. By March 2023 I have 2x D42 and 3x D12 cars 😅
Currently awaiting delivery of a full metal kit and brushless kit for a D12. 🛻💨
a drift build of one of these would be SICK
Haha there slow, but it looks like so much fun. slow doesnt mean boring. in fact I would say that a whole bunch of stock racing cars is funner than the really serious modified classes.

Ooo i think your yellow D42 is the earlier batch
The later D42 comes with a soft front torsion spring and extra piece of hard one in the package because Huang like it soft that looks good but some customers are complaining that it's hitting the fender.
Would be interesting to compare to a stock D12 on the same track to see what the improvement is (i still have a stock one if you want to borrow it mate !)
The new versions are cool, love the suspension improvements, love that they are now licenced. Love the new boxes !

The bus is obviously more top heavy, but I think that softer suspension might be helping the newer ones, too.
It might sound counter intuitive, but sometimes having suspension that's TOO firm can make a vehicle prone to rolling just as much as having too much body roll, especially when it comes to rolling as you come off the throttle.
Time to throw a brushless motor with a 4s lipo in those and have some real fun!

I have an origional D12 i painted green like Bubbles' from Trailer Park Boys and squeezed in a Tamiya Sport tuned 370 and hobbywing 1625.
Neat little scale trucks.
I love my Clio Van!!
I have the single cab in 6 colors! And the van in 4.
what's going on from usa great content nice to see you can have fun without killing your investment have lots of big name cars my all time go to my ARRMA senton 3s 4x4 up grades a plenty so fast and powerful have to run beadlocks it ripps glued tires like mad and has tore the center out of wheels well recomended keep up the good work

If you keep showing these D model WPL's I'm going have to buy 1 or more...always liked them but they didn't have tire shredding skate park jumping hair on fire thrill that made me want to pull the trigger but the drifting potential has me looking in my wallet for a few$$$, going to do lt soon...they look fun...

ngl I'd build a little lift kit for them and make them offroaders, I see a lot of people make these into drift trucks or show trucks, but I don't see a whole lot of lifted, rock crawler, offroad types which the real life ones do get lifted from time to time.

P.S. You’re going to have some head on collisions with the open corners on this track (shared apron, so to speak).
You should run the D12 and the D12 Mini on the same track as well!!

380 🤔. surpass do a 380 sensored brushless called the rocket supersonic in a 8.5 10.5 and a 17.5 turn motors that might be good for those.
With the upgraded metal gears and axle… it will certainly be a rocket!

1:20 that technique is called embossing. Quite expensive to do actually.

NEED HELP WITH MY D12: I upgraded my D12 to all metal chassis, 370 motor and metal trans and upgraded suspension. If I put any kind of load on the motor, either the radio completely loses its signal to the truck (headlights flash) until I re-bind OR the truck suddenly loses signal until I stop the load w/o making me re-bind It does not do this at all if I have no load on the truck by holding it off the ground. This is real annoying and I'm wondering if I was supposed the remove the capacitor off the old 260 motor and solder it onto the 370? Any ideas why it's doing this? BTW... I'm asking this question on several D12 videos so sorry if you see my question elsewhere. I'll try to remove it when this issue is resolved.
