It's hilarious because in one of the sonic boom episodes....knuckles actually made a reference to sonic's middle name and made a joke about it. While sonic said that danger or speed was his middle name knuckles said "I thought your middle name was the" and that was pretty hilarious XD
Wow! And I Thought I was the only one who noticed. Yeah, Sonic Boom is a pretty dumb show, but I can't help but congratulate it when throws in clever jokes like that. It's almost like the cartoon's creators occasionally do their research!
That One To me the show is "dumb funny"....do you know what I mean..... the show is dumb but because of its stupidity it's hilarious.

XD Besides, even though Sonic Boom isn't nearly as serious nor episodic as Sonic X, I like it much better. With all the stuff Sonic has been through to be more serious and plot driven, Boom is a lot like the original animated series: dumb, silly, Robotnik was a dork, the ridiculous comic reliefs (in Boom's case, Orbot and Cubot :3), all of it being kind of a breath of air for the Blue Blur.

A big Sonic fan, yet you got quite a few of these facts wrong or shoddy information regarding the fact.
Sonic cannot run at the speed of Light. He needs to transform into Super Sonic to reach that speed.
Sonic did not commit suicide if you waited too long in Sonic CD. He simply jumped off the stage if you took too long, as if leaving to find something better to do. There is nothing that hints at him killing himself.
The Sonic CD spooky screen's "Majin" does not actually translate to Devil. It has no direct translation, but the English equivalent would be Demon or Devil, as in a devil, not THE Devil.
Feel the Rabbit not only evolved into Ristar, but it was also referenced in the games Project Rub (Feel the Magic XX/XY) and Rub Rabbits in the protagonist group the "Rub Rabbits".
The Armadillo was actually called Mighty, and would later be reused as one of the protagonists in Knuckles Chaotix.
Number 32 is incorrect, Mario actually moved twice as fast in Super Mario Bros when compared to Sonic, see the Game Theory's "How Fast Is Sonic" for that one. (unless you're talking about how fast he's meant to be, but it wasn't made clear)
Sonic actually regained his Fangs in Sonic Adventure, but oddly lost them again in future installments.
Pretty sure you mentioned that Sonic Spinball had elements of the TV show in it twice.
A Chaos Emerald has never been the reward for collecting 50 rings. Collecting 50 rings just opens up the warp ring at the end of the stage (or through out the stage in Sonic 3) to give you the Bonus Stage and the chance to earn the Chaos Emerald.
Technically, Blaze has never used a Super transformation. The Sol Emeralds transformed her into Burning Blaze.
The teleport Box only appeared in 2 player vs mode, where both players had to race to the end of a modified stage.
Why was the Warp Ring split up from the fact that mentioned collecting 50 rings rewards the player with a Chaos Emerald? Filler much?

+The Ramos Online Well you'd be right about the Game Theory thing, if Matpat hadn't made some miscalculations. For one thing, he based his building length on memory, and he used Sonic's modern height on his classic form, which is a huge mistake, because classic Sonic is much smaller than his older version. Also using Super Mario Bros is kind of improbable because Mario had no fix height at the time, that and he used Smash Bros for height reference, a game series that scales everyone's height.
Also, while it maybe animation only, Sonic CD actually shows the blue blur going quite fast, and in the scene where he leaps onto the chain link s, you can see for a brief second the water near where he launched rippled, meaning he had to have some relatively high speed to do so.
Ninjathehedgehog800 We're not talking about actual speed. Mattpat got the actual speed wrong, but the part about Mario moving faster than Sonic in their respective games was spot on. 10 seconds of movement in both games on a flat surface and you'll find Mario moved further than Sonic.

“Miles Tails”? Tails’ last name is Prower, with his full name being a pun on “miles per hour”, a reference to Sonic’s speed. “Tails” is a nickname.
The guy who played Urkle also voiced Sonya in the cartoon. He voiced all three of the main hedgehogs

I remember in the Sonic novels released in the early 90's, which were set after Sonic 2, it explains that Sonic needs to eat an insanely large amount of food because after he gained his super speed, his metabolism sped up by an insane amount.

I know I may have already said this before, but this was quite an impressive list of facts about Sonic that you have featured in this video, and being the avid Sonic fan that I am, I was able to learn about many of these facts before checking out the video while learning some new ones that I didn't know about. :D
BTW, I wasn't at all disappointed when playing as Sonic in "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" because he has really tight control that made it easy for him to score combos with his attacks, and his Final Smash was pretty epic to those who miss seeing Sonic turn into his Super form after collecting 50+ rings at any time.
This was a very comprehensive and well put together list! I actually learned some things I didn't know, and that's really saying something! Well done!

About number ninety-three, to be more specific, the early games rewarded reaching certain points while carrying fifty rings with access to a special stage in which the player could then earn a chaos emerald. These included the end of the stage (in Sonic 1) and checkpoints (in Sonic 2).

Is it me, or do all of the hedgehog characters seem BA? Like they all can move really fast, Silver had psychic powers, Shadow has some kind of shoes that give him Sonic-like speed with what seems like little effort, and Sonic has been around so long, and is the good guy. Plus they all look pretty cool. Sure the other characters have abilities as well, but almost all of them are different... Species(?) of animals, so basically the reason that they seem more BA than the others is they're 3 of them versus like 1. I honestly love Sonic, but if you watch DidYouKnowGaming's video you learn the weird backstory to Shadow... Which made me think "what the absolute heck?" Perhaps you can look into more sonic facts, then give us more details on these, or give us ones that you didn't previously discuss... Like the one I talked about. Also I did see the entire video rather than just listening to it BTW. I also caught where you made some of the numbers words rather than the actual (Characters cap)

I know this is an old video but anyway I see a few comments about a missing number, well there was also 1 double number so the amount of facts in the title is still the correct amount shown in the video. Also I'm guessing like most people who watched this I knew nearly every fact in this video apart from about 6-7 roughly, can't remember exactly how many but even so I found the whole video interesting all the way through and watched the whole lot in one go. Not many people could get me to watch a list of facts that I already known for that long so that is saying something about you and your content. Of course the fact it was about sonic helped but still you know how to make a good video and give the details and information etc that you are talking about some character and life.
