Great point about the new CATL factory near Giga Shanghai.
The market took it badly when Tesla announced factory shutdowns to upgrade the lines: "Oh no! Not Investment!"

Post split maybe. All of these investments are going to start to pay off back to back very quickly in the next 2 to 3 years. Then everybody will be whining just like those who didn’t buy a Tesla in 2019.

CT early production is undergoing extreme environment testing with at least one CT flown to the NZ winter proving ground. Likely Sept/Oct and March/April are when new vehicles can be launched - after production versions are extreme environment tested.
Interest rates have significantly impacted deliveries and lead time to get a car.....in my area of USA, delivery is August 2023...this month, and if you want an inventory car it could be tomorrow or Wednesday......

Dream on. When project, Highland and Juniper come out, and the stock is going to go much higher. FSD will be crack by the end of next year. Then the stock will go much higher. The cyber truck will come out in the stock will go much higher. The new model or models will start being produced in Mexico and the stock will go much higher. Just keep waiting for your fall and you will miss the boat.

@@stephenharrison3051 structurally 200 would be a traders wet dream, will it get there, eventually for a macro retest? Time will tell. The narratives will be frustrating for bag holders.

Yes, probably both the M3 and MY are getting the M3P cells. As I said, the new factory is a long way from completion. Proving new production facilities for a new cell takes quite a bit of work. I expect the new cells are first implemented in an existing factory where the changes can be minimised and proof of new production facilities minimised.

I’m just thinking about the shock value of people seeing this thing on the roads; without knowing it was coming. Curiosity will definitely rise.

WuWa seems to think work on the CATL factory 2 km from Giga Shanghai has slowed right down and is focused on landscaping. This correlates with Tesla not getting permission to build a new factory for the Model 2. CATL is probably boosting production at an existing plant for the extra volume that would come from an upgraded Model 3. The new CATL plant is not in a location favoured by workers. Tesla apparently gave its Shanghai workers a 50% pay rise. Perhaps Shanghai wages are another reason CATL has delayed its factory.
The company has a very high PE ratio. And has a very volatile share price. Waiting to buy in again

The first month of the quarter. July. Is when cars are exported to other countries. They have been saying this for over a year and a half.
Short term, no point in trying to predict Tesla stock movements. Often really good news results in a sell off, like the fact that production will be reduced while they upgrade the Model 3...I mean, another buying opportunity if you have cash. Like I said a few years ago, Tesla stock likely to wander around up and down, around the same price for another two to four years, before moving solidly and dramatically up again.
The market is a fleecing operation.
I respect your focus on Tesla production, but are you sure that we have seen the end of the macro depression - I expect the FED run the economy into the ground, as the union workers get better and better deals - leading to continued inflation - while the hollowing out of the office real-estate all follow San Fransisco's lead - with occupacency below 50%. When do you expect we will see signs thats the crisis is over ?
I ask because I believe, that the fall we have seen since the $300 pr stock has been fueled by macro concerns - we will not know how deep this slump goes before Christmas 2023

Could you please explain how you got the new cells make 15 billion dollars gross profit. Not all cars will use them and the save per car is only 6 kWh times 150$.

Lee, you are a forward thinker but most people don't take into consideration the laggard curve for the general population and these backward thinkers also comprise a huge percentage of investors. When Tesla started making huge waves a few years ago the stock went overpriced but then cooled off quickly because Elon was not hitting grand slams on a weekly basis. It seems as though Tesla is now valued the same as a typical car company and the stock price follows that trend. The powers that be in media have vested interests in the status quo and go to great lengths deceiving the general public by outright lying about everything Elon does. It certainly is not surprising even our elected politicians are in the big lie too, Missy Cunningham (appointed by Biden) of NHTSA is just one example. NHTSA uses the compliant media to loudly and proudly announces investigations about the severity of "Tesla crashes and recalls" on a weekly basis. I'm not sure when I will get back into Tesla stock but sometime in the future I certainly will.

Tesla keeps growing, introduces new products, is sold out and the stock goes nowhere. $100 a share is a real possibility.
Quite disppointed for this channel, it becomes more and more a trading channel.
I'm interested to know how others think about FSD. I see the value for robotaxi and owners without driving licences, old people, etc but as an owner who doesn't drive all that much, I personally don't place any value on it and would be unlikely to use it if it was free. What do others think?
You sure have quite the opinion on something that you’ve never used before. You can rent it for $200 a month.
@royphillips7644 I have no use for it. That's just an opinion, not "quite an opinion" which implies some much stronger feeling. I have no problem driving to the shop, down to the beach or into town. Once in a blue moon it might be convenient if it could drive me home from a dinner at a restaurant but otherwise I have no valid use case. I merely wonder how other's feel on the subject.
Besides the obvious convenience of a self-driving car, it also adds value as a safety feature, w/ a suite of sensors helping to prevent accidents.
@Gull452 For me at least, there's very little convenience. Safety is one good point but I'm not sure that the marginal benefit for my circumstances would be worth any additional cost. I think that for a while at least, the opportunity lies in commercial applications.

You are kidding. Right? Tesla has so many advantages over any other car and most people (not us) know so Little about what a Tesla electric car is and can do. Most still think Tesla costs a fortune, but now with costs reductions and the $7500 off (gov), Tesla is affordable to millions more people. Tesla advertisement is really Education.
@@jacka7211 it’s Tesla’s failure to properly market their products that forced the price reductions. Elon thinks advertising is dishonest. Making customers aware of the EV advantages is not equivalent to deceptive advertising. Elon can’t understand the difference because he’s a virtue signaling dope. He should be replaced with Kirkhorn.
