One fact that you didn't mention which was very interesting was that Naughty dog placed a very large text file at the center of the disc for Crash bandicoot which pushed most of the other information to the outside of the disc. This was because the outer rim of the disc spun faster which allowed load times to be faster for such a technologically advanced game of its time.
Naughty Dog was innovative, you gotta admit that

It also increased the file size of the game to avoid having people pirate the game.
They named a fossil "Crash Bandicoot?" That's so cool!
They also named a protein "Sonic hedgehog".

Fact 108: In CTR's victory circles, the four female bandicoots in those circles are named Megumi, Liz, Amy and Isabella. All became competitors in CTR Nitro Fueled.
They're also named after the women who worked on the game, Megumi is also responsible for the Crash Dance

The exact purpose WAS confirmed by a developer on Facebook. It was really meant to be the opening and ending cutscenes to the game. It was scrapped because Sony wanted to focus more on the 3D aspect (which I feel was for the best). It was never meant to be a cartoon show, but if it had stayed in the game, it may have spun off into one eventually.
If done correctly, Crash Bandicoot may make a good cartoon show.
I think wrath of cortex is underrated so many new aspects while keeping in touch with the old. Like running towards the screen from a beast, while new ones were used, the hamster ball levels and the exoskeleton suit and the water levels. Wrath of cortex doesn't get enough love
Chilly Dawg No doubt, the main problem was the loading screens took longer than the actual levels. That's the only gripe anyone has that has a leg to stand on. They did take forever tho

The only problem I have with the n-sane trilogy is....
Crash has 4 fingers instead of 5...

but....he had four fingers....maybe. His polygons in the originals did not allow for seperated fingers. In fact, the only game I can think of that has him with five fingers is Twinsanity.

Vloopity Doopy really? I'm just overjoyed to see Crash come back again! I never thought I'd see him again. I don't care about his fingers. From what I can see, his design and everything else looks spot on. I'm soo happy!
I have to think that's an homage to the traditional way cartoon characters are drawn with only four fingers. It goes back at least to Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willie (sometimes it looks like Mickey had five fingers in that short though it's usually four). The Simpsons and many others did the same.
I just think his hands would look better with five fingers.
In holland the wumpa froot are also called apples. A lot of years ago a Crash game and a Spyro game came out in the same year or at least in Holland they did) You could get Crash and Spyro toys in a happy meal at MCdonalds, and if you chose the Crash toys you would also get a free apple alongside your toy.
What about the fact that as successful as crash warped was naughty dog had to rush the game and left unfinished levels and world on pressure of universal studios to release the game, otherwise the game would've been much much more bigger
Mark Mothersbaugh didn't write the music, only Josh Mancell did. Mark's name is in the credits because of his studio Mutato Muzika, which Josh Mancell was a member of at the time

Well, if Crash had to speak for whatever reason, by all means it makes sense that he would have an Australian accent. That being said, the voice they used doesn't sound particularly authentic, and could have been done much better.

I’m young and I know it used to be PS1 exclusive. The first Crash game I played was the first game on PS1. (I got it for Christmas last year.) It’s hard but fun.

I always loved crash bandicoot warped since the first time I played back in 1999. The game is based in time traveling and I'm huge fan of time travel novels, movies, series, and games. Also I really liked Dr. Cortex voice from Crash 2 and 3. In CTR I like to play as Crash and N. Tropy.

Crash Twinsanity was my favourite Crash Bandicoot game, I played the living hell outta it, I played it so often I had to buy a second copy of the game, BEST CHILDHOOD EVER 😃

My favorite crash game is Twinsanity. Specially for Cortex. We see a lot more from him than in all the other games combined! Also, the music and the bosses were perfect.

I remember when I was a kid playing Crash Team Racing and me, my sisters and my cousins trying to figure out what Aku Aku and Uka Uka were saying. Some of us thought Aku Aku was saying, "Hu-La-Ga," but others thought it was, "Hu-Ga-La." My cousin was pretty sure Uka Uka said, "Ga-Hu-Da," but I swear I heard, "Grr-Hu-Ah." We argued about this for years...

Spazbo4 2 is the best one while 1 is the second best. Warped is definitely a great game, but not as good as the others imo
I prefer Warped over 2.
Spazbo4 As a hardcore fan . They all actually all feel different and good in their own ways. Not gameplay wise but in what the games content consists of.
Warped was great, but I didn't like how a big chunk of the levels weren't strictly traditional crash platformers. When you consider the 2 underwater levels, 3 jet ski levels, 3 (I think) motorbike levels, 2 puma levels, 2 blimp levels... That's a lot!

What's interesting is when talking about the doctors with N. in their title, several non-existing ones are mentioned, such as N.Twine and such. These other doctor names actually came from Traveller's Tales (Oxford)'s concepts for a Cortex game that was never developed beyond the concept stage. Kinda impressed they were mentioned, though.

When I got a Playstation as a kid my first game for it was Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. I would spend hours into the night playing it, sometimes myself, sometimes with my dad. It's become my favorite of the series, as much as I also love Warped.
Words cannot describe how long crash has been a part of my life lol I remember being 5 and this was the first game I ever got. I was immediately hooked

I love Crash, was my first game on the PlayStation (with NFS3: Hot Pursuit) and has been one of my best memories as a child. I bought a PS4 just because of the Remastered Trilogy and oh boy I can't wait to play again 2 and Warped.

All these comments about twinsanity are making my head spin. Maybe I'm just older than these kids but that game was absolute buttcheeks compared to the original 3. Side note: Wrath of Cortex is super underrated because of and ONLY because of the long load screens, besides that, that game was phenomenal too in my opinion
It's shame really. Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity are two of my most favorite crash games. Did you know that Wrath of Cortex was supposed to be the original Twinsanity, but the developers didn't have enough time

Strongly disagree. Cnk and Wrath of Cortex were decent but felt lacking compared to the ps1 games. It took til Twinsanity for me to really be excited about Crash again. Too bad it was never finished properly.
