I crochet while watching your videos. Love the necklace! I have been thinking of making one before but didnt know how to make it work, now this is on my wishinglist over things to crochet, thankyou! Irish crochet is beutiful.
What a lovely combination of textures in your packet of implements. I am so happy and delighted to have stumbled upon your viewings. I'd live to learn to do what you do. I am a visual learner, so enjoy your teachings. Thank you!
Firstly, a big huge congratulations on reaching 30k subscribers! Secondly, I would love to learn Irish crochet. Finally, thank you so much for sharing your creativity. You are an inspiration!
I've been watching your videos for a while now, you never fail to inspire me. There are so many projects that I have done and loved that I would have never known about if it wasn't for you and your videos! My favourite I've tried so far is making a kawandi. Crochet is my primary craft and you have yet again filled me with inspiration and I'll certainly be attempting a fusion quilt. I'm so happy for you that your fusion crochet video got so many views, you're a great teacher.
Oh Marion ! How beautiful your quilt is ! Looks gorgeous on your settee !!! I love the cat sitting there too!!!! Love your necklace too. Thank you so much !
A tribute to a very dear and long gone Lilac Point Siamese cat called Sassy. I added her stitched portrait to a pattern I found in a book for long stitch tapestry.
Would absolutely love to see Irish crochet. Just about to watch you do the little flower as I love doing flowers on my blankets and just did my new grand-daughters (going to be born in November) blanket with little flowers all over and a big rose in the corner. Really easy following your corochet as you use English terms as I do (in Australia). You're a great teacher. Well....I followed your little flower and realised I've been doing Irish crochet all along. Lololol. As these are my favourite flowers to do and do them all the time. Haha. Thankyou Marion. Yes would love to see more Irish crochet. Thankyou for teaching what a foundation chain is too. ❤❤❤ Happy birthday beautiful lady. 🎉⭐🌷🌹🎂🎂🧁🍬🍫🍰🍦🍿❤❤❤
Thank you Marion for another wonderful tutorial. They are always something I would love to try. Your quilt is beautiful and I like the necklace also. Yes, I would like to see more of the Irish Crochet. I’m looking forward to seeing some of your visit to Scotland.
Beautiful finish to your fusion quilt Marion. It has a very vintage look to it. Haven't heard of Irish crochet before but your flowers are very cute.👏♥️🇦🇺

I have learnt so much from you Marion , things I didn't know I could do and I really look forward to watching your tutorials .❤ xx
Absolutely lovely fusion quilt, Marion ❤. Thank you for the super easy instructions. I've started preparing all my pieces for making one for myself... just need to make a few scrappy blocks. The crochet edging is gorgeous!! And I love ❤ the flowers!! I'd never heard of "Irish crochet", but I'd love to learn more about it. Thank you for all that you share. I ❤❤❤ Marion's World!!! 31K subscribers 🎉🎉🎉 love you, too ❤😂❤
You do make some very beautiful things. I have "2 left feet" when it comes to knitting and crochet. I'm very happy to watch your instruction and hope something might fix by osmosis! Yes, Irish crochet. I feel like the more techniques I see you using, the more I understand how I can extend or improve my own skills. Thank you so much for being so generous in your skill sharing.
Hi Marion, I am going to try the Irish Crochet Flowers! Please show us more Irish Crochet. Your Fusion quilt is amazing. I didn't know how useful blanket stitches were! Thank you for sharing.
I just love your videos and all your projects. I would also like to see more Irish crochet. I recently started watching and now am in the process of watching all your past videos whenever I have a spare minute. You are so inspiring.
OMG this is so adorable! I’ve never tried crochet before and I might have to start now because those wee flowers are the prettiest thing. Also, CONGRATS on reaching 30K subscribers Marion….. ❤❤❤
Today was laundry day and it was a long one. I finally folded the last load and got to relax and watch your latest video. It is late, but before I nod off to sleep, I had to tell you how delightful it was to see the finishing touches on your quilt and your sweet necklace. The quilt just made your settee look that much cozier and the cat pillow was simply to die for. Having read some of the comments I think Sassy for a cats name just delicious. It is precious that you made such a wonderful pillow in honor of your cat. It makes it even more special. Your settee made me think of by-gone days, when I would sit on a couch much like that, my small children snuggled in on either side, as I read them childrens stories. One of their favorite books was one that belonged to their grandma when she was little, called, "Me And My Pussie's." I just love that book and was so delighted to be given it. When I saw your lovely quilt there and how things were so sweetly arranged it just took me back. Thank you for the lovely work you do. It is such a pleasure watching. May you have a God blessed day! 😊❤
Thanks Lesa. It sounds like you were worn out... Sassy was named after the cat in one of the best movies ever... Homeward Bound. She was a rescue Siamese and lived a good long life with us... I stitched her portrait whilst she was still with us. 🐱 I do have quite an old fashioned house in some ways, there's lots of colour around though. I'm pleased it brought back happy memories ☺️
@@marionsworld24 I was a bit frayed around the edges to be sure. Nothing a bit of sleep couldn't fix tho. I was behind in my laundry because my son and I spent days making pear sauce out of 80 pounds of pears we gleaned. I just guess I overdid it a bit trying to do it all. I will be 65 in October and I guess my spring chicken days are over. 😆 I do remember Homeward Bound, it was my youngest sons favorite movie. He watched it so much he wore the vhs tape out. I do so enjoy your content and I also surround myself with homemade or old fashioned things. Especially if they are linked to pleasant memories. I also wanted to congratulate you on your quilt video taking off like a rocket. I can't think of a better more deserving person than you. I wish you all the joy in the world, and many more years of happy stitching! 😊 ❤️
I'd love to learn more Irish crochet!!! Why is it called Irish crochet? Your new, finished Fusion quilt looks so great on your couch and I LOVE the cat--how has that been made? You are a treasure to all THIRTY THOUSAND+ of us now!!!!
Thank you so much!!!!! Very simple crochet but stunning results! LOVE the Irish Crochet flowers! I have an heirloom (to me) doily that my Grandmother had and I was given after she passed and I cherish it. I’ve always wondered how to do the little flowers on it! Now I know! ❤❤❤ I’m not surprised that this quilt went viral!
I'd enjoy watching and learning Irish Crochet from you. I have dabbled with it a little but so very much more to learn. I haven't really got anything accomplished with it yet to speak of. Thank you for asking!
I adore the way you teach & explain things - Marion, you are SO generous with your knowledge and expertise. This quilt has encouraged me to dig out yarn I got years ago & I'm learning to crochet now. 😂 I love your open-minded, inclusive approach where I feel I could learn even if I didn't grow up doing anything like this.... thank you!
A lovely message to read thank you. I really do believe that we all have creativity within us... It just needs a helping hand sometimes to get us started...
Thank you so so much Marion! I LOVE making crochet flowers and this is a wonderful pattern, Thank you so much for sharing it, Sincerely, Kate from Australia.😊❤❤
Thank you for showing us how to do fusion crochet and the flowers. I remember doing flowers something like these for doilies back in the 80's. I have also been watching a you tube channel that borders their quilts with crochet edging. I had never seen that before but i think it is something from back in the day. The camera work was just fine and I could follow no problem. Thanks again Marion.
Glad you enjoyed it. It's definitely something from a while ago. I've had this half finished for years! Thank you for telling me the camera was fine too. Sometimes I struggle to get the filming right...
In Portugal they do that with fine linen fabric and fine cotton crochet, it is a bit of dying craft, and some people hold on to their family heirlooms religiously. And you translated it into patchwork - I love it.
Would love to learn some Irish crochet. My maternal grandfather was first generation Irish to America, but I never met him. I like discovering the culture of my biological ancestors. It often explains much about myself. ☺❤
YES, Irish Crochet. Love it. I don't know if anyone has said it before, but I am going to say it anyways is that you make things that are practical and sew enjoyable to make. Thank you for your Time and Love that you share with us all. Big huge Hugs Marion xx x

Thank you Marion for your video and as always demonstrating carefully and thoroughly the techniques you are/have used with your project. We in TH-cam land are so grateful to learn from your experience and expertise. Well done in reaching another milestone subscription count. I am trying so much more techniques and having so much fun. Inktense arrived this afternoon so going to try to dye some thread. Never thought I would be doing that.
Thank you. Oh you'll love experimenting with the Inktense. Of course they're great for fabric and threads to get just the right colour. But I've used them to stain wood too and they worked perfectly.
Dear Marion…Am so excited to hear about your trip to Scotland. Im sure spending your birthday with Wendy made it even more special. Yes I made the cushion many years ago... It's a portrait of a very dear Siamese cat called Sassy..
Boy, those three colors that you showed the yarn differences with sure do look pretty together! Love the quilt.
The blue wool is actually from another knitted sweater that is waiting for the Yell cardigan to be finished so it can be started!
Marion, that is absolutely beautiful!!! I am so glad that you have done a tutorial for us. Today I received a package in the mail which came in a 6 inch square box. I took it as a sign to start making my squared for this quilt. Thank you!!!🥰
I think you might be right Ann... A box to fill most definitely!

Thank you for sharing. So pretty.
Yes please to the Irish crochet ❤ your quilt is lovely and has inspired me to make one using some of my old tatty embroidered tablecloths :-)
They'd show off perfectly as squares... I can almost see it now!
I can’t wait to try those flowers. Thank you for showing us. So happy you finished your fusion quilt.
Me too ☺️💐
Slightly off topic, having watched your slow stitching the other day, I decided after much trouble with thick material and a way ward zip on upholstery fabric. I hand stitched the darn thing in. I finally hand sewed it in after 3 attempts with the machine. Normally fine on dresses etc. This time it was great fun, at least I know I can do it now. Thanks for the inspiration
Pleased to hear it. Quite often I think it would take me longer to set up the machine when I could just hand sew in not much longer a time!
love your flowers too. much better than other demos I've seen
Thank you Barbara..
Your quilt is truly a work of art. Thank for sharing and demonstrating the process so beautifully ❤ I love every moment of your
