That's an amazing detailed & informative video. This vehicle dash cam features are good and is definitely a best buy. Thanks for all the links and product facts. Keep up the good work 👍 AWESOME 👏
At 11:49, and later in the video, your math on filling up the memory card is wrong. For example, on the first line with 1920 resolution you correctly show 423 clips, however, these are 3 minute clips and 423 * 3 minutes = 1,269 minutes. 1,269 minutes is about 21 hours. So, as @pbluver also pointed out, the third column should be hours, not minutes. Otherwise, the video was very well made.
what info do you have about the FITCAMX CPL Filter Anti-Glare Circular Polarizing Lens? is it needed does it make a significant improvement for the extra cost?
Hi Barry, great question. I’ve debated getting the cpl filter. I watched some videos of folks who have it and to be honest, I just can’t see much of a benefit to it. It looks like it does help on those really sunny days as it reduces the glare somewhat.
Just so I understand correctly.. Does the overwrite time mean that you have 6 minutes to open the app and download the video you want before it gets overwritten because that's quite short?? is there a button on the physical dashcam to download or save the last 5/10 min of footage? cause it might be difficult to have to immediately open the app and download the video after a car crash
Hi, the parking mode requires a separate fuse box unit that costs about $40. After connecting the fuse box, there will be a parking mode function. The parking mode means that the dash camera will start to records while a collision happens. Not continuous video recording. It's basically like a sensor that detects motion/movement and will start recording. It doesn't record 24h
The only good thing about this dash cam is that it is easy to install. It’s missing a gps which would show where the vehicle is and display the speed of the vehicle on captured / saved videos.
Hi there 👋🏼 this could be due to memory card or firmware on the FitCamX camera. I would suggest contacting FitCamX as they would be able to troubleshoot.
I think it’s because FitCamX is a fairly new company compared to some of the other brands out there. They most likely have a marketing strategy to get their product out to the masses. There are some other videos out there comparing it to other dashcams with respect to video quality. Regardless if the product is sponsored or not, I always provide an unbiased opinion and provide any negative feedback or criticisms. Hope to be testing out some other dashcams in the near future and at that point, I’d be able to provide a comparison to FitCamX (since FitCam is my first dashcam). Thanks for watching and the feedback. If you have any questions about the FitCamX, I’ll try to provide you with information, just message here.
Update on the recording timings - at 11:49, the column should show hours and not minutes. Shoutout to @pbluver and @dsviking for catching that!
Great video!
Thank you!!

Yes! Good catch! I was using fuzzy math apparently 🤣 Thanks for that and I'll add a pinned comment as an update. Thanks for watching!

did you mean hours instead of minutes in the 3rd column?
Yes! Good catch!

Hey, so my math was off 😅 I put a pinned comment on this video, apologies for the confusion. It’s actually 6 hours, which should be plenty of time.
Hi,works with the parking mode 24h/24h?

Do u have to use fitcam memory cards or. Can you use another manufacturers?
@@stevenziegler2523 good question. You can use any memory card brand. I use SanDisk extreme microSDXC for my Fitcamx and it works great.

This is true 👆🏽 very easy to install. Good point about the GPS! Maybe they may incorporate it into future models. Thanks for your comment.
it record for 3 min and stop recording for 3 min and repeat y???

Why it is impossible to find non sponsored review of FitcamX and also no direct comparison with other dashcams ? Seems kinda suspicious.

Thx for the video, but maths is absolutely not yours. 😂 6 hours (instead of 6 minutes) with the best resolution is great for a 64GB memory card.
Yeah, see pinned comment 🤣 Just replace the minutes with hours 😂🤣
Why do chinese people love annoying blue leds so much?
@@goPJgoPJ that’s a good question 😂
