- The Kogbold Steamworks is one of Realm of the Mad God's endgame "Exaltation" dungeons. It boasts a variety of dangerous traps, enemies, and bosses. In this video, I discuss every aspect of the dungeon and give advice on how to survive. Hope you learn something, or at least enjoy the video!

After i watched this video i completed a kobold for the first time on the first try. I really appreciated this guide! Keep it up
Thank you so much for the guide my good man!, my first time around I had to nexus a couple times during the core phases bc I didn't have enough experience with the patterns, but after some much needed elbow-grease I stuck it out, think i got some of the easiest phases imo & on my 1st time completing the dungeon, I got the fabled enhancement core!! I was ecstatic & the gz's in the chat rang out, ppl suggested either doom bow or stone sword upgrade as the other 2 apparently aren't popular/meta which I'm fine with. Sadly a few kogbolds later my confident ego had reached its peak & tried to duo the entire thing with some random blue star knight who didn't even have wc tops. (Upon questioning, he was apparently an orange star on a smurf account so my faith was restored seeing as he cleared enemies alongside me with no fear.) We made it all the way to the core & unfortunately we couldn't clear the "Push Apart" pylons quick enough & I ended up choking my one & only Oreo/Pixie Pally. A grave-stubborn mistake in judgement not nexusing, but hey you live & learn. It was exhilarating as I find the entire dungeon to be. A real behemoth of a boss with pretty close to a fair fight in my humble opinion. I can't seem to complete the last few phases any more on my warrior which sucks, but after this thorough breakdown of each boss phase I'm feeling 10x better & ready to get back on up out there & exalt some vit.
TLDR: Got the enhancement upgrade core on my 1st complete most likely thnx to ez phases, so that was nutty, but 3 or so runs later, lost my one & only Oreo/Pixie Pally to the "Push Apart" phase bc I tried duo'ing with some rando who couldn't help clear the shield pylons. R.I.P. 2 yr. old paladin, you will be missed..

for rip and tear, ferrus doesnt always want to rotate around you in the same direction and should be checked unless you want it to try and run you over. Example if if tries to rotate on your left and you rotate clockwise it will chase you through the center since its trying to get around you. Easy way to start the fight is just being close to center so you can tell wich side of you it wants to rotate.

I just came back to realm and tried this on a fresh lvl 20 lmao I almost completed it but this phase got me 25:08 the way you're doing it was much cleaner than what was going on in that dungeon...

Dungeon just seems so messy
Holy crap im good on every phase except rip and tear, i just cant get him to follow correctly. I've completed about 10 solo and only one of those times did he do rip and tear. I just go in hoping he doesn't do that.

Is there any lore in the Kog Bold steamworks dungeon that gets Death Poets unbanned from the Official ROTMG discord, or are we eternally doomed to suffer a thousand deaths at the hands of the void entity?

I think I called them both the hardest phase, actually, though I do believe Rip and Tear is more consistently dangerous.

I haven’t sat down and played realm since 2021 and now that I look at these new dungeons I see a trend….. they are all messy and lazy, almost like the new shatters dungeon. 😔 what happened to good dungeon design.
Whether you like the dungeons or not, I don't see how you can disregard them as messy and lazy. A lot of time goes into all aspects of new dungeons, and Steamworks in particular was worked on throughout all of 2022.
How dumb you've got to be to genuinely think that Shatters is lazy effort
@@CadJones1. Messy because it literally is visually messy. 2. Lazy because they are just copy and pasting shatters mechanics
@@mintpods8035 Which mechanics exactly do you claim are being copied from the Shatters? Nothing from Steamworks comes to mind as copying from Shatters.
As for the dungeon visuals, that's to create the atmosphere of a busy factory that never stops. I wouldn't really call it messy, though I can see how the colour palette of rusty greys/browns could come off that way.
They are a huge mess, agreed, and an absolute hell to go through. Dunno what Cad is smoking, arguing that these are somehow good.
Been playing a week and tried to learn this got to mine field twice but ended without pots... HORRIBLE game for new players, gonna quit soon no wonder everyone playing is weird racists talking about femboys and N words being horrible that have played 10 years...
Imagine making new players die to exalts dungeons over and over (or nexus) or study a 30min video to have a ROUGH idea about how to complete something and if you fail oop there goes 10s of hours of work lol. No wonder this games a joke to literally everyone that's heard of it lol.
