I'd love to have a real one just for a little around town grocery grabber, they get about 75 miles per gallon all day. for me it'd only be filling the tank 2-3 times a year!

That thing is far more capable than it has any right to be, and it looks like all it needs to be able to haul whatever you can put in the back is a better motor, ESC, and possibly axle/driveshaft. Can't wait for mine to show up! Might build a trailer for mine.

That turning angle is going to be great for drifting. Loved the C24, you can really load that up, insane! Great video and fun way to test it out. Great work :)
The noise is low frequency PWM from the ESC, a replacement higher quality speed controller would use a higher frequency for PWM and you would not hear the motor.
Great to see the Suzuki super carry being put to work, definitely need to make yourself a little road going to and from the new rock crawling site as I'm sure you will have a lot more building materials to deliver.
aha, a little Gabriel Silvaz action there with the C-24 bodied B-1 frame. he did some neat things with scratch built leaf springs and shackles to get lots more flex than a stock C frame does, almost 2 years ago on that stuff now, learned lots of WPL tips from him. oh that poor rear tire, looks like bent rim or axle its wobbling so hard.
I'm def looking forward to the release of the D12. Such a neat looking rig and very surprised that it carried as much weight it did,especially with that size motor. Great ending,the D12 def got the help 😆
I added some rubber bump stops above the rear axle where the bolts for the leaf spring are. Works perfectly under a full load as the rear wheels no longer bind with the rear cargo tray's underside
I got myself a D12 last week (cos it's so adorable!!!) and it's so fun, only downside to it I found is I can't connect up the lighting package I got to go with it to the ESC (bearing in mind I'm an utter noob with moddable RC stuff), so can't do the brake & reverse light functions, indicators work though which is just so cute on such a little truck... :D

And could you like a drift truck setup similar to Ken Block's Drift truck on that little delivery truck? Maybe a early 80's body Toyota or a Nissan? Love the video as always. Freaking awesome. I hope its a classic early 70's 240Z, or a 1976 Datsun 620 pickup. another might be the Datsun 510 that did so well in its class rally racing.
D12 definitely not an off roader or hauler but awesome looking to carry around barricades, cones and shovels and 6:13 he hot the 3 wheel motion C14 1.) Who needs wooden slats to drive on? 2.) Barricade what? Lol
Its a WPL. They're not great, but I have em all. Have upgraded most with the 370 motor. 2 sp trans. metal D-shafts, axle and housings, LEDs, and soft tires, wheel weights, 3-wire servo. and spent almost nothing. I love WPL. Been waiting on a bigger 1/10 or 1/12 scale. Gotta add a WPL alum 2-sp trans and a front dif .

I tried to tow my HG P408 Humvee this arvo using the lil D12...I got the dreaded stinky circuit board too but thankfully the motor seems fine...and this is with an open differential on the D12 too 😅
@@TomleyRC the C-24 and the B-1 were fairly simple swaps, but did have to cut the fronts of the B-1 rails off about 3/8" worth to get under the cab on the drift truck. chopped off behind the rear spring "ear rings" (they called them that why?) just to lose a little weight in the back. it'd be pretty cool if C-24 body did fit that D-12 chassis, might need a little clearencing at the battery tray, rear of cab, and seats. btw, it does look like there's just barely enough room to slip a 180 motor into the D-12, will give quite a bit more torque "on tap" to break the wheels loose through more of the throttle range. few days ago mentioned it in e-mails back and forth with WPL's sales rep guy.. that I'd popped a 280 motor into the MN-D90 here to replace the 260 motor of MN's gearbox. a 280 is about 3 bucks in eBay, but over there its probably 10 cents more than a 260 motor. I wouldn't be surprised if the new batch of these ready to drift comes with a 280 motor in them stock out the box. (I'll pat myself on the back now tho TYVM.. LMAO!)
Still waiting on my c24km(taking forever to shipout) rc less right now fc model jeep gears are snaggle tooth now and the shafts spinning inside the wheel hub/steering knuckle due to no screw or pin to prevent. =/ But this video was awesome! Makes me more excited for the c24km and the d12!! omg Most likely to be my first 1/10. Im not broke but..im finding out this hobby can be costly but damn I love that d12. Reminds me of the philippines I used to see them everywhere over there.

It's the same wheelbase as the 1/16 ones... so there is scope for converting with a B Chassis

No kit for the D12... but generally the tyres are better for the kits
More traction just means it is easier to fry the motor. Remember, we usually move failure modes, not eliminate them.
What id like to know is how slow it can go in reverse, can u do a video of slow speed revetsing ? Nobody covers this.
