- Let's talk about the new addition to realm: The Samurai class. Here's a run down of what he does and a general synopsis of his play style.

I think giving the Samurai 30 def instead of 25 wouldn't feel too overpowered in any sort of way. Personally I love the approach DECA took with the Samurai. It's better to release a class that's a little under powered then one that is a little over powered. Inconsequential buffs are easier to make then trying to make something over powered more balanced without an over/under nerf.
I agree. Also you got your 30 def now.
This sure has aged. So much powercreep these days it's hard to see Deca releasing someone like Samurai.

The samurai class being released is what got me back into the game, helped me reach my 1st 6/8 ever and now 2 life pots away from being my 1st 8/8. Thanks for the guide and can't love this class enough.

I thought I'd hate the samurai, but here I am at was clean 4/8 and doing just fine!

I think with most of these classes, they all have unique roles and uses, and find them incomparable to one another, the exception being assassin.

I think the samurai could benefit from a slightly higher dex cap, and possibly a buff in waki range to maybe 5 to 5.5

Was kinda hoping the Gardener Ninja skil wasn't for ninja, but samurai, since the reference character herself uses a wakizashi and also attacks similarly with the ability.
You realize you can stretch you screenshot using cubic interpretation in any program and avoid blurred pixelation on low-rez pixel art screenshots and images?

I've played RotMG for 3 years and i somehow didn't have any character with 5 stars. Then the samurai came. I played with him two times and the second time i've reached over 2.5k fame with him... but he's dead now. RIP my best char ever and my only waki of crossing fire

This had been a myth for 2 years now its here : ;) ))
I used to dislike melee classes, since they only work till you max them. And still make you get close and personal to the enemies. But the samurai, while not as tanky, can maneuver more. My new favourite, coming from someone who prefered the priest.

Tbh i think if he had more dex maybe 65 or 70 it would be perfect to use candy coated on and that would make him one of the best tanking classes at 60 dex though im kinda iffy i was expecting more since the ninja has 75 i assumed the other katana class would swing equally fast also tbh i liked the sheath ability better than the wakizashi and i wished the still had the sheath for players who prefered that over the waki

The big question is: is Exposed applied *before* or *after* Cursed?
Go to the RealmEye forums if you wish to help, reader.
Curse is the last thing checked before damage is dealt.
ie. If something has 20 def, gets cursed, then gets exposed, a 100 damage shkt would deal 115 damage, as armor broken and expose are just def modifiers

Have you ever thought about a Mage Spellbomb that doesn't explodes from the centre but instead Starts at the outside and All shots fly towards where you aimed.
Of course this item needs lower dmg because its far easier to land all your shots. But man this would be cool ^^
Also, the Name is simple, just Call it "Whispers of the Black Hole"
(Also that makes me think about the hawking radiation)
I think this would be totaly awesome and new while it also would be a complement to the recently died Stephen Hawking.
Really the more i think about it, it makes me wonna have it. Also they could make a dungeon wich is Based around physics and make the bosses Einstein, Hawking, Newton or some other awesome minds. Also it could be an Event-Dungeon that drops from "The Mastermind" wich could be a Event Version of the Brains we face in Godlands.
Man make a Video about it. They could make some walls in the Dungeon Reflex your shots, so you have to Hit them in the right way to make then bounce into a target. Also give one of the Bosses a Phase where he summons walls and makes Itself imune to dmg except for shots that bounced from his summoned walls.
Make Hawking die in a black Hole that sucks All players in and teleports them into the neyt stage ^^
There are so many ways to make awesome things in this context.
