I have some 4 petunias right now that are MASSIVE and in the stock pot. I have 4 decorative larger and deeper pots . One of the stock pots hooks is beginning to bend under the weight of the flowers. I am considering repotting them into the bigger decorative pots. Do you think it is too late into the season? Currently August. Thanks.
Depends on where you are located. Here in Michigan we could potentially only have a month before frost, so for us it wouldn’t be worth it. If they’re still looking good and not hard to keep watered, I’d skip the repot for this season.
We’re on the border of zones 4 & 5. These examples are all annuals, so if they’re readily available in your area, you should have similar results… unless your area has an extreme climate.
