Wow, do the players come from well known european orchestras? I see a lot of instuments that are more common in orchestras, like the Wiener Horn, Rotarry Trumpets, Wiener Timpani, and also there is Sarah Willis of Berlin Philharmonic playing the horn, it's also unusual to see her playing wiener horn. The pieces performed are also those not quite common for such performance, we hear Bruckner 8, Mahler 2 and 3
Some of them. Actually Sarah Willis came to Vienna to do an interview with Martin for her “Horn Hangouts” and he invited her to play with them. In the interview he also wanted the piece to represent Austrain music tradition. th-cam.com/video/Q40_7K44o8g/w-d-xo.html (Interview is in German, sorry)
Redditor here, as a trumpet player myself I can say that even though most of these people are average at best musicians, they play pretty good together.
Extremely great performance, musical tension builds up very very well until The advertisement has to come right before the last resolution.🙄 Everything spoilt...
This is spectacular! How wonderful to see musicians and audience members alike so obviously enjoying themselves!
Never in my life would I've thought I'd hear Bruckner and Mahler being played at Eurovision
tolles gänsehaut video danke vielmals

not to forget an arrangement of Janacek Sinfonietta, last movement, at 4:13

I'm eating my first blueberry Pop Tart.
@midsnloud I thought the brass section was pretty good.
"LIVE" ;-)
„LIVE“ ?
You absolute moron.
Das ist sicher live
Ed Snowden at 0:56
Why is the bassist a combination of Adam Neely and Ben Shapiro?
Great video!
So many people involved, quantity won't rescue quality.

That may be true for the trumpet section, the percussionists are insane though.
Average ? You are crazy
They are the best from each instrument.
This is far better than anything in the competition, of course.
I'm afraid to look up how they placed. I want the illusion of them being the winners to stay alive. 😂
They weren't in the competition - this was an interlude.
I occasionally return to this to be sure I definitely wasn't on bath salts in 2015 causing me to hear Mahler during flipping Eurovision
Cocaine is a hell of a drug!
The drug is music...you probably wont understand such a commitment
If the bedt part of the ESC is the "interlude" you know it all. THIS is music ❤❤❤. Not the ESC.
So creative! Maybe this piece should be called "Drummers have more fun."
Where are the microphones for taking live sound???
Solo chi ha il ritmo nel sangue può comprendere le capacità di questo artista...
Ziemlich beeindruckend. Ich glaube, Martin Grubinger ist phantastisch....🎉
I swear there’s a part in there that sounds like Frozen In Time By Dorman
Extremely great performance, musical tension builds up very very well until The advertisement has to come right before the last resolution.🙄

extra. inimaginable(Die unvorstellbare extra.)
So tight.
Amazing!!!!
Die pure Freude an der Musik .... toll!
I don’t like this at all. Not at all. Not even a little bit.
